Beautiful view, good food, and kid friendly. Came here for lunch with the kids after visiting the water park next door. It was a beautiful day, and we sat outside to enjoy the view. The service was quick, friendly, and they were great with the littles.

We wanted to beautiful place to enjoy lunch while visiting our daughter. The outside patio was perfect. She had the loaded Mac and cheese, my husband had the chicken club and I had the bacon sandwich with bacon jam…delicious! Also, the french fries are home made. Overall, great experience!

On a Friday night during winter we nearly had the place to ourselves. The menu is relatively small but everything is exquisitely prepared. The service was exceptionally attentive and pleasant, and the view amazing. We’ll definitely be back.

Felt tricked, description NEVER said Golf Club House Restaurant! The restaurant and patio were way more casual than described! Golfers that were dining alongside were loud and obnoxious! Far from farm to table as promoted! Will not return.

Went to celebrate a late Father’s Day dinner. Sat on the outdoor patio. It was a warm evening, but it got a little too warm where we sat so we moved ourselves back closer to the building to garner more shade. Maybe the tables closer to the edge of the balcony could be rearranged or some form of sunshade could be extended down when the sunsets? Of course would need to be able to see through it because of the amazing view. We loved our drinks, but the food was not the best. Certainly not worth the price, as we all thought we had had better.

We were surprised that we couldn’t order off the regular menu and the brunch price was a sticker shock. We had to ask our waitress at least four times for the drink order to be delivered. What are the food was great we did not think it was worth the $46 a plate.

Service was slow. 40 minutes to get our food and then the order was wrong. Then waited another ten minutes for the right food. Then was charged for the food that we didn’t wand that back and was wrong.

The outdoor patio provides a beautiful view and is newly updated with a cover and lighting. The service is excellent. Thank you, Jen! I had the fish and chips. I’m not a fan of the cole slaw. It tasted like it had horse radish. The fish was a little mushy. The breakfast/brunch is much better.

We drove through an hour of traffic to her to Golden from Erie. We called because we were going to be 5 minutes late. The person that answered said okay and didn’t even ask us who we were. Bad sign ; we must be the only reservation. Upon arrival, we realized that this is nothing morn than a less than average golf cafeteria. Poorly decorated, messy and empty. When I say empty, I mean that there’s a super large, very loud party behind some closed doors. We seriously stood at the messy podium/bar area for 10 minutes before we just walked right back out. I’d drop this account. The reviews on OpenTable do NOT reflect the restaurant and are actually completely misleading. I had a more accurate picture from Yelp. I look to Openable for accuracy. If that not there and it’s just a marketing engine, I may dismiss this app for future reference.

This is the most amazing setting for a restaurant - definitely the best views in Golden. But - cold food (that was meant to be hot), cold coffee, no caddies on the tables so you had to wait forever for salt/pepper/etc. as your food got colder. Un-bussed tables, no spoons for coffee. Waitress was nice, but had too many tables to manage. Manager did not seem to be pitching in to help at all. Online menu is different from actual menu, so don't base meal choices on it. Just as Mark Twain said "Golf is a good walk spoiled", Schnepf's restaurant is a good view spoiled.

It's basically a golf course restaurant. The food quality reflects that. It does have a very pretty view and the servers were friendly & competent. But the burger one member of our party had was cooked to death (reheated?) and I wondered the same thing about my chicken sandwich.

Service was god awful. Waitress stopped at our table 3 times in total (drinks, appetizer, entree) for a 2 hour dinner. Had to grab another employee to order another drink. Won’t be back. Other customers were also clearly upset.

I didn't know it when I made the reservation but this is a restaurant in the fossil trace golf course. They have a terrace that overlooks a beautiful vista. I highly recommend sitting outdoors for this view. It is stunning! The only reason why I put in a 4 star on food was that I ordered my Burger medium rare but a came out well done.

Bad food and horrible service. Asked multiples times to be seated in one of the many open tables outside and we were complete ignored every time. My large party was more than ready to spend a ton of money and enjoy the drinks and view, but instead we had to leave because we were so poorly treated. Would never come again and would not recommend

Great food and a surprisingly inventive menu for a golf course restaurant. This isn’t your average pub food. Brunch was delicious, but wE can’t wait to go back for lunch or dinner. Gorgeous views of the Fossil Trace Course is a bonus.
