Highly recommended for a restaurant close to NYC Museum Mile
unfortunately the food was not good. the photos are not the same as reality
Manager n staff as friendly and great atmosphere loved it
Food is very good but ambience is sad. Outdoor part is really lame. If it was nicer space I’d come back. Felt half done. But again food was good. Great takeout.
Delicious food! Great price. We ordered the beef and chicken empanadas and ropa vieja. All food was delicious
Great sport. Great service. Authentic cuisine
Wonderful staff and amazing food! One of my favorite restaurants in UES (and probably in all of Manhattan too).
Service was great, lovely wait staff. The food was tasty and the drinks delicious!
The food was really good and tasty!!!We enjoyed the pork and cheese empanadas with salsa picante. We had the cazuela and the beans were fabulous. Our entire experience was very good.
Delicious Colombian food! Their entrees are the bomb and their empanadas are to die for. Their drinks were excellent. This was our first time their and we plan to return.
The inattentive waitress lacked experience, which was reflected in the service. The Ropa Vieja was very good but the plantains served with it were lukewarm. I only ordered that main course.
4 of us went, and everything we ordered was authentic and incredibly delicious!
My grown children and I celebrated my wife's birthday, and we had a great time. Everyone's dishes were excellent (the arepas were delicious), as were the drinks. Service was very good; the staff is very friendly and attentive. This is a great little place in our neighborhood!
I ordered the sancocho with white rice and avocado, comfort food for a Latina.
The Dulce Con Leche pastelitos are to die for.
Awesome experience for those who have to eat gluten free! Everything was safe and so delish! Really nice staff as well. Gonna be a regular here 😁
Really great find on the upper east side with a Colombian derived menu paired with unique flavors and great presentation.
Place is nice. Food was good. The only issue was that my steak was not hot it was warm. I like my steak hot. Other than that-good place.
Fantastic Colombian food - best in the city. I highly recommend the Bandeja Paisa and the Soncocho!
Lovely, intimate Colombian restaurant on the Manhattan’s East Side. We ate a delicious late lunch including tops vieja & arroz con pollo. Guacamole was quite tasty & the chips were crisp and fresh. Only downside on the food were the sweet plantains, which were cold and hard. Service was great & music was nice.
Great food
Great food and very friendly staff
Our go-to place when we visit the City. The food is delicious and the service is quick yet personable.
Favorites include the arepas (yellow corn) and the arroz con gambas. The Ropa vieja was also tender and flavorful.
Highly recommend if you’re headed to or from the Zoo or the Met. Great place for a cozy meal of Colombian food.
My husband and I have spent years trying to find the perfect place for Sunday brunch on the UES. We came across Dulce Vida about 2-months a go and we haven’t missed a Sunday brunch here since! Normally, when I find a restaurant I LOVE, I intentionally don’t write a review because I want to keep it special. However, I’m breaking my rule this time because Dulce Vida is so wonderful that I want them to be here forever. The food, the service, the ambiance — it’s everything you could hope for in a local staple. The brunch (and lunch!) is perfect. I hope whoever reads this will love this place as much as we do and be frequent visitors, so we can all keep Dulce Vida as an UES local to love and cherish for the many years to come!
It was my wife’s birthday dinner. She was turning 31. She takes great pride in her Colombian roots and loves a nice quiet dinner with a relaxing atmosphere. Everything about this place was exactly what we was looking for. The food was great. The service was fast and she loved her Sangria. It almost brought tears to her eyes. Highly recommended to those looking for a low-key, up scale Colombian spot to dine in on a date or other special occasions.
Food was incredible. Love how they’ve redone the restaurant space. Will come back!
Dulce Vida is our weekend brunch go to! The food is amazing!
Nice place. Dark meat chicken was over cooked and dry. CoD was very good. May come back to try some of the more traditional Colombian dishes
Excelente, teníamos antojo de bandeja paisa, arepa y jugo de mango en leche, cumplió con nuestras expectativas! Muy rico todo!
Great Service and overall environment at the restaurant. A little expensive for the dishes.
Lovely and cozy UES restaurant serving Columbian style dishes with extensive Gluten Free option. Be certain to make reservations to ensure a table. Courteous and attentive wait staff.
Cozy restaurant. Food was delicious and great service. The Sangria was good, not sweet, which I liked but I thought $45 for a pitcher was a bit overpriced. Great menu selection. I would definitely go back!
The food is decent, the people who own it are very nice.
Food and service was great. It’s a very small place but the three double glass doors open d made it feel very quaint. A bit pricey on the drinks.
This place is extremely small. I was celebrating my birthday and wanted a better ambiance. The food was decent. I wouldn’t go back again.
Tiny, quiet hidden gem of a spot! Delicious Latin American dishes with a Colombian flair, a nice wine list, by the glass or bottle and an interesting cocktail and beer menu. We had the ceviche, sweet plantains, and a couple of specials and enjoyed all. On a nice evening, they have the doors open to the sidewalk, cafe style.
Food wad delicious! Came here for date-night on a Monday. It was very quiet and the waiters were very attentive. We ordered the ceviche, arepas, a red bean casserole with beef, and the cornish hen. All of the food was very good. I would definitely go back!
Dulce Vida was AMAZING! From the excellent service to the tasty food, everything was phenomenal. Prices are great and so are the food portions. The place is a little small but the experience is fantastic.
We shared tostones, the empanadas, arepa ceviche appetizers they were all excellent!!!!! The dishes are nicely presented and the condiments on the table including the guacamole were tasty and diverse, The service was also wonderful.
Our neighbors were complimenting the soups, in particular, the ajiaco.
The place has a new feel and a fresh look. The atmosphere is nice.
A wonderful little bistro with delicious food, great atmosphere, and impeccable service.
My third time there. I'll keep coming back.
