Great service drinks are pricey though.,otherwise nice staff Noah our server was excellent! Very friendley and on point.
We love Fallston Barrel House! Every visit is awesome! Food is delicious, service is outstanding, management is fantastic, and such a great variety of live music!
Recommend bands playing faster and newer music.
Also, please clean the floors! Stickiness and dirt NOT good for suede sole dancing shoes!
Service was excellent and servers are very friendly and polite. I had crabs last weekend and they were some of the best crabs I have ever eaten (and believe me, I haven't eaten a lot of crabs). I usually get the Cobb salad with grilled chicken which is excellent and very filling! They have some really great bands here, but I do wish they would have an awning over the band - it can get pretty hot while the sun is shining on the stage.
All in all, a great experience - I always come back!
Had a great dinner. The filet mignon was amazing!
World class crabs. Great service. Music way too loud, causes patrons to yell to talk which raises the volume even more.
service was superb, fillet mignon was excellent but other dishes such as the crabcake and salmon were good.
Very load. Food was ok. Our waitress was excellent but over worked.
Being mothers day, it took a little longer to receive our orders. The waitress was very attentive and checked on us often.
All of our orders (four of us) were received at the same time which is always a plus.
The brunch food was (breakfast items) was tasty.
Menu choices, food portions, taste, and presentation were all terrific. Even though they were busy, we felt the staff was attentive.
Food was very tasty. Restaurant and bar were hopping on a Saturday night!
Having eaten at the Fallston Barrel House before, we had no concerns meeting my son here again for a Mother's Day celebration one day early, since it is a good midway point between where we live, and he lives. They were busy, but that did not impact service, which was very good. The waiter was attentive, and checked back regularly with us, even when it became apparent that something must have gone wrong with our entrees when after 55 minutes we still didn't have them. He was very apologetic, and even comped us a round of drinks while we waited. When the food came, the quality and appearance was definitely not consistent. There was nothing wrong with mine - a filet mignon entree, with everything on the plate appearing freshly prepared, but my son's plate was another matter entirely. His filet mignon was sitting on a dried out puddle left behind by another steak of a different size and shape entirely, and his mashed potatoes were absolutely yellow and covered with a "skin," while mine were white and soft. They didn't even look like they could have come out of the same pot, nor taste like it (he didn't eat them. . . .) The appearance of the entire plate was quite unappetizing. My husband's chicken cheesesteak WOULD have been good if it hadn't sat for a very long time, but by the time he got it, it was a congealed cold lump on a roll instead of a warm melty cheesesteak. Neither my husband or son said anything to the waiter, because neither wanted to wait even longer for more food to be prepared, but they were very disappointed. The one positive was that the crab cake appetizer was very good. The brussell sprout appetizer was "meh" - too much barbecue sauce on them. All in all, not a very good experience. May be time to look for another halfway meeting point for future dinners.
Went to dinner with a friend last Friday night. Service was great, but the food was disappointing. I ordered a turkey wrap and it was horrible. I planned to just not eat it, but the waiter insisted I exchange it for something else. I ordered the nachos and crab dip, which was a better choice, but just ok. They had a musician playing music on the bar side. It was way too loud for such a small dining area! We sat on the dining side of the restaurant and had to shout at each other to communicate. I can’t even imagine how loud it was on the bar side!! It sounded like they had speakers in the dining side pumping the music in there. If that’s the case, they need to turn down the music. My voice sounded horse by the time I got home from shouting. Bands and loud music are awesome in bars in the late evening, but not while dining at 7pm. I really wanted to like it there, but I was not impressed.
Was a little too loud. Additional servers are needed with the more popular bands like Never Never
I think they should have the better beer on tap (I was told it was like 16 different draft/ craft beers upstairs) - in the hall downstairs as well. With the name "Barrell House" any of the specialty beers need to be available for a show - especially with table servers. I can see if people had to go upto the bar to order drinks or a beer tub attendant like they have at most shows why 16 different draft beers would not make sense. Thanks. I hope to come up for more good shows - Never Never was excellent! That's for sure.
Great as always and the special “pork ribeye” was the bomb.
1st time coming here was amazing. Food service everything to the very end.
We arrived early and they were able to seat us right away. The waitress was polite and very quick with our orders. The food came out quickly and was very tasty.
Booked an outdoor table but band was inside in the hall. Still a nice night out, good service.
Great draft selection and great service!
Burger and filet were both good, drinks were just ok. Live music on the patio was good, service was adequate.
great food...1st time there..service was a little slow but the waiter was very tentative to our needs..we had time to waste, so we didnt mind waiting.
Food was great 👍would definitely be back service was good to 😊
Overall exceeded our expectations. The bacon wrapped meatloaf and the chicken sandwich were hits with our group. Good value and friendly staff. We will be back.
I reserved a table outside. Was seated, given menus and then asked to move inside because there was a band and they would charge me a cover fee. I left. Horrible atmosphere, rude staff.
I had a really good time when were there. I would have enjoyed it a whole lot more if I hadn't been stuck up against a wall by the band. I only came for the band. And definitely would have enjoyed the night much more if I could have seen them from the front. Beside the fact that it was too loud where I was sitting since we were right by the band. Not the bands fault. I even asked if we could move to another seat. I did reserve well in advance, so it wasn't like it was last minute. I had a cobb salad with chicken. Ordered orange crushes as well. Food and drinks both delicious. Seating arrangement, not so much.
They don't have a huge menu, but what e got was very good. The pit beef dip sandwich is amazing! Our waiter was super friendly and attentive.
They would not allow the first two of our party to be seated for dinner. They had given our table away to other people.
Staff is attentive and very friendly. Food is delicious with something for everyone. Service is phenomenal! Great atmosphere and owners are wonderful!
It was a bit to loud. But that would not keep me from coming back. This was our first visit and we will definately go back.
Went to hear the music, eat, dance and enjoy being with people. Older crowd. Was not disappointed. Very enjoyable evening.
The food was great, however their social distancing was poor. Was happy we got a table in the dining room and our table was a bit separated from the other tables. Looking in the bar it was packed with no social distancing. The young servers need to stop pulling their masks below their nose. I would go back, after COVID is on the decline.
Always a great time at the Fallston Barrel House. The food was amazing, service was incredible and the music is always top notch there.
We order 4 drinks. The only one that taste right was the Vodka, Diet. The margarita had to much sour mix and the Key lime martini was gross. The food was ok, but not worth the charge. The Fallston chicken was smothered in sauce. The Barrel house burger was a typical burger. The server was great and friendly. I had a reservation for a high top in the bar area at 5pm. There were no open high tops when we arrived. She asked us if we would mind sitting in the dinning area and she will move us as soon as the tables get cleaned. Before we ordered our first drink 3 tables opened up and we were never given the chance to move. The hostess gave the tables to other people.
Took a little while for our waiter to get our first drink order, but the food was terrific. The salmon was outstanding and my wife said her filet was delicious
Great service, great food. Loved the crab cake and mashed potatoes. Good list of specials too.
Luke was tending bar while the band was playing and he did an amazing job!! Kept his head together in the middle of a very needy crowd. Great room and amazing band. Food was the best. I'll be back!
Great food and great music. Enjoyed a Valentine’s Day dinner and Journey Tribute band concert with my date. I’ll be back for sure.
Our first time to enjoy this restaurant to watch a favorite band and will definitely return... food was delicious atmosphere friendly and great but service was beyond expectations especially during Valentines weekend.. all servers and bartenders in lower level where we sat were courteous friendly and continued to ask if we needed anything... great experience highly recommend and will return! Even when we left not sure if manager or owner asked how our evening went ...
