The Taphouse is open to the public five days a week, Wednesday to Sunday, pouring Dainton and special guest beers from up to 18 custom taps.

Be wowed by our award winning and unusual beers or sip on some of our more approachable and sessionable styles. We also feature local wine and spirits and a food menu including slow-cooked smoked meats, delicious and interesting burgers, and a selection of smaller sharing plates.

We’ve always got something happening, including live music every Friday night, weekly trivia, special and seasonal events, and limited edition beer launches.

If you want the best quality and variety in craft beer, this is it. Not your average tap house. Dainton is the bench mark with their beers on offer. There’s something for everyone. I’ve been enjoying Dainton since day one, and apart from the solid staple beers, I love all the experimental ones that come along too! Food is great, and pares well with the beers on tap. Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. We’ve even had our joint birthday parties here in 2021. They took great care and everything was taken care of. Would love to come in for a Wednesday night quiz night and try the $1 wings! Thanks for having us. We’ll be back! PS: Rise of the Red Eye Rye is magnificent!

No more pizzas which is disappointing since they were great. Not a fan of their burgers which are expensive for what you get.

Staff were great and extremely accommodating. A little louder than I would have liked but that was through no fault of the establishment. They had a band performing and everyone in the place seemed to enjoy it. Burgers were delicious. Would be nice to see a bit more variety on the menu.

I’m not a fan of the new menu. I much prefer the one you had over the summer. My bf had the wild boar burger and said he could only taste charcoal. Beer and service were excellent.

Dainton has been a favourite beer of mine for a while. We went in mid-week for the trivia night, so it was noisy as to be expected. The food was good and the beers were excellent! I will be going to more mid-week trivia nights.

We were disappointed to find pizza no longer on the menu. We’ve had amazing pizza there in the past and is why we go back. While other times we all rave about the food (pizzas) this time nobody was overly impressed by the menu choices or the quality of the meals. Staff were all nice and friendly and we couldn’t have felt more welcome. Unfortunately without the Pizza, we won’t be returning for meals.

Great beer selection and pretty tasty food, but few healthy options; kids meals were the same disappointing deep-fried crap that seems standard in suburban pubs, with not so much as a piece of lettuce or tomato in sight.

The staff are friendly, you pretty much serve yourself as you place your order and pay for it at the table. Food is very average, we ordered the corn and sweet potato fritters which were burnt and tasteless. The chips were soggy and the 'mini' pork slidders were exactly that mini with one tiny slice of pork on each. My husband had the cheese burger and more soggy chips also disappointing. We had a schooner of cider each and paid over $75.00 for a unsatisfactory meal and dining experience. Don't think we'll be back.
