Love EVOO - great place to meet with friends and share platters of incredibly delicious food and very laid back relaxed atmosphere. Try the lemon thick (half a chicken is enough for 3) and the feta fries! Also delicious: Calamari & Moussaka

I recently dined at Evoo, and to say the experience was underwhelming would be an understatement. The service was poor from the moment we walked in. The staff seemed indifferent, and we had to wait an unreasonably long time just to place our order. Even after that, the food took forever to arrive, and when it did, it was hardly worth the wait. Speaking of the food, it was thoroughly average. While the restaurant touts itself as offering authentic Greek cuisine, the dishes lacked flavor and creativity. For the price, I expected something far more impressive. Everything felt overpriced for what was essentially a mediocre meal. If you're craving Greek food, I’d strongly recommend skipping this place and heading to Trofi instead. They offer the same type of cuisine, but the food is flavorful, well-prepared, and worth every penny. Plus, the service at Trofi is far superior, making for an overall much better dining experience.

My girlfriend and I can not stop talking about the food! Absolutely amazing lamb chops. The spread with pita was fresh and exploding with flavour. The calamari had a perfectly light fried batter that paired wonderfully with homemade tzatziki. My wife dislikes tomatoes and voiced this to our server; at first she asked for a greek salad no tomatoes. But decided I would eat her tomatoes and went forward with the order. The server should have told us that the greek salad was mostly tomatoes and cucumber with no greens. I don’t fault the dish, just think it would have been a good mention. We both ordered cocktails, both drinks were lovely and balanced, even tho the bartender lost our chit and took longer than expected. He was honest about his mistake and redeemed himself with two amazing espresso martinis on the house after our bill was paid. We will be back and with friends for sure! The sharing nature of the menu was very different and fun. Perfect date night spot, especially for couples who never know what to get, so they never get the same dish so each other can try each meal.

First time coming here we got a gift card over Christmas. Food was good however very pricy. Service was a little slow but overall we were happy!

Our second time at EVOO and it was even better than we had remembered! We sat at the bar and were looked after by the amazing Oscar. Both owners popped over to say hello over the course of the evening and even ensured we had a shot of ouzo to cap off our evening, on the house. This is one of the best dining experiences in Ottawa, hands down! Highly recommend!

This was our first time dining there and we loves that it is authentic Greek cuisine and Greek wines. It was a discovery for us and we will definitely go back

What a wonderful experience at EVOO — the food was phenomenal and the service was excellent despite it being a very busy night. Would absolutely recommend and plan on returning!
