Pleasant atmosphere and attentive staff. Good wine list and the food was fresh and the chef was accommodating to substitutions. I have it 4 stars in food bc the lobster was slightly chewy

The service was outstanding and we had a wonderful waiter. Food selection had a little something for every pallet. They paced our appetizer and meals just right. We wanted to have cocktails and wine with each. Highly recommend seafood platter!

Incredibly sweet and helpful staff. Seems like everyone works together which is always a wonderful thing to see. Our waitress recommended fabulous drinks and honest opinions on food. The food was fresh and very tasty. Can’t wait to come again.

Another outstanding dinner at Gibralter, this is our go to restaurant in Lancaster. They are always accommodating even though we have a 6 month old baby, we have had differing experiences elsewhere because of her but they always make us feel comfortable. Makella our server was so attentive and helpful in every way, we highly recommend Gibralter for a perfect meal.

Anniversary Dinner, what a pleasant surprise. The food was amazing. The service by Oswaldo and the staff was exceptional.

Service was poor ar first. Waited over an hour for our entres but the owner was very apologetic because he has higher standards for his business, which i can respect. And we were offered free drinks. The food was good but could have used more seasoning.

This was our first visit to Gibraltar since moving to Lancaster in December. We really enjoyed all of the food choices, and our waitress, Gabby, was excellent. We will definitely be back soon.

Absolutely love the Tuna Tatare: avocado salad / wasabi aioli / ponzu sauce / crisp wonton. It is my go to dish whenever we eat there.

Ambiance was excellent and service was very prompt. Some of the food was salty and the brussel sprouts were mushy. The tuna tartare was delicious however.

The food and service was spectacular. We tried a bunch of different things including the clam and corn chowder, scallops, and creme brûlée. Everything was delicious!

We reserved a hi top for 2 at the bar. The server again, was amazing - knowledgeable, professional, fun. Food is over top excellent. Extensive wine list. Blue Point Oysters & Kennett Square Mushroom appetizers. Seared Scallops and Lobster Fettuccini entrees. If I’m gonna drop $100+ on a meal, this is where I’ll always come.

It was so great to get back to Gibralter, our server Mike was fantastic. I ordered a signature bourbon drink, their caesar salad is fabulous, but my entree of sea bass was absolutely amazing! It was done to perfection. I would recommend this restaurant to any couple looking for a wonderful high-end dining experience. My husband and I love their food and have never had a bad experience.

Gibraltar never disappoints!

We had not been to Gibraltar's since it moved from a previous location in Lancaster and were greatly surprised with the atmosphere and quality of food and selection. The room we sat in was great for our meeting and our server, Maggie was excellent. The owner kept coming by our table as well as the other tables making sure everything was up to our satisfaction. Everything we had that evening from appetizers to the main course was prepared well and we didn't feel rushed at any time.

Crab cake appetizer was wonderful as was the short rib appetizer. Salmon & scallops were delicious.

Deciding to celebrate my husband’s birthday at Gibraltar was a wonderful idea — mine — that was surpassed only by our outstanding dining experience. Relaxed atmosphere, delicious before-dinner drinks — I recommend the pineapple, blueberry mojito. We took advantage of the extensive wine selection and both ordered filet mignon, which was perfection. From drinks to dessert, we were delighted. Delicious food, exemplary service! Thank you!

Birthday celebration

Gibraltar’s is one of our favorite places for dinner and drinks. We had a great time and everyone enjoyed their food. Our reservation was at 5 and we were seated promptly. I was a little surprised at the crowd waiting to be seated and at the bar.

Out to dinner with family visiting from Florida. It’s always a great experience at Gibraltar. Food service cocktails always top notch. Below is my husbands appetizers!! Great wine too.

Didn’t know this restaurant was still in operation. When it left the F&M plaza we were under the impression that it had gone out of business. To our delight open table had it featured in our search in Lancaster for a restaurant.
So glad it’s still in operation! We will be back many times!!

The food and service is constantly excellent!

Gibralter's food continues to be excellent and the wine list is extensive. However, we asked for a wine recommendation in the $40.00 range and the waiter brought a $60.00 per bottle suggestion. Not cool.
The restaurant was noisy and continues to be too dark - missing the mark on romantic and instead being dreary.
We'd recommend but would advise friends about the atmosphere and the attempts to "sell up" the wine cost.

Always have a great experience at this restaurant.

Loved our dinner at Gibraltar. I had never visited before and everything was very pleasant! My husband had been here once. The service was wonderful and they have beautiful decor here; it was also very clean. The Blue Point oysters were so fresh and amazing!! Ordered a bottle of Sebastiani and it was so good. Dinner choices were well prepared. Very much appreciated the kind service of Jerrod. Highly recommended!
