Dim Sum Library, is a refreshing evolution of the time-honoured Cantonese tradition - offering a selection of delicious dim sum prepared with new ingredients, textures, flavours and presentation, served all day in an elegant Hong Kong tea room.

These tasty new creations include "Black Truffle Har Gau", "Dan Dan Xiaolong Bao", "Black Pepper Wagyu Beef in Millefeuille pastry", "Cheung Fan with Squid Mousse and Crispy Tofu"and" Hokkaido King Crab and Sea Urchin Spring Roll" are among the delectable dim sum dishes on offer.

Unlike traditional dim sum restaurant, Dim Sum Library is fronted by a stunning Chinoiserie cocktail bar, guests can enjoy a full selection of classic cocktails, wines and spirits as well as bespoke Chinese tea cocktails. For those who enjoy a game of Mahjong in the afternoon, the tables at Dim Sum Library’s Mahjong Parlour, discretely concealed at the rear of the restaurant, are a perfect place to play.

    Loved the crispy aubergine! The other food was also good though not particularly memorable. Glad that there were not too many people on a Saturday night so we could stay as long as we wanted just sipping tea.

    Went for the unlimited dim sum lunch, to be told it was "off today, but we could order from the al-la-carte menu??". Not impressed, especially as we had pre-booked. We went elsewhere

    Food was amazing! Had the lunch set for 2. Restaurant also remembered my booking remarks that it was for a birthday celebration, and plated the desserts with a Happy Birthday message. But service was a little lacking. Staff did not help to top up the tea nor portion out the rice, although we noticed the same was done for other tables.

    I always enjoy the excellent service and food options. Favorites include classics like the siu mai and har gao. I will always go back the black truffle chicken, sautéed string beans, crispy aubergine and iberico pork char siu!

    The crispy aubergine is a delight. So too are the beetroot dumplings. And the sesame ice cream. And noodles with fresh ginger. Everything we ordered was vegetarian and everything was super good!

    I have visited Dim Sum Library several times previously so was looking forward to another good experience ... unfortunately on this occasion it was not up to the standard of previous visits. I must admitted we were 30 mins late arriving but we had called ahead to apologies and ensure our table was still available. Having being assured there we no issues we arrived at the restaurant at 8:30 and immediately went to our table and order a selection of dishes. The food as always was very good, and the general table service was fine ... the issue was that, with the restaurant being relatively quiet, the staff had clearly decided they would start clearing up and shutting down early. As such at 9:30 (the restaurant does not close until 10pm) we were asked to pay our bill whilst still eating our meal as they wanted to close the tills; the staff started to clear tables and clean the floors around us and generally made us feel like we should be rushing to leave. I appreciate Wednesday nights are quiet and staff want to get home ... but it did spoil the meal and made us feel we had inconvenienced the staff rather than allow us to enjoy our meal. Overall a disappointing experience on this occassion.

    The menu needs far bigger letterings for old people to read in such dimmed environment, and the waiter was not very happy with not getting along with his recommendation. Overall the food was not bad, as usual, but the service has dropped. I'd encourage the management to watch if the waiters offer the same level of courtesy to all customers, not only the regulars.

    Table was too small and close to each other. The dim sum dishes were creative with some surprises in taste (e.g., spring rolls with seabass and pickled vegetables and beetroot dumplings with wild mushrooms). Rice rolls with shredded chicken and turnip cakes were so-so only.

    This was our first dinner experience, but overall not the first time. We loved the food offered on a fixed menu - a great value and delicious meal! I highly recommended this place to anyone who wants to have an elevated dim sum meal
