Located in the lively, new King of Prussia Town Center, Founding Farmers KOP is a full-service restaurant and bar open seven days a week serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and our Farmers Market Buffet Brunch on weekends. As a farmer-owned restaurant, almost all of our delicious food and drink – from our freshly baked bread and house-churned butter to our craft cocktails with our proprietary spirits – is made from scratch, using high-quality ingredients from American family farms. Our First Bake Cafe & Creamery located just downstairs will be serving light fare, coffees and scratch sodas, fresh baked breads, donuts and pastries, and our famous homemade ice cream, all available to go or for enjoyment at our counter or one of our cafe tables. We are excited to be making our way to Pennsylvania and hope our guests will enjoy all that is Founding Farmers.

It was our first time here, the restaurant is beautifully decorated, rustic and cozy. Crab and artichoke dip was delicious with their homemade bread sticks. I ordered the scallop dish, the scallops were perfectly cooked and my husband got the crab cakes, they were also really good. They make great cocktails too and finished it off with their homemade donuts, it was a fun night!

We went to bar while waiting for our table; bartender was friendly and drinks were great. The hostess came over to us when our table was ready and escorted us to our table, plus she made sure our drinks and appetizer made to our table swiftly. Dinner was delicious and our waiter was attentive. And don’t forget to pick up a donut in the bakery before you leave. Delish!!

Second try because I really hoped the service would have gotten better, but it had not. While our server was very nice, he did not give nearly an accurate description of the meal my friend ordered. Making her choice not pleasurable since it was filled with cooked onions. Unlike our last visit where two of the key ingredients were missing off the sandwich, cheese and coleslaw. Also there is an up sale, that one feels when ordering especially when you don’t ordered cocktails. But my main complaint is both visits our food took over 30 minutes from ordering to table. First time 40 last evening a little over 30 and they were not busy. We had three sandwiches. All sub par.

We were huge fans of the Founding Farmers locations in the DC area when we lived there for 5 years, so we were so excited to see a location outside of Philadelphia where we live now! This location did not disappoint - the quality of food was was exactly the same (Excellent!) and the location is HUGE in a great shopping center with free garage parking. The staff were friendly and helpful and everything was delicious. We'll definitely be back!

Wonderful place! Beautiful restaurant with great food & drinks. The staff was so nice! But, if you have severe allergies I do not recommend because they cannot guarantee no cross contamination. There are safer choices of food for people with no cross contamination issues.

It’s a really comfortable restaurant. There are several different kinds of dining spaces and all of them have padded or upholstered furniture. There are some booths that actually have curtains that can pull between the booths so you have a sense of semiprivacy. I loved the food and the service was OK. But I will say it’s a really really noisy room. There is simply not a soft surface in the entire building. Walls floors ceiling everything metal glass or stone and so all the sound reverberates. If you have hearing problems you’re not going to enjoy this.

Food was great and the drinks were interesting and very creative. Our party of five all had different dishes and all thought they were excellent. Be warned, though, that the place can be noisy and parking anywhere near the place is a challenge. Even so, we'd go again if we were in the area.

My meal (Trout) was outstanding. The only negative was the iced tea which had a strong taste of coffee. I have not noticed this in prior visits, but I noticed it on my first sip. After I mentioned it, my dinner companions did agree, but felt they could still partake. I mentioned it to our waiter when he returned, and he apologized and asked if he could get me something else. I declined, and just had water
I am a big tea drinker, both hot & cold, and I strongly believe that restaurants should never use the same equipment to brew tea that may have been used to brew coffee.

Just okay. We ordered “Our Bread, Our Butter” while deciding what to order. The bread was fine but they give you about 2 tablespoons of whipped butter for an 8” loaf of bread. (I’ll never understand why restaurants are so cheap on butter.) My husband’s cheddar burger with extra cheese was seriously lacking cheese and over cooked. His chocolate ice however was fantastic. I had the brisket sandwich which was covered in yellow mustard. The meat was good but the mustard was unexpected. The side of potato salad was three halves of tiny potatoes with some celery and onions. I was leaning toward the chicken risotto until I was told it had a red sauce and peppers. I think they would do their patrons a service by actually describing the offerings on the menu. Service wasn’t the best or the worst. The rooms were nice but loud. I like the farm to table idea. I would definitely stop in for something from the bakery or more ice cream. Because the menu has so many offerings, we will probably give it another try.

We celebrated Father’s Day here and had a nice time. The wait for food was longer than we would have liked and there were a number of menu items were not available. The server and manager regularly touched base with us to let us know about the delay and extended apologies. The food was good and it’s a great atmosphere. We wish there were child sized portions.

The hostesses were very accommodating. The waitress was helpful but over worked (busy evening). The food was awful. The vegetables were tough, some over cooked others way undercooked. The turkey was just ok, the mashed potatoes were dry and the stuffing tasted sweet... I don't know why.

This was our first visit to the King of Prussia restaurant, though we have been to the original in DC and have a high regard for it. For that reason, our standards may be set high, and we felt a bit let down by this visit. Adding to that caveat, our visit was on Father’s Day, which may have contributed to our less-than-optimal experience.

Here are our negatives:
-Water smells horrible! Definitely either bad tap water or something wrong with the dishwashing process, but there was a distinct fishy smell on all of our glasses, to the point we had to remove them from the table.
-Service was slow, both in getting drinks and food- though, annoyingly, our appetizer arrived before our drinks. Someone should have been watching this :(
- Food was so-so: burgers were very good, housemade pasta dish was ok, but flavoring was off, desserts were good.
- No kids menu. I should have called first, I know. On a positive note, our server was ready to recommend kid-sized dishes to us.

And the pros:
- Decor is beautiful
- Strong cocktail list
- Wide menu selections
- Staff is warm and welcoming

We will try again on a not so busy day, but may go just for cocktails and appetizers.

It was our first time for the brunch special. The food selection was plenty, but service to fill the buffet line was slow and some of the food options ran out quickly. Our server was ok. He didn't seem knowledgeable of the menu that day or what the brunch special included, though.
Other then our server, over all it was a good experience. We'd definitely come again, but make earlier reservation time instead.

When we went to the buffet half of the food trays were empty. We stood there for as long as we could waiting for them to be replenished and nothing. Then when we went for dessert, they were out of half the desserts. Additionally, I don’t see the value. $29.99 per person is steep for the food offerings available. I could go out to lunch at any restaurant for far cheaper. For that price, a soda should be included at the minimum. Instead I got charged $5.99 for a sprite. A little too pricey for me. Also, the service was just ok. Our server wasn’t attentive and only came to the table to check on us once and dropped the bill before we were even finished eating. We felt rushed out.
