   This is my second time at this restaurant and I still love ❤️ it, the food was soooooo good the collard greens, the pork chop was nice and thick, the mash potatoes so on point, I will say I won't get the street corn again because it was more like a corn salad...everyone at my table loved there dinner we will definitely be back.

   The waitress took a long time to service us. We chose the 3 course queens fest and in between each course we waited atleast 30 minutes for the next course. We asked her to split the bill and she said that they didn’t do that. We also asked about the staff singing happy birthday to one of our party members and she said they didn’t do that as well. After talking to another staff member they said that they could have done both things, but The waitress told us no because she’s new and didn’t know…. Overall the food was great. The drinks were okay…. But the waitress definitely ruined the experience.

   We had a gentleman stand beside our table with a drink in his hand and talk for a good 30 minutes+ to another table next to us. Messed with our whole vibe for the night, nobody from the restaurant told him to sit down or move they just walked around him (to our knowledge). Speaking on the service our server was gone majority of the night… wether busy, or unconcerned because they add gratuity on top of the bill he was barely there. And DID NOT acknowledge that he was barely there which comes off like he didn’t care. The chicken was dry for a second time (with a year apart between visits). My girlfriend tried it first and I gave it the second try… the Wagu beef, when they have it is good I’ll give them that. When around big parties it’s not worth the price, unless your going to chill & eat with a big party also. It’s not worth the price let alone the elevator ride to the restaurant. Probably won’t be back.

    Scenery is awesome overlooking CLT. Some of the food was great but it felt a bit hit or miss. Short rib bun app was delicious. Tuna nachos good but ratio of tuna to chips not good. Some tuna on top of a big heaping pile of chips. Crab cakes good … steak was average for price. Traditional cocktails like whiskey sour and dirty Martini were nicely made but selection of craft cocktails is awful. Every single one is like a dessert drink … very disappointing for a restaurant like this. Service was awful. We were first seated at 4pm … 6 top … restaurant week - took us 20 mins to get Diet Coke and sprite … and then 15 minutes later the cocktails came out … apps were on the table before cocktails … server was walking around very slowly and hard to find. For the amount of money we spent on six people… it was underwhelming. You basically pay a lot for scenery.

    Too loud and the pace of the food courses was way too fast. We felt as if they were trying to force us to eat fast. The server was awesome tho.

    The service was pretty good. No one explained that an automatic 20% gratuity would be added during restaurant week. The food was outstanding, but we are as quickly as we could because the restaurant was so chilly! We asked the hostess and our waiter to turn up the heat, but it was negligible at best. I went outside by the gas fireplace to wam up. The bathroom was warmer than the main restaurant.

    There wasnt clear directions on how to get to valet parking... had to weave through several one-way for 7 minutes. The food was average, and this place charged a mandatory 20% gratuity on our party of 4. When given the option of tipping per my experience, i usually do way more... but i wasn't happy that the restaurant decided for me without forewarning. Also, the kings feast portion was smaller than the queens feast. My husbands ahi tuna looked meager... They could have loaded spinach for at least 1/4 of the plate. Instead, the spinach was hidden underneath 6 thin slices of tuna. I thought the views would be beautiful and more assesible with great photo opportunities, but that wasn't the case the way the restaurant was set up. Im glad we at least tried it, but for these prices, I'd prefer Steak 48, so I probably wouldn't go back.

    The food was good, portions were typical for a high end restaurant (no leftovers) but we left quite full. Dining room was exceptionally cold with air conditioning vents bowing right on the tables. Thermostat set to 62 in January! So bring a coat to wear while dining. Cheque included a mandatory 20% "service fee" plus option to tip even more. I've never seen this at any restaurant at any price point and found this extremely disrespectful. What if your service was truly poor? Would you have to complain to someone to have this set fee removed? This, combined with the cold environment and just satisfactory food means we will not go back which is a shame because the views were stunning and I'd like to enjoy them in warmer weather.

    Excellent food, flavors and ingredients. I love rib eyes - we tried the NY Strip and Filet - NY Strip was too tough for me, NOT badly cooked. Just the cut for some reason. The salads, the SHRIMP!!! Sooooo good. Enjoyed the desserts. Lobster tail was VERY fresh as was the crab cake. We want to go back to split a bone in rib eye ($80!) with more shrimp and the tempura mushroom and garlic mashd potatoes were fabulous.

    Double birthday for me and my girlfriend. Appetizer was good rest of the food was mediocre. Service got increasingly worse as the meal went on. Spent more time waiting for food than having a good time. Probably won’t be going back there anytime soon.

    Food was not hot! The restaurant was not busy when we arrived & we were seated promptly at a table by the window for our 5:30pm reservation, so we had a beautiful view of Charlotte's skyline as day transitioned to night. Our server was prompt & polite. , we ordered salads, steaks & cake for dessert. Salads came out in a reasonable amount of time, but it took waaaaay too long for the steaks. When we did finally get our meals, everything was cool, as in not hot. The steak sat on a bed of mashed potatoes with a large mushroom. Everything looked good, but... Nothing was even close to being hot. It was more on the cool side of cold than the warm side of hot. The steak was tender & flavorful, but too cold to enjoy and the mashed potatoes were even colder than the steak. We asked to have our plates heated up but were informed that they had no way to do that so they would make us new meals. The second plates came out much quicker than the first, but sadly, everything was still just barely warm.. warmer than the original, but still not at all hot. We overheard the people at table next to us complaining about the same thing. Unable to enjoy the meal, we ended up taking ours to go. We had already had plenty of time to enjoy the view while waiting. In summary, the restaurant is nice.. service, ambiance & views all very nice..but the experience was ruined by the cold food.

    Waiter was slack. Never came to see if all was well until (dessert) time and it was awful. No one’s steak was cooked correctly. One person received the wrong steak. No bread offered. Another waitress had to bring pepper and another waiter had to bring water. Wanted a cocktail but was never asked. UNACCEPTABLE!

    Be sure to order your cocktails neat as they charge you $2.00 for ice. Given the price structure (Expensive) it seems to be a bit cheeky to charge for ICE!!!

    Everything was slow! They over cooked, then way undercooked my fillet. They tried to make it right by removing the charge for the meal and giving me a to go meal, but still charged us gratuity on the meal they removed. Our server was inattentive but apologetic. Was not the evening I am use to at a fine dining experience. Will not waste my time going back. Great view - that is about it.

    Visited during Queen's Feast and it started off with a bang! Was happy that they let you also order things off their dinner menu, as I've been to other restaurants during this time and they will only serve the selected menu. In retrospect, maybe we should have stuck to that. The short rib steamed buns (not part of the Feast menu) were delicious but that was the only thing. I ordered the salad, chicken and brownie from their "Kings" menu and was extremely disappointed. The house salad was meh. The chicken from the entree was good but the black rice and whatever else it came with was a dark pile of mush. The brownie dessert was hard and dry. Everything tasted like it had been sitting just waiting to be served. According to the reviews, it looks like we missed the best they had to offer... it was cold and rainy, so no view from the rooftop. We weren't offered a cocktail menu, so none of those either. If you're considering during Feast Week I'd highly suggest spending your money elsewhere. They did not impress me enough to come back and spend even more.

    Pretty loud in restaurant. We were their for queen’s feast. Bill was $125.00 total. No alcohol, drinks was a soda and sweet tea. Party of two. Very dark inside and it took forever to get food. After finishing, waited 30 minutes just to get the bill. $20.00 service fee was added to our bill.
