The food was great. The restaurant was absolutely packed and tables crammed in tightly. The service is great but the only downside is that it gets very loud so not the best for a quiet romantic evening
For the most part the service was great. Had a few hiccups that were immediately corrected.

We went to Fogo because my mother-in-law was leaving to go home. We had a group of 6 and everything was great. There were some delays with sides and meats but overall we had a great time. Definitely recommend if you love steak. Some people thinks it’s salty but I believe that’s what makes it so succulent and juicy. Don’t bother with chicken or pork, it’s a steakhouse. Although the pork sausage was pretty good.
Despite covid and it being busy everything was seamless. Highly recommend.
They up sell on everything. They walk around with food and drinks and offer them to like the complementary and then charge you. “Would you like to try this specially shot on your birthday?” The manager stopped us from getting two glasses of wine and convinced us to buy a bottle because he said bottles over $50 were 50% off that night. He then promptly sold us a mediocre $100 bottle of wine. It felt icky.

From the moment that I entered the restaurant until I completed my meal, I felt like a valued customer. The staff was very accommodating, welcoming comedy and and efficient in delivering my meal. The food was top notch. Each entrée that I tried was served at the correct temperature very moist and tasty
Everything was amazing! Calvin and Brian and our waiter were outstanding!
Salad bar is excellent, my wife and daughter both made that their meals. The full churrasco experience is pricey, but you get to sample a wide variety of meats, all cooked to perfection.

Servers came around sporadically with few choices. Salad bar much less selection. Price still hi but was worth it the first time we were there. Not worth price this time

It was our first time dining at the Bethesda location. The experience was underwhelming. The waiters who serve barbecued meats were surprisingly roving infrequently. And if ever they were roving, they would miss our table over half the time. The cuts of meat they would more frequently push are the chicken and pork, not the more expensive beef. I would not recommend this location at all.

Second time here and excellent as always. Our birthday celebration was a success due to the excellent service, perfectly cooked food and wonderful atmosphere. The staff is so attentive and the free birthday chocolate molten lava cake was a nice end to a lovely celebration. Nicely done as always.

Awesome last minute date! The hostess was very accommodating when we had asked to be sat in a different seating area that was possible. Brian (manager) has great energy, and stopped to speak with us for a bit. Talia (waitress) was very attentive especially since my husband has a specific diet he needed to follow. Food was amazing! So happy there’s a location in Bethesda. Been to Baltimore and DC locations, but Bethesda is our favorite so far.
Fantastic to reconnect with my friends, and celebrate Birthdays all together. We had to wait a bit of an excessive time to receive our “signature sides” and “drinks,” but the meats kept coming rapidly. A very convenient location, with an amazing ambiance, so we will definitely be back!
Went to celebrate a birthday. Noise level was as expected on a Sunday brunch. Food display/options at the bar were noticeably less than it was pre-pandemic, and understandably so. Meat selections are the same. Will I go back? Definitely

Saturday night and place was packed from wall to wall. That's expected, but for a restaurant with a buffet and lots of people moving around, they should consider reducing the number of tables they can seat for a number of reasons. Understaffed, no place to move or walk, waiters bumping into each other and dropping food/utensils on customers (yes, we had an asparagus dropped on us because the waiter was juggling way too many things on his tray and no room to move). We had a reservation for 8pm and didn't get seated until 8:40. They made it up by giving us some free appetizers, meh.... And the wait staff seemed undertrained. One woman continued to come up to our table asking if we were ready for dessert or the check, when we were clearly still eating our meal (our little table markers were showing green for "yes, more meat" ... doesn't she know how this restaurant works?). She did this 3 times and it was very rude. For $55 per person, we expected way better service and a much more comfortable dinner. Instead we had mediocre service (similar to that of a Ruby Tuesday's... yes, I said it) and very hectic, overcrowded, and stressful dining experience.

Birthday celebration. The atmosphere was light and airy. The service was impeccable. The food was super delicious. They have an all day Happy Hour drink list. One of our party had a food allergy and they were super tentative towards it. I highly recommend Fago de Chao. We plan to go back.

The server was very attentive and recommended a very good wine. The food was good as always and the market table was enjoyed by all.
The first service that helped us drop a glass of water on table & on me. She said sorry that she was going to get towel. We clean up all ice on table and ask a different server to help change the table cloths. She never come back with towels or ask if we need anything
Celebrated our anniversary. Hostess was very friendly and welcoming. Staff was amazing. Love the meat options. Drinks were delicious. Definitely will go back again. Perfect for our celebration. Wish I made room for dessert. The options looked delicious

Fantastic food. And unlike most steakhouses, my vegetarian wife loves it!
Food was bland. We were seated and waited for our waiter to come.. no one came. Asked 3 different servers for just water and finally someone gave us water. Still have no idea who was our server. The food was tasteless and there were customers using their bare hands to pick up food on the buffet... during covid.. Yeah I never going back there again. They just seem really disorganized.

Great food, great ambiance .
One of our servers was very attentive and offered my friend a birthday cake to celebrate. The other server gave us a hard time about the bar being closed at 2pm. We asked the host and she willingly opened the bar back up for my friends 30th bday to get another drink.
It's a pleasant experience, but, if you don't keep a close eye on the bill you'll have a heart attack.

Dined al fresco therefore noise level was extremely acceptable. Went inside for the salad bar and found the interior noise level very unacceptable.

We had a great time. The manager Bryan was exceptional I came over to check on us to make sure that our experience was perfect. The salads were very flavorful. The options in the salad bar is amazing.
We did the full dining experience and it was a great way to try different meats.We enjoyed the rack of lamb, ribeyes and filet.
