    Fernando the manager was phenomenal! We were celebrating our anniversary and he surprised us with a dessert on the house the Chocolate brigadero cake which was absolutely amazing! Th gauchos were great and it was nice that we were asked what cuts of meat we were looking for to ensure we got to try what we wanted! Our fav this time was the bottom round, the filet mignon was cooked perfectly juicy, the bacon wrapped sirloin and the beef rib was nice and salty, crispy, juicy almost like seared carnitas but a beef version! The salad bar had delicious fresh options and some fun items like the Brazilian street corn, a citrus chicken salad and so much more! Thanks for an incredible experience!!

    We spent our 12yr marriage anniversary here at Fogo de Chao and it was absolutely delicious and the staff and management were so amazing! The place itself is beautiful! Look forward to more anniversaries here!

    Decided to go there last minute and cancelled our previous reservation at another restaurant. The experience was awesome!!!! Our server was very involved and made recommendations for items to try at the salad bar. Once we turned our markers to green, we started to receive the meats. They came out fresh and hot off the fires. Everything was was cut to your doneness. Overall, it was a great experience for our first time. We will definitely be going back again and recommending it to friends and family!!!

    Where to start... We've been to over 20 different Brazilian Steakhouses, and even other Fogo De Chaos. This was by far the worst. To start off the main server was apathetic about providing decent service. We sat for over an hour, and she barely came to check on us, so much so that we had to seek out other staff just to order drinks. The meat was mediocre at best. It was under seasoned, and if Gordon Ramsey was there he would have thrown it in the trash, and told them it was unacceptable:) The potatoes tasted like dehydrated boxed potatoes. For what was charged, and how much good food you can get in Austin, it's a surprise they can stay in business. On a lighter note the gauchos were nice.

    I was really saddened with the dining experience we had on Monday 5/22/2023. I had a company dinner for 12 and it was one of the worst dining experiences ever. The issues started with the valet, the only guy who was moving at his own speed and took 15 minutes per car. The bar staff did a good job while we waited at the bar and wished the bartender could have taken over our table. Once we sat down our drink orders took forever to come around with the waitress, there was not enough silverware or plates or chairs for everyone and we had to ask several times before we received it. We had a reservation one week in advance and confirmed our arrival. There were only 4 cuts of meat that came around, the gauchos/meat servers never made it around the whole table and half the table didn't get food for most of the night. The pork was dry. The salmon was way over cooked and dry. Our waitress kept handing off her responsibilities to her assistant waitress. Compliments to the floor manager - he looked like he was trying to keep the restaurant together but was definitely overwhelmed. This really bummed me and the table out from what was supposed to be a fun night out celebrating our staff.

    The last time we ate at Fogo was two years ago and that was a great experience. Great food, great service. Last night was the direct opposite. My 14 yo daughter only wanted the parmesan chicken. Despite our specific request for that item, it never arrived at the table. We paid $60 for her to go hungry. My husband and I were holding out for the lamb. It arrived late into service and was completely hammered. Also, we were never informed that our valet needed a validation and ended up paying $40/ car instead of the $12 rate for diners. This was an entirely unpleasant experience and we will not return.

    We regularly dine at Fogo as it is one of my favorites but considering that we decided to go during lunchtime on a weekday, we thought it would be less busy. We were right, it was less busy but it was also the time we got the least service. We had to continually look for our server to order drinks, get plates or even get our table sides. We were always missing something and I literally had anxiety the whole time trying to get the server’s attention. It was not pleasant at all. We did get some cuts of meat but not all. We usually get either the server or floor manager asking us for any request of cuts of meats but that did not happen this time. Overall, they missed the mark. Not sure if it was due to the time & day. I hope this doesn’t become the norm.

    We’ve been to lots of Fogo’s around the US, and this is our fav location. Great views, awesome service, and very tasty foods! My husband and I went to dine in the new location on Mother’s Day. It was very packed, but they were very organized overall. Our server was Jesus and would highly recommend him because he was very attentive to our needs.

    The Open Table parking information is incorrect. The gentleman did take action to get it corrected but could not honor the price listed. The food was okay, servers were not very responsive to special requests (like well done meat). Sides bar was always only about half filled (empty serving dishes). Very loud. It was okay, but not the great experience I’ve had at Fogo’s in other cities.

    We’ve been to Fogo for several special occasions. This was our first time to dine at the new location. We are typically very impressed with the service and food experience. We were celebrating our anniversary but had to get a later reservation (8:15). Unfortunately, our waitress only came to the table twice. Once to take our drink order and once to bring and open the bottle of wine. We did not see her again. I do want to give credit to another server for recognizing that something was not right. Both our table and the table next to us waited 10-15 minutes for meat to be offered once our card was on green. The offerings continued to be all meats except beef. The manager did come and take care of the situation but then all the beef cuts came out at the same time. We went from nothing on our plate, to too much on our plate to enjoy while it was still warm. We got several apologies and they did serve us a slice of cheesecake free of charge. The waitress never returned to refill waters or see if we needed more wine. I’m sad to say that we did not have the service or the food experience we are accustomed to at Fogo.

