   The service at this restaurant was good and energetic ambience. However if you want authentic Vietnamese food then steer clear as it is not legit. How does a kids beef pho noodle soup not have actual beef in it? Sorry but just having beef broth does not count as beef pho noodle soup. This is a niche/trendy restaurant to be at if that is what you are looking for. Also, the prices are double what you would get at an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. Sorry but we don't be returning.

   This was our first time visiting Elizabeth St Cafe, but definitely won’t be our last. The ambience was charming and all of the staff members were friendly and engaging. It seemed to be a very team-oriented restaurant. The recommendations from our server were outstanding, especially the Steamed Rice Rolls.The drinks were fantastic, the food was fresh, the flavors were bright, and presentation was perfect.

   The meat was cold and dry. Not tasty at all. Super chewy. I would’ve returned the plate but I was hungry. Very disappointed. I had ordered that dish many times and this time was really bad.

    Had a great breakfast/brunch on a Saturday morning. Every dish was a winner. The sausage on top of sticky rice with poached eggs was delicious. The eggs were cooked perfectly. French Toast was also terrific (and I’m typically not a French Toast fan). The place was full and service was quick and efficient.

    So excited to finally make it to Elizabeth Street Cafe since I’ve heard so much about the food and uniqueness. Service great, ambiance sweet and cute, food terrible. Unfortunately, I expect more “Vietnamese” flavors for it being a “creative Vietnamese” restaurant. My bun bowl was so salty with straight fish sauce, terrible. I should’ve know better when there isn’t a soul visible on their staff that was Vietnamese or Asian. I’ll stick with what I know and love, authentic Asian owned. Sadly I was just disappointed with my own expectations. To each their own but I do hope this helps restaurant searchers out there looking to experience Vietnamese food.

    The food was okay. I got the sticky rice specialty and the rice wasn’t actual sticky, the pork sausage was cold and tough, but the eggs were nicely cooked. I feel like if a dish is a “specialty” then it should be one of their best dishes.

    This is one of my favorite places in Austin. Their Singapore noodles, fried chicken bun and mango/cucumber salad are some of my go tos. Family friendly and the food never disappoints.

    I think I requested a booth, but they mentioned i wanted outdoor seating. that was incorrect. i was really hoping to sit inside to experience the ambiance. was a little disappointed, but at least the food was great.

    Honestly, one of the most consistent best meal in Austin, especially for brunch/lunch. We dine here regularly. The shrimp spring rolls are always fresh and one of our favorites.

    This place has been around and has good food. They are definitely maximizing their space and cost. We didn't get the dumplings we ordered which worked out but was a part of the experience. Table wobbled. Might ve a while till be head back

    I recently dined at [Restaurant Name] and overall had a pleasant experience. The atmosphere was inviting and the service was attentive. The menu had a good variety of options and the dishes we ordered were well-prepared and tasty. The presentation of the food was also pleasing to the eye. However, I did notice a few flaws during my visit. The portions sizes could have been slightly larger for the price point, and the wait time for our food was longer than expected. Additionally, the noise level in the restaurant was a bit high and made it difficult to carry on a conversation. Despite these minor drawbacks, I would still recommend Elizabeth St cafe to others looking for a nice dining experience. The overall quality of the food and service was good and the atmosphere was enjoyable.

    First time here and it was amazing. I can’t wait to go back. Our server (we were on the porch on 1/6 around 9pm) was amazing with recommendations. We ordered too much food and regretted not getting togo boxes haha. I’ll definitely be back. Thanks for the great experience!!

    I travel for work, and for my stop in Austin I’m always placed up north and i purposely still make my way to downtown to eat here. Amazing service, great drinks and honestly life changing food. I’ve been regularly making the trip here for 2 years and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.

    I have eaten here many many times-was so excited to share with other friend my “favorite Austin restaurant”. The service was terrible!!! The food, as always, was great!!! But I expect more from the Moorman McGuire group. No server for 10 min. Took another 10 to take our appetizer order. The. They brought the ticket without serving our dessert and coffee!!! Just not what I expect.
