The food was good and very tasty as usual! We had taken our order as take-out and noticed some orders being missed. Very disappointing when spending a bit of money and only noticing when coming back home that we have missing sides to compliment the great-tasting meal.

La serveuse a refusé de parler en français, pas un seul mot, aucun effort. La nourriture était très ordinaire; trois plats différents avec exactement la même sauce banale et trop épicée (et ce n’était pas indiquée). Un autre plat était beaucoup trop salé. Je n’irai plus jamais et je le décommande à tous mes amis.

We didn’t get our food on time. Our order was incomplete. Our children left the restaurant hungry and annoyed. Horrible horrible do not book this if you want to have a good dinning experience! Never ever have I seen such service and they didn’t even remove items from the bill…. Imagine paying for things you didn’t receive!! This restaurant does not deserve to be open, no wonder it’s the most abandoned restaurant on a busy street, plus their reservations are always available that’s a red flag!!

It was my first time eating on Crescent Street and it was busy and a great atmosphere. My friend is not very familiar with Restaurant cuisine generally so is a challenge for a server but the young lady was great. I love Indian food and my meal and appetizer were delicious and the pitcher of Indian draft refreshing! I look forward to coming again — hopefully very soon!

First of all, the waitresses were 0 help, which defeats the purpose of their actual job. Second of all through the use of this application I was able to book a table for 8:15 for two people, knowing the availabilities are short. Upon arrival there was a line of people waiting and they kept getting seated, when our turn came up we said we had a reservation and we were early btw. She immediately whispered “sh*t” and realized they don’t have a table to give us, rather than apologizing they figured out a table that basically had us seated on the street and probably would’ve been able to have a conversation with the customers beside us. We left and no apology or follow was made up on us. Don’t recommend, Montreal has much better to offer.

Unbelievably pathetic service. They will literally make you pack your own food if you have a little left over and would like to take it back home. Cold food. We didn’t even get spoons or paper napkins. Staff waiting on us were absolutely useless. I honestly regret taking my wife on her birthday to this stupid place. Worthless.

We were running a little late for our end of evening reservation. The restaurant called to be sure we were coming and they were very welcoming to our late group. They kept the kitchen open long enough to be certain we got our dinner. The food was wonderful and although the staff was ending their shift, they were patient and professional. Thank you for making our trip to Montreal just a little better!

Cant say enough about the experiance at Chez Devi. The room is. Beautifully appointed and the seating is comfortable. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. But oh my THE FOOD was heavenly Real fresh Indian flavors Where we live Indian food is sometimes good but never great. At Chez Devi every dish we had was over the top delishious. Even our white rice had a fragrant cardamom seed on top. The prices were fair and the portions were plentiful. A great experiance over all!

This restaurant was a great find - in fact I have no idea how I've missed it all these years! They had a lunch buffet but we opted to share a few plates instead - delicious! And the staff was so friendly. A definite gem - if you love Indian food you have to eat here!

Came here on my wedding anniversary which happens to coincide with Saint Patty’s day. I’ve been to some Indian restaurants in Montreal before and the quality is typically average compared to what you can find in Toronto, New York or Chicago. However , this restaurant was one of the better Indian options in Montreal. Portions were decent size and while it’s a tad bit pricey, it’s in line with what you’d expect at a fine dining establishmen Only things I didn’t care for was that the service was just OK, examples include the waiter bringing out the food in the wrong order and then not bringing out any silverware ... to eat with until we asked for it. Normally it could happen anywhere but given it we were there at 3pm when it was slow, I expected better service Noise level was higher but then I would attribute that to the bar across the street and the occasion of st. Patty’s day.. so can’t really hold that against them. I would give this place a shot again when in Montreal next time

Our waiter , Mike was amazing and attentive at all times. Provided great insight on the food and other conversational topics during our dining stay. The food was very good and tasty. The only gripe I personally have is that the spices aren't too powerful, if you like your food spicy, you may be mildly disappointed .