    Saturday had a graduation lunch for my daughter for a party of 8.We opted for the buffet experience. The spread is pretty good. Lots of well prepared veggies & salads. The meat though is like rationed in very small portions than the usual places I've been with similar cuisine. Felt like I have to beg for the ribeye 2x before they came. And when they finally served, it was so thinly sliced you can see thru.

    The good: the meat and servers serving it. The bad: 1. No Host area designated and no one directing people. When they did show up they asked to move us to an outside table despite many open ones inside 2. Our main waiter took our drink order, and the order for a seafood tower and 2 all in experiences. The tower came out (more on that later) but our drinks tool 20+ min and were watery when delivered. He also forgot to leave the buttons showing we were doing the all in and had to ask for them later when he finally popped up again. 3 The meats were great, everything else was not. Many portions of the seafood tower were actively bad. We didn’t end up touching a good portion of it. The sides at the bar were bland and cold as well.

    As someone who visits about 2-3 times a month very poor service last night. Took us 25 minutes to receive the table apps. The meat servers would walk in and go To the right side of the room and then forget about us on the left side in side. Meat was good when we got it.

    Honestly, I am fully satisfied with the $15 salad bar buffet. I don't even get a meat option. It has some gorgeous food and options and is an unbeatable price at lunchtime. Love this place. Love the vibe. Love the food. I keep coming back, especially on weekday lunch!

    I had been a Fogo de Chao fan for years, and I’d been raving about it to my fiancé for as long as I’ve known him (8+ years). For his 39th birthday I finally took him to the new location off of Congress. If you have never dined at Fogo before, you should at least experience it, but I wasn’t impressed this last time. My fiancé had never been so he still enjoyed himself but did make comments about how we make better meat at home as far as certain cuts were concerned. That’s not great :/ He wasn’t wrong though. The lamb and pork were overdone. Numerous cuts of meat, although cooked well, were bland, or super tough and chewy. The meat and cuts weren’t as good as they used to be, and all around, the flavor just wasn’t there. The new restaurant was absolutely beautiful and the sever we had was kind and professional. There were a couple points where I needed to try and flag him down, but at some point he seemed to have been double sat all at once. I didn’t experience lack of effort from the servers or churrascaria servers, but they were seemingly inexperienced, and could use more a lot more training. However, all around, this experience just missed the mark for me. I never ever write reviews, but I hope this is helpful in a constructive way. The takeaway for me was, If I want to spend $260 on dinner, and $15 + processing fee, plus valley tip, and still have to run in the rain to get into the restaurant, I’m personally just going to pick a nice intimate steakhouse/restaurant where I know everything will be absolutely on point. I don’t think I’ll be back, but I do have many wonderful past memories of Fogo de Chao. Again, it’s definitely an experience that I think anyone should try once. Just not worth the price for me these days.

    Our server kinda seemed like he didn’t want to be there. It also took 15 minutes to get one of my cocktails. I’ve been to the Austin Fogo before they moved locations and the service seemed better at the previous location.

    Our hostess was very unfriendly and seemed to be "bothered" by our sheer presence right from the start. Our seat cushion was dirty and had food on it, when we asked for a new one, she barely looked around and simply stated that she doesn't have any clean one. Soon after the bartender shattered a glass right next to my husband's shoulder, never even apologized and the cleaning process was reluctant at the best. We were quite shocked by the whole experience as it was our first time, we came to celebrate a Birthday and expected better service. Also, many guests were wearing shorts and T-shirts, the atmosphere was almost giving a fast food restaurant vibes. Food was average and I would have been completely okay with that if it wasn't for the terrible service and the way we were treated. Go spend your money somewhere else, where you will actually feel welcome. Very disappointing, and we are normally very easy to please.

    I do feel like service was slipping when it started to get really busy, and the bar was backed up so we didn’t get our first cocktails until we were already eating meat. I’m not sure if it’s just understaffed so that’s why I still gave 5 stars. It’s still my favorite restaurant and I will always come back.

    This was our first time at the new location since they moved from their old building. No server came to us for over 15min. I had to flag someone down just to get waters. Even after that, she took another 10min to get us waters. It wasn’t unusually busy as there were a few empty tables near us. It also took longer to have some of the meets come anywhere near our table.

    We went to the Bar Fogo event. The weather was perfect for this outside event. The Cava was delicious as well as the cocktails we ordered. The carmelized pineapple old fashioned is excellent! The food was brought out quickly and mostly all together. I liked it this way for a bar event. I’ve been to others where the food was brought out one at a time and not as much. They hit out of the park with the quantity of food! The empanadas are delicious!!!
