Gnocco is a East Village Gem. A bit of Italia on Avenue B.
Everything is remarkable, I have been frequenting Gnocco for 20 years, and it is always memorable and brings back my time living in Italia.
What an amazing experience start to finish! Amazing service, so quick, knowledgeable of the menu, accommodates everyone from meat eaters, to vegans, to gluten free diners! Which was perfect for our little group :) EVERYTHING was delicious and we got a little carried away with ordering. Can’t wait to be back! Telling everyone who will listen to go until then!
Went for brunch. Food was okay but the service was horrible. Slow, rude and definitely the reason we won’t be coming back.
This is a very good restaurant. I have been a few times. Food is good and plentiful. Prices are reasonable. The service was very attentive.
Phenomenal food, especially the small plates! (We had two appetizers and two mains). My girlfriend got the Seafood Pesto dish (I'm blanking on the actual name) and it was very salty which seemed unusual, and we told management kindly and they were very apologetic and even comped it on the bill. Will be back for sure.
We took my dad for his birthday and he loved it! Wants to go back when he visits again. The pesto was the freshest we’ve ever tasted, and the gnocchi is amazing! The staff is so nice and accommodating and the backyard was lovely.
Food was a decent price and tasted good. The ambiance on a sunny day should’ve been great but was hampered slightly because of the amount of seeds that rained down outside every time the wind blew. They did get everywhere - drinks, food, hair, eyes. If you go outside during the Spring make sure to ask for seating under the covered portion of the patio. Even through the constant downfall of seeds it was a great meal and I could see myself going back again.
The restaurant and staff were great. The service was really slow. One of our appetizers were forgotten and our food took very long to come out. It’s a great looking restaurant.
They did not tell me that my small portion of pasta was not available on the lunch menu on a Saturday at 3 pm, so after ordering a $13 pasta (which I only ordered because I needed to save money) I was charged $21.
Portions were generous and filled me up for the entire day! Food was DELICIOUS, couldn't get enough of the caprese salad. Next time I need to stay for coffee and desserts.
Fun atmosphere. Nice garden. Great food. Good vibes.
Moderate service and food. Nothing special. Nothing above and beyond.
Service was great, drinks were great and food was delicious. We loved it.
The food was delicious! Highly recommend
We enjoy going to Gnocco for the excellent food. It is as close as you can get to the real thing and the variety of different pasta dishes is great! We will continue to go back.
Food not great for the price. Insipid and not good
Date! Night many times
Our server was so sweet, fun and attentive! The mojitos were some of the best I’ve ever had. The outdoor dining experience is great!
Was a great atmosphere, it was just loud enough so that you could chat and enjoy the presence of everyone in the restaurant.
I thought the food was good. The servers were a bit slow but overall a good experience
Gnocco is always a reliable, good-quality, authentic italian restaurant we happen to go back to from time to time. Their gnocco fritto is really good: it gives the name to the place, so you should definetely try it.
First time there. Sat outside, great table with overhead heater. Nice size martini pour. Friendly prompt service. We could hear each other talk! Quiet street location. I’d go back.
We sat in the street, which was noisy, but we had a wonderful meal.
Everything was delicious and the service superb!
Nice atmosphere and great food
Very nice dinner in the garden. Had to use the heater. They were very helpful in putting it on.
Pizza was extremely soggy
Not impressed, would not recommend. Food mediocre. There much better places to have Italian food at then here.
REALLY GOOD PIZZA. tasted like the pizza you get in italy
Great place, very good food, great authentic pizza
