As always Fraschetta is fabulous...at the risk of having too many people go there, don't miss it!
Noisy at first but after a group of twelve broke up it was very nice. Quick service friendly and professional.
Food was excellent silky fresh homemade pasta, pillowy gnocchi, fresh well dressed salad lots of delicious duck. Very very well done
Not as good as usual tonight. Appetizers were uninspired and service was slow. Mains were predictably good which will have us coming back, preferably to dine upstairs where the noise level is lower. Upstairs was closed during this visit as I imagine it is Mon - Thurs.
Our second time there was just as good as we remembered it - fresh, rich, and authentic. The only down-side was the noise level, which made it hard even to hear our servers, much less our dinner guests ... still, we look forward to returning next time we are in town !!!
Even though we were there on a Saturday night before 7PM it became unbearably noisy by the time our food arrived. We were a two top and seated next to a round 4 top. I can see where the facility has sound boards on the ceiling but they don't seem to help.
Delicious food. Friendly staff! Loved it
Authentic Italian cuisine as judged by a foodie who lives part time in Rome.
The food wasn’t quite as good as we remember
Loved the vibe. Food was beautifully presented and yummy!
Food was awesome.
Wonderful staff — informed, attentive and personable. Food consistently outstanding. Only knock — nice that everyone has a great time, but awfully noisy, always at dinner.
Food was ok. Hard to chat sitting right on top of others.
Had a great meal with the most amazing gnocchi ever, calamari, and duck. Cacio e pepi was fantastic.
I have worked at Bryn Mawr College for 20 years and somehow had not been to this restaurant before. Big mistake! The food here is amazing! I had the Frito Mixto appetizer and beet and ricotta stuffed ravioli with sage butter sauce. Both were superb!
We had another excellent meal at this wonderful Mainline Italian BYOB - thank you again!
I was hoping to really love Fraschetta- the food was good, not great, service was slow and inefficient- food served without forks, and the room upstairs was uncomfortably loud. I’ve had better Italian food at many other restaurants in and around Philly. The one plus was that the prices (except for the branzino) was reasonably priced. We won’t go back so soon.
Excellent Food and Service, we will definitely be back,
I'm sure this Main Line Restaurant will be busy as it trendy and small. The decibel level in this restaurant was so high that it was not easy to have a conversation with my partner across the table. Our server was non existent throughout our dining experience. There to open wine and take order but that was it. My food choices were ok - octopus app and special pasta/lamb/cheese. My partner's choices not outstanding. Salad which was sort of tasteless and entrée with shrimp/scallops/pasta. We were offered 4 pieces of cold bread with olive oil prior to food arriving. Both entrées came out cold. We had to send them back. Took quite a while to heat them up. Came back and they were still cold. Didn't send it back again. Scallops had a funky taste. Feeling that the entrees were possibly never sent back to get heated, just left there. Noticed that the other servers seemed more enthusiastic and attentive. Dessert arrived very quickly. Not very memorable. I think in this setting that whole picture has to come into view when dining, and for us it just didn't.
Delicious food with great service!
Best Italian on the Mainline. Delicious and great staff.
hi, great service, great food!, would definitely recommend and come back often!
The meal was fresh, varied and delicious. The service was prompt, friendly and attentive. It was a delightful dinner with our family.
Gnocchi with truffle was delicious. Bucatini cooked perfectly. Julio was a wonderful server!
Great family dinner and birthday celebration!!
No problems. Good food.
We are regulars at this spot. Nice BYO. The Owner Rosemarie Tran is so welcoming and friendly. Love the pastas and they are very accommodating for Vegan diners.
We enjoy eating here because it’s delicious, consistent and a great BYOB. The wait staff is attentive. You cannot go wrong with any of the meals. We recommend this place to all of our friends
My husband and I have been to Fraschetta several times. The food is excellent, especially the homemade pasta. Prices may be a little high but BYOB keeps the overall price reasonable.
WE LOVE THIS PLACE BUT OUR PORK DISH WAS NOT VERY GOOD. WE WON'T ORDER IT AGAIN. iT WAS DRY AND THERE ARE ONLY POTATOES AND THE PORK. iTS NEEDS A VEGETABLE WITH IT. DOWNSTAIRS IS VERY NOISY BUT WE ATE UPSTAIRS AND IT WAS VERY QUIET.
Food was very good, if a little pricey. Restaurant was very loud, and hard to hear my companion. Service was hurried, and it didn’t seem as if our server wanted to be there.
Overall, may have been an off-night - will try again.
We love this restaurant. Top notch Italian food at reasonable prices and it is BYOB. Sometimes it can be a little noisy, but always worth the visit.
Great food and great service. A little small. Highly recommend.
Excellent food and service. One of our favorite spots.
Fraschetta never disappoints! Great value and a real neighborhood gem. BYO and that makes it all the more attractive!
My wife and I have both been to the restaurant twice before and I have been there twice with friends and would like to start out saying that we enjoyed it so much we couldn’t wait to go back and have a great meal.
No ice bucket for white wine was offered at all, glasses all left upside down until we served ourselves and turned over water glasses. After we did that we were asked if we wanted sparkling or tapwater and said tapwater but did not receive it, 15 minutes later we had to ask for it. Hadn’t been approached by wait staff that entire time.
Still hadn’t received the bread basket we were promised and when we did some of the bread was hard, we asked for another basket and the bread that was hard was underneath the fresh bread that we were given.
we both ordered the pork, one was fresh and the other was dry and lukewarm warm, neither had very much flavor, mashed potatoes were listed as garlic mashed potatoes but the tiny scoop was flavorless. Service was slow and inattentive. Very disappointed. We won’t be back.
Julio is a fantastic waiter and with the excellent food - made the entire evening fantastic!
We had another wonderful dinner at one of the best restaurants on the Main Line! The octopus appetizer and oxtail Raghu are fabulous. We also love being able to bring our own wine to this excellent BYOB!
Birthday for my husband
Fraschetta always turns out great plates. Finocchio was subtly seasoned and fresh. Octopus appetizer tender and ample. Entrees of mixed grilled seafood and duck leg were perfectly done and tasty. Even the olive oil poured for the bread was fresh and flavorful. Not many BYOs on the Main Line can match Fraschetta in consistency and choice.
