Amazing service. Arrived earlier than our reservations and was seated right away. The food was great. Drinks strong and well worth the money.
They never had my reservation. The food and drinks were good
I arrived very late for my reservation, and was warmly welcomed. I was seated promptly and felt safe, as they adhered to physical distances guidelines, and all staff wore masks. The menu was varied, which was great not knowing what I had a taste for. I decided on the Flatbread and Crab Ceasar Salad. Both were delicious! They also recognized my Birthday with a slice of cake on the house. I had a lovely solo Birthday Lunch, and look forward to returning.
The small Caesar salad and loaded potato skins tasted ok but the size wasn’t worth the price. We had to send the 45 oz steak for 2 back twice. We asked for medium rare and it was blue. I do have to say the flavor was very good. The 2 sides that came with the steak were asparagus and sautés broccoli & carrots but wasn’t very sizable. We were commenting among ourselves regarding the size of the sides and they automatically sent us another broccoli and carrots. (That was good of them). I will give them another try.
Food was well prepared and delicious; especially the aged porterhouse for two. Drinks were perfectly mixed. Service was timely and the servers were very polite. Unfortunately, we made our reservation near the end of the Sunday brunch and there were some tables of patrons that were very, VERY loud and had no concept of "inside voices". Overall, a satisfying dining experience.
We came for a Sunday brunch to celebrate a graduation. Food was okay, menu had fewer options than what was shown online and was okay, nothing astounding. The drinks were where the value was with bottomless mimosas, sangria, Bloody Mary or screwdriver. But the waitstaff was not so attentive to keep filling our glasses at an appropriate pace, and it wasn’t even that busy that morning.
Celebrated my 32nd birthday here! It was amazing. intimate setting for the whole fami
Mother’s Day dinner, food was excellent. Slow coming out of the kitchen but it was very crowded, so understandable, and manager/owner/servers couldn’t have been nicer about it. Will definitely return.
Amazing, great family oriented setting. Food and drinks were great! !
Place was great ! I would recommend to anyone that’s looking for a great brunch !!
Prices were inflated by 30% from what was on their website. Blindsided when handed the menu for Mother’s Day. Party of 9 bill was well over $600
Small portions to boot Wish watered down drinks. I’d avoid at all costs
Approached server regarded prices on website they said they don’t know
Delicious as always.
Wonderful place and service! Food was amazing. Will definitely dine there again!!!
Amazing as always
Nice enough atmosphere. Tables well separated for dining. Bread was good. Boyfriend didn’t like the herbs or probably the rosemary on/in the bread. I loved the texture of the bread. I had to ask for the bread. The half chicken I ordered was delicious and the spinach (up charge but was not told prior) and baked potato was awesome. The branzino was full of little bones and a little spicy. Mixed vegetables too. So we have a mixed review. Server was very nice and brought sliders due to not finishing the fish. I tasted the sliders and thought “eh”.
When I entered I saw Bruno the owner and told him that we hoped that he changed the menu since being closed. We get tired of the same old things which makes it hard to keep going back. We were surprised that the menu did changed a little but he needs to offer more of a variety and specials. I want this place to stay around in our neighborhood for a long time...
Back after a year away and never fails to impress. Everything prepared and presented beautifully. Still the best bang for your buck especially with their steaks.
Great food, great service as usual!
Usually excellent burgers, but this time kitchen overcooked them. Didn't want to send back as they were still okay, but not excellent. Generous portions of fries and good-sized burger. Restaurant was relatively empty and quiet until one family came in and the father/husband decided this was his platform and the entire restaurant needed to know it was his son's 21st birthday. We ate our food, wished the kid Happy Birthday and left.
Our server Samantha was excellent!! Friendly and attentive without being overbearing.
Saturday night at Galo Tavern 18 on Union Turpkike in NHP. An absolute gem! Food and service were impeccable. The place is huge, with good COVID protocols. Swordfish and skirt steak were out of this world!
Porterhouse steak on a cast iron skillet on a little raised wooden table. Absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked. Definitely go again.
It’s always great at Galo, we go in person, recommend to friends, pick up food. 5 🌟🤩
Had my wedding reception here. My Tavern 18, was on point that day. Food as hot and quick. Drinks were flowing. I was a wonderful experience
The restaurant was very nice and comfortable. The food was mediocre, not worth the money. They did have a large selection. The drinks came in a cute jar. The lava cake dessert was really good. But for the price of the entres, it was not worth it. Our waitress was very nice. Thanks:)
The staff was wonderful service was very great
One of my favorite local establishments to dine. Food, value and service is always impeccable. It was my first choice for indoor restaurant dining after being vaccinated and ready for returning to eat at a restaurant. Whether you’re there for dinner, brunch, date night, girls night out or a party/event, this restaurant is always a great place to visit.
The waiter was super nice and the food was amazing. Worth going there
We enjoyed our dinner, and were well taken care of.
We’ll be back.
Surprisingly better food and variety on the menu than one might expect at this price point. Definitely will return.
Tavern never disappoints, the skirt steak was cooked to perfection. Mac and cheese just like I like it, nice and well done on top.. Great meal
As always my Tavern 18 never disappoints
We came here for my husbands birthday on a Monday so it was totally empty - we had the whole thing to ourselves which was super nice during COVID times. For it being empty, service was a bit slow but the waitress was very nice. We liked the food and the ambience was great.
We were so happy the tavern is back for indoor dining.
We can always rely on this place for good food and great service.
If you are looking for a great place this is it but make sure you make a reservation!!!!
We had a very good business meeting. They reserved a table for us in the back away from everyone else which was very helpful throughout our business meeting. Food was excellent!! Service was good.
As always, Tavern 18 was amazing.
I went for Valentine’s Day & chose booth seating. The food was great.
Food was very good; Bruno the boss was very careful n table were spread out
