I've never been to Daniels this was my first experience! the Staff was extremely Friendly, the food was beautiful and well prepared although the bread was very chewy and hard to bite or tear through and I felt I had to chase down our waitor to get a water refill multiple times, I was hoping the atmosphere was a bit more classy/quiet as the noise in the dining room reminded me of a Red Robin. All in all it was a nice night but not a 5star experience.

We had a wonderful meal, punctuated by a double rainbow at the peaceful lakeside setting. Franklin was an excellent waitstaff, present and prompt without being overbearing. Gave us great advice on selections, including bacon-wrapped scallops and popcorn shrimp. Abeja cabernet sauvignon from Columbia Valley was an excellent value recommendation from Franklin and worked well with our meal options. Steak in many forms (petit filet, delmonico's and rib eye) were outstanding, as was the ahi tune. The king crab was passable but not worth skipping an excellent steak. Wonderful desserts finished off the evening with coconut fudge sundae (for the birthday girl!) creme brulee and deep dish chocolate chip cookie, We will be back for the next special occasion!

The food quality, presentation and service were excellent due to the earlier dinner seating we selected. Recommend booking early for the best view table and service. As our reservation was for 5pm, as we were finishing at around 6:30... it was getting busy and waiter and dessert took a bit longer..

It was a girlfriends lunch for three. The restaurant had only the one menu and entrées were priced for high-end dinners ($49). That’s just too much for lunch. We chose salads ($16.99) and they were fine. We ordered the steak strips appetizer to share, something we all recalled from past Daniel’s experiences. The dish was $25 for a very tiny portion of steak. It was delicious, but they weren’t strips, they were tips. And we had enough for two small one inch tips each. Shocked by the price and portion size. It’s a beautiful place and we enjoyed ourselves and our waitress was very nice. But the entrée prices for lunch and the appetizer cost for the portion bummed us out. A damper on an otherwise nice experience.

As you see, another of my regulars (from happy hour at the bar days before COVID-19 !). Ana told me to get a steak, so got a steak sandwich. Exceptional quality, besides the excellent service. And best view in Seattle! I miss the regulars. Oh, certainly some have moved, left Seattle… perhaps some will return when happy hour returns! I started here on TDK, Panasonic, Sony expense accounts decades ago. And later a regular for birthdays, anniversary and any special occasions

My steak and my wife steaks were both over done. We both asked for medium rare plus and they both came out with almost no pink. We had our active 3 year old son with us, so we didn't have time to wait for a replacement steak. Disappointed to not get the exact steak we are looking for when paying top dollar. Didn't Daniels used to have you cut into the steak in front of the waiter to make sure it was cooked to your liking? What happened to that?

Go for the water views but be prepared for the prices. We ordered the bacon wrapped scallops, clam chowder, ceasar salad, ribeyes, chilean sea bass, and king salmon and everything was good but not outstanding. The ribeyes were not medium rare and while they had a nice flavor the quality of the meat was not exceptional. I would say if you were very particular about your steak you would be happier elsewhere but those other steakhouses don't have the amazing water views and for a special dinner out with visitors from out of state that was really important to us.

Service was okay…. On the slow side. My rating has to do with the price of the food and the ambiance. For a restaurant that charges very high prices, I was expecting a LOT better that what we paid for. The tables were rickety and seats uncomfortable. We were sitting outside. The prices were high for food that was good but definitely NOT great. If I want to go someplace and pay top dollar… go to Canlis. Then you can have an experience worthy of a $100 plate. I won’t be back.

We were celebrating our anniversary and my husbands 50th birthday. We were both very excited to do something different. The food was not good at all, and at both left hungry. The steak was very fatty and the charbroil was overwhelming. Even for my husband, who likes charbroil. I honestly don’t feel that we were served an actual filet because of the shape and amount of fat. My potatoes were so starchy it was like eating glue. The dinner rolls were hard as rocks. The salads were very good though. I usually don’t complain because my husband and I are both in the industry. But for $256, should have left full and happy. Sad to say but we won’t be returning

Picked this venue for a first date. We wanted a place where we could have adult beverages but be able to talk and get to know each other. Of course it was Easter and lots of places had weird schedules or were booked but this location of Daniels was open. The staff was great. My citrus martinis were great and we had a couple of appetizers as neither of us were that hungry.

We had Easter dinner at Daniel's and were excited to sit on the patio since it was such a gorgeous day. Unfortunately the patio is still winterized and the sides were closed which basically felt like we were eating in a greenhouse and it was unbearably hot. They sadly could not open the sides and we were sweating the entire meal. My kids didn't even want to look at the dessert menu because they were so hot and just wanted to leave so badly. For spending as much as we did ($650 for 5 people), I would hope to feel comfortable during the meal. The food was good and the service was great but I won't be in a rush to go back any time soon after being baked during the meal.

I was extremely dissatisfied with the quality of the food. For the price, it was way under par. The calamari was overdone and dry. The steaks were cooked well, but just ok. The steak and lobster dish had the lobster juice running into the steak so it wasn't very good either. Mashed potatoes were lackluster and lukewarm. Lobster - terrible - dry, way too salty, and rubbery - it also tasted old. I actually spit it out. My iceberg salad with Blue Cheese also was very poor. The lettuce wasn't very crisp, the blue cheese dressing wasn't that cold, and the bacon bits tasted old. The tuna app was ok, but the sear was too much and made it hard on the outside. My partner asked for absolutely no onion or garlic on his steak or potatoes, and the steak came out with garlic on it. My partner had a bad reaction to it as he is allergic. The service was outstanding. Unfortunately, I don't think I will ever go back. I had wanted to go to the Met or Capital Grille and my partner suggested Daniels.

Daniel's Broiler has moved their pricing up to $50-$150 per entree. This is astounding and not in line with the level of quality they are delivering. So weird and shocking. We feel for all restaurants trying to come out of Covid, but this is egregious. 2 appetizers and 2 glasses of their house red wine was $100. Great server, great location, solid food, but not commensurate with the prices.

The view was spectacular on a sunny afternoon. My wedge salad was underwhelming - very large wedge with 2 anemic tomato slices and lots of bacon bits, but could have used a few red onions or something. My husband's porterhouse steak was nicely cooked and more than enough for two. The clam chowder was great and popcorn shrimp were ok.

Wanted to really like this location but it ended up being just like the other Daniels restaurants. Service and little details are just consistently missing. Examples: when making the reservation I entered the special occasion, restaurant called me to confirm the reservation and confirmed special occasion, got seated and waiter asked if we were celebrating any special occasion. After appetizers and soup/salad, silverware not replaced for main entree and had to ask for it after food had been served. Water glasses empty and had to ask for more water. Rolls served not enough for everyone at the table and butter was enough for about half of us. Crème brûlée was horrible - including unripe strawberries and unripe smashed blueberries. It was worth a try but won’t be back.
