Farmers and Distillers was just as great as I remembered.
Service great. Food average.
Given it was Friday night of Restaurant Week, I will give them some slack. Apparently this was the servers first day. Two entrees arrived first. Five minutes later, the other entree and the three appetizers arrived. Everything was placed on the table at the same time. We had a diff time obtaining water, a metal spoon, to go carriers and paper bags. All of these are normal for a restaurant. Conversation for three friends was difficult. If I had not been here before, I would not return.
Oh no! I am very sorry for the disappointing outcome to your dining experience this time. I would love the chance to touch base and hopefully turn this around! Please email me: email@example.com with a copy of your review, date dined & location. Thank you and we appreciate you alerting us to this. -Jessica
Our server was very eager with the recommendations which was super helpful. Portions are generous and very flavorful.
Server was very odd, couldn’t remember the drink order, the apps, entrees were fine desserts not good. Service was incredibly slow and the restaurant was pretty much empty. Terrible experience and really upsetting
The host, waitress and service was great. The food was edible but nothing I’d return for.
The impossible meatloaf was my fave. My mashed potatoes were cold but THE MEATLOAF WAS AHHHHHMAZING ! More vegan deserts please.
Benjamin was an amazing server! F&D never disappoints
Thank you so much for your kind review, Izzy! We are happy to hear that you enjoy our offerings! -Xenia
All the food I tasted was good or very good. Our waitress (whose name I don’t know) was outstanding.
Hope was our waiter & was very attentive. Food was AMAZING. Only came into town(DC) for the day and stumbled up a photo of the Drunken Beef Tenderloin with hand-pulled noodles I knew my fiancée would love on an Instagram page called @dcfoodcravings. He thought it was soo good that he ordered the same thing for a take home plate 🤦🏽♀️. I have the fried chicken with donut & Mac & cheese & the garlic bread & took home the cashew fried rice mix. The beef was a little salty to me but the second day as left overs it tasted great!
Absolutely fantastic! Went twice in the weekend we were in DC, wish we lived closer!
So glad you enjoyed everything! Please come back soon! -Jessica
