I can confidently say a had a typical fogo experience. As usual awesome
Food was excellent and so was the service. As soon as our cars was flipped to green we had someone at our table. We arrived early for our reservation but were seated right away. It was pretty noisy and sometimes I could barely hear the server and what was being offered. But it didn’t matter because everything was delicious
Birthday celebration.... great food .... great atmosphere
Overall experience was nice. Service was great and the food was average. I’m not a buffet person so that was my biggest hang up. Yes $60 per person and 4 drinks total of 185. Pricey for not handing a comfortable traditional restaurant meal. Definitely something to check out but not a place I would recommend to someone like myself.
Food was great as usual and our server Amy was amazing. My mother was very pleased with everything fogo has to offer
Went for restaurant week which was a mistake. Food is better on other days.
The food was great as always. I really need to hand it to the staff. I'm sure it's crazier than usual during restaurant week and tips are lower, given the lower price. The entire staff was upbeat, polite and accommodating. They made our whole night!
Excellent food, many options tastes great! Salad bar is amazing.
Went for a date during restraunt week and had a blast! The salad bar was incredible, our cocktails were awesome, the food was so good and I'm kicking myself in the butt for not trying everything but what I had was amazing, and the dessert was perfect. I will absolutely go back, it was such a fun experience!
I thought the service was fantastic and there was a great selection of dishes. I just wasn’t a fan of the seasonings. It was quite bland but it depends on the person’s taste. The salad bar was good but the meats and dessert was not as good as was expected.
Our Waitress was outstanding. We were in a bad spot for the gauchos i guess. Didn't get the attention we have in the past. Had to have the waitress get them for us.
Great restaurant Week
Great options, nice employees, plenty of food!
The food was delicious and the individuals who brought the various meats were great; however, our server was terrible. She was obviously miserable and rude and put a damper on the overall experience.
I been going to fogo for years. I owe then a long overdue review. These people are unbelievable. Not just amazing food but I can easily say this is the least they offer to give you a wonderful experience. The customer service is personalized to an extent I rarely ever saw anywhere else. I mainly go back for the service that somehow tops their super tasty food. If you never been to this fogo you are missing out on a loooooot of fun and great food and wonderful time. My God these people are awesome. Thank you sooooo much
This is first time I came for Restaurant Week at Fogo. Also, it is the first time I had meat selection
AWESOME!!! It was SO delicious and so much fun I am returning soon.
Delicious! The meats I tried were perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. Highly recommend.
Came during Restaurant Week, even with the limited offerings it was fantastic.
I was in a party of 2 and each time a gaucho came to the table they would offer my MALE friend meat and immediately walk away without offering me (female) any. This happened with multiple different gauchos and multiple separate times. They would approach them facing them and offer meat with their back towards me. They would never face me or offer. Each time I would have to yell after them or flag people down for food. It was ridiculous. I shouldn't have to flag people down or yell after people to get food when they were already at my table. I would ask and they would walk away. This was blatant misogynistic behavior and is not acceptable . I couldn't believe how commonplace this behavior was.
This restaurant never disappoints. It was packed due to Restaurant Week but the service was quick and very gracious. The immense salad/soup bar continues to amaze. It's out of our budget unless it's RW but I highly recommend it.
service and the food was amazing. first time there and everyone was very kind and helpful.
Everything was great except for the noise. It was very crowded due to Phila restaurant week. Perhaps on a regular night, the noise level is better.
I Islamic they were very careful to share which items were pork with us. There were few other choices beyond that for us.
Best place I have ever been to. Friendly staff
Great value for Restaurant Week. Servers kept coming to the table with all varieties of meat. Best pork and chicken I ever had. The sides were not special. The salad bar has extensive types of dishes which were continually restocked. The rest itself is in a gorgeous room
The staff were utterly attentive and the food taste great! If you are big on meat, they serve a vast variety to select from.
The only reason I’m giving this restaurant 4/5 stars instead of 5 is because the waiter failed to tell us that there would be an extra charge for shrimp. Everything at this restaurant is free flowing, waiters are constantly coming to your table and offering you the different meat options. Being as though I’d never been here before it would have been nice to know that when saying yes to the shrimp that it was going to be an extra $21.50. Other than that the food and attentiveness of the staff was outstanding.
5 of us went to dinner for my mother’s birthday! The service at the table was excellent! The hostess were rude to me and my family.
Best resturant in town. The service was fast and superb with pleasant greetings from the staff. Every bite had an exquisite taste that is unforgettable. Allot of food for a very good price. Giving a high recommendation to everyone.
See attached receipts confirming Fogo De Chao's Center City Location overcharged me by $38.07.
I submitted an online request for reimbursement of $42.39, which is the overage of what I paid based on tipping 18% for the CORRECT receipt showing $147.13. I tipped on the incorrect "Signature Receipt" which showed $185.20, i.e., tipping $30.80, for an even payment of $216.00.
I did not realize I had been duped until two days later after the charge hit my debit card account.
Can Fogo De Chao help to expedite this refund request?
I did get a call from Mary at Fogo de Chao, late in the afternoon, saying they would work on refunding my money today and would give me a call before the day was over to confirm my refund of $42.39.
I have not gotten a call from Mary, after her call late yesterday, to confirm their refund of $42.39 and a complimentary dinner.
Don’t go here during restaurant week. They will give you less than 50% the normal service.
As usual, food was great. Service not so much Meh.
I visited Fogo Philadelphia during restaurant week and unfortunately the food was not as good as it usually is. The taste seemed off and the meat was not as well seasoned. The servers were good and friendly overall.
It was fine. The only thing I lament is the location we were placed at, which was behind a pillar(only two of us). The good cut of top sirloin made it to our table twice. The first time at the beginning of our meal, and the second time at the end of our meal, about an hour later, even though it made it to the tables around us multiple times. Every time the servers got close to us, they would turn around to go to another area. But for restaurant week, you really can’t beat this deal. I would still come back lol
The bacon wrapped meats were good. The pineapple pork and chicken we got was dry, but I think you just have to be good at telling if the meat looks moist. The second time around the meat was better. I didn’t enjoy the flavor of the garlic encrusted beef, even though I usually love garlic. Bottom sirloin wasn’t bad. The chicken leg was pretty good too in terms of flavor, though it was also slightly dry. But still, it was an enjoyable meal, I’ll just hope for a better spot next time.
We were sat all the way in the back of the restaurant. So we were waiting long periods of time for the different types of meat to come out. We decided to pay more money for the full meal verses the Restaurant Week deal. They said we would get the best meats. The food was not terrible but was not worth the price at all. And for less money we could have received dessert. They would not give us dessert even though we paid more money. The food, service and ambiance was much better at Chima's and dessert is included in your meal.
Delicious as always!
Great food and service. I would recommend to everyone.
I love fogo so much . It was very uncomfortable when the server stood over my shoulder the whole night . I was not happy and we don’t have a good time at all.
The food was excellent and the wait staff was great too but they don’t understand the concept of a reservation. Had an 8:30 reservation and arrived at 8:28. The person ahead of us had just arrived and didn’t have a reservation and they were told about 30 minutes. Then gave our name and they gave us a buzzer and asked us to wait until it went off. Around 9 the group ahead of us was sat. Then around 9:05 our buzzer goes off. Apparently the reservation means nothing it’s first come first serve which was disappointing.
Heard so much about this place and was very disappointed 😔the chicken was good, every beef we tried was chewy and tough!! The lobster was not cooked ! They were rushing us out!! Could not enjoy and would never waste money there again.
