   A perfect long lunch. Great menu and interesting flavours - something for everyone. Good wine list and the staff were very helpful. We were seated next to a window and the view was wonderful across the bay. A great place for a special occasion.

   I've been eating at Donovan's since it opened 24 years ago. It is my go-to place in Melbourne for special occasions - or just catching up with friends. Highly recommended.

   Food and service at Donavans is always outstanding. However given the already inflated food and drink prices it was disappointing to be charged $56 Sunday surcharge.

Whether you're celebrating something special or just indulging in a night out, Donovans delivers on every front. The food? Exquisite. Each dish is crafted with care and creativity, showcasing top-quality ingredients and bold, refined flavors. I highly recommend starting with the crayfish entrée – delicate, fresh, and bursting with flavor. For mains, the Humpty Doo Barramundi is beautifully cooked and perfectly balanced, while the baby goat is absolutely to die for – tender, rich, and incredibly satisfying. Leave room for dessert, because the sticky date soufflé is an experience in itself. Light, warm, and just the right amount of indulgent, it's the perfect sweet finish to a flawless meal. The service at Donovans is impeccable – attentive, warm, and professional without being overbearing. Every detail is considered, making you feel truly looked after from start to finish. If you're looking for a top-tier dining experience, Donovans is a must. I can't recommend it highly enough.

   Thank you so much to the team at Donovan's, my guests and I had the most amazing boozy lunch. The food was impeccable with an extensive menu, the cocktails divine and the wine list has everything you need. Want to give a special shout out to Jade who created the "Jade Epiphany" Fig Gin Cocktail, it was divine!! Thank you guys, see you in 6 months.

    We had a fantastic experience at Donovan’s. Everything was great - food, drinks, ambience, courteous, engaged and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend.
