Awful. The server was very nice but almost every thing that came out of the kitchen was over done, boring or had too much sauce like bbq on the ribs. The corn bread was the best item we ordered. Ravioli was awful. The chicken wings over cooked. The bacon lollipops were cinnamon flavored and microscopic. The steak frites was lame and served with cold side sauce that looked like Mayo. The lamb chops were over cooked. The ribs had too much bbq sauce and did not fall off the bone. The French fries and the corn bread were the only saving grace. Boring lame and overpriced. Never again.

Could not make a martini correctly and got the order wrong 2X
Mediocre preparation and request for no butter/dairy was ignored or miscommunicated to the kitchen.

We had bacon lollipop, cornbread, deviled eggs and artichoke crabmeat dip for appetizers and they were very good. The main courses were good except the spatchcock chicken which was very dry. This is a small bird so it gets dry easily if you are not careful. I won't order it again.
The food was wonderful as was the service. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and will definitely return.
We were surprised that the menu seemed different from the other FF restaurants we have been to, with a very small main course selection and more sandwich/burger options. Downtown DC has a better menu and as a bonus has beignets! Our dinner guests were from out of town and had perused the menu online beforehand and were startled to find a totally different menu, including vastly different side dishes, than what they were expecting and most of what they had hoped to order was not available at the Tyson's location. Why so different?
I am very sorry the menu variations were not anticipated, nor appreciated. Like other restaurants, the effect of limited staff on service is apparent. Overall they did a nice job. Chicken fried steak reminded this Texan of home.
We made a reservation, which was good as there was a 45 minute wait. We were seated quickly and our server, Diamond, quickly greeted us. She was excellent, not to intrusive but always there when we needed her.
We had the fried chicken salad and the avocado bacon burger. Both were cooked as requested. When I selected the salad as a side to the burger, I selected the dressing with blue cheese in it. I mentioned that I really liked blue cheese. When our meal arrived, Diamond had requested an extra little bowl of blue cheese for me. That is good customer service! We took our time as we had not seen each other in quite some time. We were not rushed through our meal, though the restaurant was busy, which was great. Good meal and great service.
We have been longtime fans of the Farmers group of restaurants but have struggled with the quality of their food in the last couple of years. The appetizers came out cold and poorly plated. They were out of popcorn. The pasta in the main dish was rubbery and the Reuben sandwich had so little pastrami that we had to take apart the sandwich to find it.
We used to come here just for dessert because of the quality and variety. The recipes have changed for many of the dishes, desserts included, and both of us were disappointed.
Excellent service by Carlos and the food was terrific.
We waited a bit before being approached. They brought coffee without offering cream. They brought out waffles without syrup. The service overall was not attentive.

It was great to take Mom here to celebrate her birthday. The waitress was excellent. The food was good.
Food was a bit subpar, which is unlike our normal experience at Founding Farmer’s. Some of the food was overly salty. We find it a bit hard to swallow that there is still a pandemic surcharge this late into 2021. Service was fantastic as normal. We are hopeful that the next time the food is a bit better.
This was our first visit. It was quite loud for a Sunday early afternoon. The bar drinks and food were okay but not spectacular.
Our server was not very attentive but luckily we didn’t need much. We’ll likely revisit but will not go out of our way.
Very laid back atmosphere, no pressure from waiters. First time, and was impressed. Enjoyed the Sunday brunch and Mimosa!!
Lively, fun restaurant but our server seemed to be having a bad day -- didn't crack a smile once, took off without explaining the menu and only checked back once.
Food was hit and miss. Fried shrimp delicious; eggs Benedict were awful, tasted like poached in pure vinegar and I don't know what the sauce was, but it wasn't hollandaise. It was orange and pasty. The mini blackberry cheesecake was best on the dessert table. The honeydew was super watery -- maybe it was originally over ice that melted?
Buffet table wasn't well-tended. The customer ahead of me burned her hand on the grits ladle, and there were no serving tongs for the biscuits. (Took a hard COVID pass on that one) Weird that there was no bacon. The brunch is a great value, but don't expect a huge variety or consistent quality. All in all, not good enough to merit a return visit for us.

Our server Ma was great. The food was better than I remembered. Didn’t feel rushed. I only have one thing to “complain” about. The later it got, while I was there, the more crowded it became. If you want to avoid crowds, go early!
We went with family visiting from out of state. The service, food, and atmosphere was great.
Been here many times. I absolutely love the food. They raised prices since COVID which is totally understandable, just a heads up! Always worth it in my opinion.
Rock solid as always. Had a reso but it was a busy wait and bar seating was available so opted for that. Host was very gracious. Drinks and food were on point. Bartenders were pretty busy but attentive nonetheless. Nice to dine at the bar again.
We celebrated a family birthday with all ages at Founding Farmers, Tysons Corner on a recent busy Saturday night. They knocked it out of the ball park with food and service! The food from fish and chips to meatloaf to lobster pasta was outstanding!

The service last night was just terrible. I had been to this restaurant before many times. Our server was overwhelmed with his section and had a look to exasperation on his face the entire night. He was annoyed with my table when we called for him to ask where our appetizer was as it hadn’t arrived in over 30 minutes. They comped the appetizer when it did arrive but it was missing two parts (honey and butter). Our drinks arrived one at a time with 10 minutes in between, the three tables around us arrived after we did and all received their food before our table. Overall a slow and unpleasant experience.

Food was great. Waiter was ok. Felt like he had too many tables to attend to. Gave benefit to that but didn’t smile or feel approachable each tiMe we did interact with him. Every other person smiled and were very polite and helpful.
Seated 35 mins late. Saw our waiter maybe 3 times (once when handing the check). Terrible experience

We are regular patrons of founding farmers but this trip was an absolute disappointment. We were early for our reservation and they sat us early, which was very nice. But then they forgot about us. We waited 15 minutes for a server, and he came only after we asked where he was. We finally ordered and our starter came on time, our drinks shortly after, and then nothing. We waited over an hour and two conversations with our server before we asked for a manager to resolve our issue.
The manager was wonderful, he listened to us patiently, and then he brought our food out himself. And he comped the meal.
