Dined here for the first time and came with my brother after catching up from not seeing each other for many months. We came mid afternoon so we missed brunch. Great spot for good food and good drinks. We were told we were seating in their new dining area. Almost every table was full but everything was well spaced out so I didn’t feel any anxiety of being too close to others as we are still in a pandemic. You access the menu electronically through a QR code. I forgot my waiters name but he was great. All the drinks came out quickly but the food took a while but it was fine. For apps we got the muscles with white wine sauce and the pretzels with dipping sauce. Both were on point!! For our meals we got the spicy fried chicken and the steak. They were good — the proteins were excellent but the sides were meh. The drinks were strong but on the pricey side. I would definitely come here again!
The atmosphere was energetic and the food was excellent. Thumbs up.
Not sure what happened with the Chicken Noodle Soup but was possibly the worst I’ve had.
In addition, order was slow to table and half wrong
Might have been a bad day and hate to leave these reviews but spent $180 for my group and not satisfied
Items seemed to be missing from each dish. Quality is definitely not what it used to be.
Service was extremely slow.
Hi Donna: Thank you for your review and I am so sorry our service missed the mark. :( I would love the chance to turn around the disappointment this caused and ask you to please email me: Amy@FRG.Farm with a copy of your review + date dined + location. I appreciate it and hope to be in touch soon! -Amy
Enjoyed the outdoor dining. One recommendation is to have a hostess on the first floor. To have to walk upstairs and then back down is not customer friendly especially when I had reservations for the outside dining.
My husband and I went and it was a wonderful experience so we decided come back the next day . Food was excellent
The best breakfast in the area. Never disappointed coming here
Easter Sunday, the first post-shutdown holiday and also the first day for PA expanded indoor dining, so not a fair day to make any lasting judgements. Service was friendly and accommodating.
Our server was excellent! He said he had worked there for a few years and it showed! He had excellent knowledge of the menu and was very helpful. The restaurant was busy because of Easter but we enjoyed a great meal with great food and drinks.
I really enjoyed this place, one minor hiccup upon arrival (dismissive management at check-in) but everyone else made up for her rudeness. The food and drinks were excellent. Great Ambience, even on a busy Sunday afternoon.
Shrimp was over cooked and instead of grits they gave me mashed potatoes.
Then they forgot part of my order
Oh no! I am super sorry for these mishaps with your order. :( I would love the chance to connect and make this right! Please email me: Amy@FRG.Farm with a copy of your review, date dined and location. Thank you so much and I look forward to being in touch. -Amy
The Brunch Buffet was AMAZING!!! We will definitely be back
Enjoyed Easter Brunch. The new brunch service was very easy to navigate at the buffet. However I do wish the server explained that some items were available “ala carte” or to be ordered through her. Like salads, pierogis, desserts... while everything was delicious, my guests wouldn’t know this was available had I not asked. We dis get dessert but by then it was too late for salads or pierogis, as we were stuffed. But it would have been nice to enjoy or know they were available.
Brunch was great. I’ll definitely be back.
Considering the Covid situation I don’t want to criticize too harshly as overall we had a nice time it being Easter. Our server (Alicia)? was great and very personable. Hostess very nice. One sever dishing out food gave both my husband and I the feeling she maybe didn’t feel like working but overall we really did enjoy ourselves and appreciated being taken care of. The food was good. Not what it usually is without covid but again considering what staff has to go through it worked!
A full breakfast buffet for 30 bucks is a total steal
The Easter Brunch menu offerings were good. But all the food was room temperature, the meats were over cooked and dry. Not worth what I paid for a family of 5.
Bummer! I am super sorry the food served during your recent brunch visit was not up to par. :( I'd love the chance to follow up about your feedback and ask you to please email me: Amy@FRG.Farm with a copy of your review and location you joined us at. Thank you and I hope to turn around the dissatisfaction you left with. -Amy
Cool ambiance, with customized cutlery and dinnerware. Service was slow to come initially but turned out ok later on.
Overall a great dining experience
FF tip recommendation is based on tax included, not right - in fact deceitful.
It’s never a good sign when you leave a restaurant feeling sick. Unfortunately after a hiatus due to coronavirus we had not visited this restaurant for sometime. As an Easter celebration we decided to go out as a family. This was based on visiting the restaurant for special occasions before in KOP and also in Washington DC. The food in short, was greasy and very plain and not well thought out or prepared. I had the risotto with brussels sprouts and scallops. By the time the sprouts had been deep fried and placed on the risotto everything was just swimming in oil and after eating two scallops I decided it was a completely tasteless oily mess. I did not send it back to the kitchen because I’ve already eaten two scallops. The description on the menu said crispy brussels sprouts but they were actually deep-fried. Had I have known this I wouldn’t have chosen this meal. There was also a problem with the farmers platter, the beef spareribs were mostly fat, the potato salad had a fermented flavor and my son couldn’t eat it. Husband had the same dish. The coleslaw that was advertised was basically chopped up cabbage with next to no dressing or flavor. Basically this food is over priced and not tasty at all. We would not return to this restaurant again. It might be nice ambience but it’s not worth it, there’s other places to spend the same money that offer better food. Service was good.
The food seemed like it was going to be amazing, but while the bread and salads were excellent, the spicy fried chicken was fine, but it wasn't spicy, the breading really didn't have much flavor. But the drinks were excellent, as was the service. I'll definitely try something different next time. At the very least, it's worth going for bread and salad and drinks.
