   Dining in the cozy atmosphere upstairs with our friends was a nice experience. The meatball appetizer is a nice one to share. I throughly enjoyed my salmon with octopus. Unfortunately, my husband’s pork tenderloin was over cooked. I am sure this was just a fluke since the food is usually amazing. We plan to return again in the future to sample other creative menu options at Fraschetta.

   Not enough attention from waiter. I ordered the ravioli and received rigatoni, with Cacio y pepi sauce but no filling or smoked pork cheek. Short of standing up from my table, there was no way to reach anyone, so I started eating. Finally someone arrived and the mistake was recognized. He offered to bring the ravioli, but I did not need more food, so he comped me for it.

   We went in the middle of the week. Fraschetta was not crowded and noise level was fine. The food was delicious, service polite and prompt and price was reasonable for the quality. BYOB was no problem.

    This was my first time there. A neighborhood "gem" in Bryn Mawr. Convenient, parking excellent, very nice, small restaurant serving homecooked Italian cuisine. BYOB helps making dining out much more affordable. service was excellent-personal and attentive.

    Excellent restaurant. We had tickets for a 7:00 movie next door, so arrived a little before 6:00. Hostess and waitstaff were very attentive to our timing needs. Food was absolutely divine, service impeccable. Had been here once before and will definitely be visiting again!

    I had the pork loin stuffed with prosciutto and it was exceptional -- flavorful, crispy exterior, tender, juicy. The service was not good -- they are packed with diners and lack enough servers (they kind of tag-team the service). But I'll return, just not between 5:30 - 8:00 when it was bedlam.

    Our waiter quit in the middle of dinner, one entree came the others 1/2 later and they were cold and had no taste. The owner wasn’t present and there was no manager on duty. Horrible experience.

    This was my 4th time at Fraschetta and I’ve never been disappointed. Had two specials, steak and pasta and both were great! This is my go to place for a guaranteed great meal.

    Perfect food. Great fritters and house special pasta as appetizers. The fish of the day was perfect, and the lamb osso bucco , tender with crisp skin and fell off the bone. Cobbler desert and a chocolate one ended a perfect meal. Service was exceptional, even on a busy Saturday night. A fine experience.

    We always enjoy Fraschetta. We ate early and there were only 3 parties when we arrived. We were warmly greeted by our server Chris. He was patient, giving us time to chat with our friends. He explained the specials for the evening. We ordered and started with a salad which was divided for us in the kitchen. We all enjoyed our entrees. I had the pasta with crab; it was very flavorful. My husband had the Osso bucco ; he felt the sauce overpowered the meat. We shared the cobbler; it was delicious. I noted the servers helped each other, delivering food and resetting tables. We’ll be back!

    We were seated upstairs which was nice and more private than the first floor level. Had a pleasant noise level during the meal with table towards the front side. Food was disappointing. We started with the meat and cheese board which was perfect with the Barolo that we brought. Hint bring your own wine opener it makes things very easy when you open on your own. The mains were disappointing. Pasta bolognese was hurting to find honestly any meat in there at all. Cmon guys I know this is not rocket science. If you sell this for $22 bucks please put in a generous amount of meat. I felt like we paid for just pasta. Very upsetting. Also we had two ossobucco orders. The shank wasn’t really a shank. It was none with some meat on the end of it. Where was the meat? Another disappointment but the flavor was good. Overall I would not recommend this place They need to up their game first.

    It's upsetting that the food was so delicious, because the service we received this past Saturday night has us not wanting to return ever again. We had 3 different servers the whole night, yet it took us 20 minutes to get our bottle of wine back (one server could not open, took our bottle of wine into the kitchen, and didn't return it to us for 20 minutes) and our Rustico board took 30 minutes after ordering to come out without the side of bread. When we asked for the side of bread, 15 minutes later, bread that was frozen in the middle came out. It took us 10 minutes to flag down one of our 3 servers to get warm bread. One hour after sitting down, we were finally able to begin eating. The dinner was delicious. We had the spinach ravioli and the mushroom pasta, and it was delicious. Due to the debacle earlier, we were offered a free dessert, and our waiter came up to our table 5 minutes after we ordered dessert with him to ask if we ever ordered dessert. The service is the only reason we will not return as the atmosphere and food was delicious.

    I had two dinners here and each time the food was incredible…the restaurant is small so you need to secure a reservation if it’s busy, but I went on a Friday night after making an open table reservation and they accommodated us. I forgot it was a BYO, so my friend and I ordered and went a couple blocks to liquor store to return for our meal…service was wonderful but I can’t praise our meal enough…delicious! We split a salad and gnocchi…3 large medallions of ricotta gnocchi in a wonderful mushroom gravy…I had the pork tenderloin and my friend had the salmon grilled with octopus and gulf shrimp! So well cooked and we enjoyed the leisurely dinner! I am definitely making this one of my go-to places on the mainline…if you time it right, you can catch a movie at the Bryn Mawr theater next door…

    Food is always excellent but the service is at times strained if short-staffed. BUT the noise is really not energenic...it's very annoying. The constant complant is that the noise level is so hight, you cannot hear the waiter over the din; you cannot converse without yelling across the table and at times, you cannot hear yourself think. Other than the noise, a very pleasant evening.
