Our Hostess Destiny and Sara was awesome and provided the best hospitality for our party of 4. The food was prepared excellently even though it was quite a wait. It was worth the wait. Our meals were delicious and perfectly prepared:crab cake was pure crab no filler; grass fed/grass finish beef was cooked divinely at the perfect temperature medium well, you don’t need steak sauce it was just that good; lobster macaroni cheese…it should be called loaded lobster cheesy macaroni, the entree is for one but 2 people can enjoy this delicacy..hmmmmmmm lip smacking GOOD. My compliments to the Chef…You did a fantastic job..keep up the excellent (no pressure) presentation/preparation/quality of fantastic ingredients. This place is surely “from farm to table” organic ingredients by local farmers. We will see you soon. White party of 4 05/16/2022

The food is delicious just need to be patient as the kitchen is small and it takes a while to get your order. The wine selection is amazing and the staff is very knowledgeable on the variety. A little on the pricey side but a perfect spot for date night, girls night etc. Would recommend reservations in advance as the area is very small.

Love the wine bar - the wine list is diverse and the food is excellent. Minor complaint was with a 5:15 reservation, they were kicking us off the table by 6:30, leaving no time for dessert. Would recommend a 2-hour window if you have a reservation so as not to rush patrons out the door when the rest of service is so evenly paced.

A small place with EXCELLENT food. We loved everything, but the spicy crab dip was the highlight. Also enjoyed the cocktails very much. The staff was very friendly. Although I am only in town for 2 days, I plan to go back again.

First time here and it was amazing. Not a place that I would bring small children (4 and 7 year old) as I did on this day but the servers were excellent and helpful. We ordered the cheesy bread and charcuterie board to start it was amazing. Also I had the ribeye 14 ounce steak medium rare, more rare than medium, and let me just say it was the best steak I’ve ever had. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend and visit again.

Foxtail had a wonderful variety of food and drinks. I split a few shareable plates with a friend and each one tasted better than the last. The lump crab toast was especially delicious!! Our service was also fantastic, very attentive and made excellent recommendations. Can’t wait to go back!

What can I say? I love this place! I was born and raised in Newport News, but live in Raleigh now. The wine selection is impeccable, the food delicious, steaks perfectly cooked and seasoned- just an all around fantastic experience! I make it a point to dine here when I come home!

First time here. Great great service with great food. Sommelier gave fantastic wine recommendation based on what we described was a good wine. I was really impressed, as I don't know much about wines. Good prices, very fine atmosphere to bring friends. Really, really enjoyed it. Highly recommended!!

Waitress was great, gave us time to decide. I got the sauvignon blanc, while my friend got a bold rock cocktail. For my second cocktail I got white sangria while my friend got the red sangria. I also had a Caesar salad. Food wise there are a good number of options and different types prices. Overall a excellent relaxing place!

The restaurant makes great use of their space. We arrived early and were greeted by the hostess and owner, both very pleasant and explained that they had room to wait on the outside patio with fire pits. The outside fire pits were warm and my party enjoyed some refreshments before being brushed inside promptly. The wine that we choose complimented both the charcuterie board and our meals. The owner was pleasant and took pride in the dishes served and our waitress was knowledgeable about all the products on the menu. The food was well prepared for our tastes and exceeded our expectations of what farm to table should be. Bottom line, do not pass this restaurant up, it’s worth the time,the staff are friendly, the plates are worth the value and you will not leave disappointed. I wish the owner and the staff many years of continued success and you will see me again.
