Greek
The stunning restaurant, which is the first of its kind in Radnor, will transport guests to the Greek Islands with an atmosphere reminiscent of an inviting Mediterranean home, and a menu of authentic specialties, simply prepared, that represent the best of Greek cuisine. The restaurant specializes in whole grilled fish, which are flown in from the Greek islands, the shores of Morocco, Tunisia and Portugal, and procured from independent North American fishermen. We have created a welcoming restaurant designed with the comforts of a typical Greek home. We used materials such as hand-chiseled Jerusalem limestone floors, hand woven rugs, vaulted ceilings, antiqued stucco walls, wood plank floors and exposed wood beams to evoke the traditional atmosphere. A series of dining areas feature rustic farm tables, dark wood chairs with beige cushions and dining nooks with upholstered banquettes. The homelike ambiance is accentuated with whitewashed walls.

We went to Estia for our first time to celebrate a birthday. The food was incredible, unique, and all seemed very fresh, the service was wonderful, attentive, and informative, and the ambiance was great as well. While a little noisy, the sound was certainly nothing horrible. Our whole family believed that Estia was well worth the value and we would recommend it highly.

I was kind of disappointed with our dinner. We have been to Estia before, but for Lunch. Then you at least can get some Greek inspired food. Not so much in the evening. Some flavors, but not really. And besides that the food is quite expensive, the portions are huge. Maybe less and a bit less expensive would be a better route. Don't think I will come back for dinner.

Soo many good options on the menu, it was hard to chose but everything was delicious (we got the octopus appetizer, lamb shank, grilled whole fish, asparagus, and baklava). We were celebrating an anniversary and the waiter brought over complimentary Prosecco along with our dessert. Will definitely go back to try more items from the menu. Great service and beautiful space.

Food was great as usual, but pacing of meal was too fast. Main course came within five minutes of starters and salad. Waiter was polite but not in tune with our comments. We mentioned both in reservation and in person that it was my birthday and we were told there was a birthday dessert, which we didn’t get. Also unclear as to why we did not earn open table points for this reservation.

First time dining at Radnor location. The manager was very sweet in accommodating us from the moment we arrived. Service was exceptional and professional. Our server knew the menu very well and went into detail about the preparation of their signature octopus. The manager also cheerfully stopped by our table to check on us. It is beautiful inside also despite the high noise level. Lamb chops also incredible!! This is my new favorite Estia!

We've enjoyed a few lunches at Estia, but this was my first dinner and it did not disappoint. Our group of five enjoyed many delicious appetizers. We shared lamb meatballs, octopus, calamari, and zucchini chips. Four of us ordered fish (their specialty) and one had the lobster pasta. Everyone was quite satisfied with their selection. We were too full for dessert but happily shared the cookies presented to our birthday guest. The service was topnotch for the entire two hours. I can't say enough good things about Estia. It's the perfect special occasion restaurant.

We love Estia! The food is always perfect and the service is great. The food is the most authentic Greek food you will find outside of Greece and the fish is flown in from Greece every other day. Whom ever we introduce to Estia falls in love with the total dining experience there.

Very good meal, very nice Greek fare. The restaurant accommodated my ask for seating in a quieter area of the restaurant to enable our 92 year old grandmother to hear our conversation. The octopus and bread were outstanding, I personally loved the lobster salad special. Those at our table who had gyros didn’t think they were authentic but still were tasty. Overall we enjoyed our lunch and would go back.

The place is always packed so people like it. I originally had a reservation for four people and called 3 hours prior and added two people and it was no problem. My meal came from the kitchen luke warm and we had to walk to the bar to get new drinks because our server was not very attentive. In spite of that I would go back and would recommend the place.

As a Greek who has spent much of her life growing up in Greece, I know what Greek food should taste like and I'm very particular. I have to say that Estia Taverna is truly exceptional in the quality of the food, in the authenticity, in the ambience, and in the service. Additionally, Giorgos is one of the best servers that I have ever had pleasure to know in any restaurant, and I wish that there were more like him. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Estia Taverna.

Food was overly salted. Service poor. We over ordered and waitress did not say anything or
make a suggestion. Seats by the glass windows were freezing cold. We moved our table
but not to a good spot. In some areas tables are too close to each other and we were
jostled by servers.
Did not like desserts on prix fixe menu. The Greek salad was as good as always.
Have eaten here many times and enjoyed it. Would not go back on a Saturday
night.

$54 for a seafood pasta special is an outrage. Shame on me for not asking the price of the Friday Special, but the waitress should have stated the cost when she described the dish. Food was very good as always and while it was a bit loud, it was a Friday night and the bar was busy. We are going to the downtown location in April and are looking forward to it.

My wife and I enjoyed a Valentine's Day lunch at Estia Taverna this year. As it was lunch the restaurant was never very crowded and the noise level was low enough that we could actually have a pleasant conversation. All of the food was very good and the portions were quite large. We shared a very nice Greek salad that the restaurant kindly split for us and then, for entrees, we had the tuna and the swordfish. We loved everything that we had. Our waiter (unfortunately I failed to get his name) was very pleasant and professional. Nicely done all around!

A venue that offers tasteful variety to satisfy most palates. Combines great preparation that can be fun, healthful, and aesthetically pleasing paired with a terrific bar. Overall, something different from the usual steak and starches that will continue to bring you back.

This was our first visit to Estia. While our food was good, we felt that the restaurant is overpriced. The fish entrees by the pound seemed particularly pricy. I had lamp chops which were excellent. My husband felt that his lamb shank dish was unexeptional. The wine list is limited and also seemed high priced. We enjoyed the atmosphere and decor and the service was very good. We had an enjoyable time, but would not visit again soon.

Food was awesome. The octopus appetizer is the best I’ve ever had. Our table ordered prawns, sautéed calamari, and oysters as apps. Entrees included the Tuna, orzo, and they were very tasty. The waiter offered us to come see the fish before we ordered.. Some people at the table took him up on the offer. For desserts, we had the cheesecake, gelato and sorbet. Again, everything was delicious And the service was great.

Excellent food. Excellent atmosphere. Server was courteous and nice but missed the mark on a few items. We were served our first course before the complimentary bread and hummus. We ordered a take home meal that was ordered in very late causing us some delay in getting to an appointment afterwards. One item was also left out. Al-in-all, food is excellent especially if you like Mediterranean style fish. Wine list is nice but prices are a tad overly inflated , which is why I knocked the value down a touch. Will definitely go again!
