I would NOT recommend the Shrimp & Grits! This dish is served with “heads and tails on” shrimp and has an overly intrusive seafood smell. To top it off the grits were undercooked!

My hubby & I had a delicious brunch yesterday. We highly recommend the Smoked Salmon Croissant, All American Breakfast, & Avacado Toast. Our waiter, Filberto, was exemplimary. He went above & beyond of our dining needs. The ambiance of the dining room is elegant & tastefully designed with a view to the San Antonio Riverwalk. This was the perfect first impression to our first day & first time in San Antonio. Thank You.

Larissa, our server, and Carlos were outstanding in making us feel like we were their most important customers of the evening. The food was delicious, especially the bbq brussel sprouts.

Was not worth the price. For being a four diamond restaurant, it was disappointing. Cornbread was average, quail on a stick was good, steak was really good, but was let down by the shrimp and grits, since this is a Southern Provisions restaurant. Also, there weren't more than a handful of us in the entire restaurant - inside and out and we only saw our waiter maybe six times. We would recommend going to Ostra across the riverwalk.

The wait staff was fantastic, friendly, and accomodating. Pleasant atmosphere and well located on the Riverwalk. This is our go-to location when we go to the theater or have a local stay-cation get-away. As always, the food is unique and flavorful.

A small group of us dined here before a show at the Majestic Theatre, and unfortunately, the experience did not justify the price. We made reservations two hours before the show, expecting plenty of time for dinner. Although the hotel's valet service was unexpectedly backed up, we notified the restaurant of our arrival to ensure we didn't lose our reservation. We were only delayed a few minutes so there should have been more than enough time to dine comfortably. Service was slow from the start. It took quite a while for anyone to come to our table, and more than 30 minutes passed before we received our drinks. When we placed our entrée order, I politely let our server know we were attending a 7:30 p.m. show and were on a time constraint. Our server was pleasant when she stopped by, but she checked on us infrequently, and the level of attentiveness never improved after we mentioned our schedule. At times, it felt as though our concern wasn't taken very seriously. In fact, it seemed to annoy her more than anything. Our food didn't arrive until nearly 7:00 p.m., more than an hour after we were seated, leaving very little time to enjoy our meal before heading to the theater. The food was good, but not exceptional enough to justify the price. Portions were surprisingly small, and the overall value wasn't there. The standout item was the jalapeño cornbread, which was excellent. What makes this especially disappointing is that this was my second visit, and both experiences have been marked by extremely slow service. For a restaurant located so close to the Majestic, where many guests are likely dining before a performance, I expected much better timing and attentiveness. While the food was enjoyable, the slow service, small portions, and high prices made the experience difficult to recommend.

This was an excellent restaurant on the River Walk - great food, wonderful service, and tables right along the river. We sat outside but they also had live music inside.
