   Our server was Ella and she was exceptional!! We picked this restaurant after attending a Stars On Ice Event at Rogers Place that our daughter had bought for us for Christmas. We started with Captain Cooks Coconut Shrimp and they were huge shrimp perfectly coated. Delicious! My wife ordered the Shrimp Po' Boy and I ordered the Cherry Cola BBQ Ribs. My wife said the Po' Boy was very good and my Cherry Cola ribs were incredible and the 5 to 6 inch long , THICK Sweet Potato Fries were perfectly crispy outside and soft and tender inside. We will definitely be back!!! Highly recommend !!

   Calamari was delicious would definitely have it again, was not a fan of the ribs but that was me. Next time I would try the chicken and waffles. My family had jambalaya and they liked it my brother who is super picky said it could have used more authentic cajun flavor but my mom disagreed. Overall really good.

   Fantastic and delicious meal. If any complaints my husband's meal was cold but server and owner rectified quickly. Clean and pleasant restaurant! Great experience! Will totally go back to taste the dinner menu.

   Went for brunch and the portions are absolutely massive. Great value for the money and quite tasty. Would go back for brunch as well as to try the dinner menu.

   My aunt and cousin came to town and wanted to meet for supper at a local restaurant. We just moved back to the Edmonton and do not know any of the non-chain restaurants in the city, so I did a bit of a search. My husband loves Creole food, so when I saw En.Vie I decided to book it. I was under the impression that it was a newer restaurant, but apparently it is inside an older building and it looks like not too much has been done to update it; the decor is fine, but old. We loved that the music was down low so visiting could take place comfortably. We had a lovely waitstaff that took our orders and brought them in a timely manner back to our table. The food was really great, with decent sized portions. Loved the chocolate mousse; it was thick, creamy and very chocolatey! Decent pricing for what you get. I would definitely go back.

   We stopped for a quick dinner before a hockey game so unfortunately we were a little bit rushed. Our server was able to get our meals out quickly. We shared the jalapeno corn bread, crab cakes and Envie jambalaya. The corn bread loaf was served warm with butter and was tasty. The crab cakes were topped with mango salsa, they were crispy on the outside and tender and flavorful. The jambalaya was a good size portion with lots of sausage and chicken and came with carrots and green beans. The jambalaya was piping hot with good flavor not spicy. It would have been nice to have a complementing hot sauce (other than tabasco) to enjoy on the jambalaya for those that like a little bit more heat. The veggies were good, still had some crunch! We would definitely go back when we could enjoy a more relaxed meal and try some other dishes along with a desert.

   This was a first time at this restaurant for all four of us. Three of us did the downtown dining week promotion meals and one ordered from the menu. All the meals were very good, we had an issue with getting a bottle of wine we wanted from the menu. It is a very nice restaurant inside and i hope they do well. We would definitely like to try it agian. The prices are reasonable and the brunch menu looks great.

    The decor/ambiance is fab, the service was perfect and the food was delicious. I can’t wait to go back and try more things. What struck me was the authenticity - I’ve been to Louisiana and this was very reminiscent of the foods I was lucky enough to try there. I will go back to Envie, even if it’s just to enjoy the best coconut shrimp I’ve ever had.

    The portions are huge here and the food is delicious. I loved the decor too! So glad I was able to try it during Downtown dining week! The crab cakes were my favorite!

    This is an excellent downtown option for lunch meetings or a fun lunch with colleagues! Food and Service was excellent and it presents a unique dining option that is not available on every corner!

    The decor is nice enough - think Goldilocks. It doesn’t wow nor does it disappoint. The scene is set to mimic New Orleans high society less the golden colour from the locals. The food was underwhelming it lacked culinary prowess. I was initially attracted by the price on a window menu and thought finally someone that understands big city restauranteur norms. I was bitterly disappointed, the offerings are just cheap, no Art to the culinary practice at all.
