   Service is lacking. Server didn’t greet us and wasn’t friendly in the beginning. He warmed up after awhile but mostly because my husband and I are pretty easy going and friendly. Table next to us left after being sat and not being attended after about 15 minutes. Food is OK it’s nothing out of this world just average. The place is aesthetically beautiful but really loud with the music. It’s a one and done but nothing to come back for. Don’t see this place lasting very long unless things change.

   The place is beautiful. I love the fact that you are served champagne while waiting to be seated. We had to wait for 45 minutes even with reservation. The ambiance is nice but it turns to be super noisy because there is just too many people in the restaurant. Therefore, the wait time for everything is just too long. The service is good and the food excellent. For a special occasion is not the best place because it is very crowded and then noisy. I’d definitely try it another time that is not Friday night. I’d like to try their brunch.

   Had a 7pm reservation and wasn’t seated until 20mins later. The ambiance was super cute and I was really excited about this experience; however, the couple we were with enjoyed their selections, but my husband and I were displeased with ours unfortunately. We ordered the Frutto Misto and the items were not freshly fried, tasted like they’d been seating under a hot lamp as did my lobster ravioli that I only had a couple of bites. My husband ordered a filet that was not prepared as requested and when sent back it was overcooked at that point. He also ordered the lobster bisque, cute presentation but lacked quality. There were a few other “misses” from our server, but we will return for another attempt as it could’ve been an “off night.”

   We had a GREAT time! The restaurant is beautiful. I really like the vibe. The cocktails were fantastic. The food is pretty good, but it was our first time, so there is much more to try. The service and management were excellent. Gabby and Brenden were rockstars. This might be my new spot.

   My friend and I celebrate our birthdays together every year. This year we wanted to try a new restaurant and Goat and Vine did not disappoint. We enjoyed everything about our meal and the restaurant.

   The service was excellent one of our drinks and sides took longer then expected and was given an extra one of each free of charge! We love eating out and have never been here before and the staff was very engaging and socializing we where very impressed and their wine and specialty cocktails were excellent. The black truffle sauce was incredible will deff be back

    Beautiful decor inside and a great covered patio that many will enjoy when it's warmer. This restaurant will transport you out of Plano while you are there. Not your typical Plano restaurant, thank goodness. A great place to unwind and enjoy a nice meal. Excellent service, attentive. I had the Pasta Alla Carbonera. Hubby had SPAGHETTI AL FORMAGGIO PARMIGIANO – San Marzano Sauce, Basil, Flambeed Whiskey in a Parmigiano Reggiano Wheel. We didn't have dessert but table near us had a dessert tower that looked delish! Will definitely be back.

    Went there to celebrate my birthday with my husband and was very glad with the choice . A friend of mine recommended it for the atmosphere and the service and both didn’t disappoint. I had the squid ink pasta which was amazing . The manager was really nice and offered free to go tiramisu for both of us when we said we’re too full . Personally I found the wine choice limiting since they only had their brand wine but nonetheless it was ok for dinner . Definitely will again visit again this location or the new one in Allen that Brenden said will open soon.

    The Lobster bisque was at room temperature. My salmon, potatoes, and asparagus were all incredibly over-salted. The server was great, though.

    They must be short-staffed. Our waiter was very apologetic and offered a free drink. We waited almost 30 minutes before our meal came. The food we got was good but frankly, overpriced. So, not sure if we will return.

    The manager made us feel very welcomed. Our server Eddie was very attentive. The sea bass was flaky and the ribeye was well seasoned. The Merlot/Cab blend is definitely a must try. The wine club is also worth checking out.

    Great food! Lovely aesthetic. Great service, however we went on New Year’s Day and the bar was pretty backed up so drinks took a while (not the bartenders fault - I believe they were short staffed). Hoping this place sticks around. The last bar in this location was short lived.

    The food and service was excellent. A perfect place to celebrate New Year's Eve with family. We will be back. The tableside pasta was amazing! And make sure to get the baked goat cheese appetizer- YUM!!!

    So excited to have this nice of a restaurant so close in the neighborhood. Food was amazing. I had the Chilean Sea Bass my husband had the Salmon. Cooked perfectly. Ambiance is so nice we will definitely come for a happy hour. The appetizers were great as well.

    Had such an amazing experience at our first time at Goat & Vine! The service, ambiance, decor & food were all delightful! Definitely a must try in Plano. Multiple table touches from the managers was a great touch. Highly recommended the fried zucchini appetizer & the sea bass.

    A neighborhood gem! Went for NY Eve dinner after looking on Open Table for our "usual" place, which was booked solid. Our lucky evening indeed b/c we found a new fav! Dress is casual. Our server, Jennifer, was outstanding in every way! She made excellent dinner suggestions: the grilled salmon was perfect; better than what we've enjoyed at Perry's (which says a lot) and the cacio e pepe with truffle sauce was superb. Jennifer told us about their boutique Napa wine offerings and suggested a light and wonderful pinot noir. They have been open since 8/22 and this was our first visit, but not our last.

    Very disappointing. Lobster bisque must be out of a can. Crispy Brussels sprouts were syrupy and over tart. Table bread tasted stale. Service was the opposite of attentive. Had to beg for bread, water, refill of water, second martini and for the check.

    This place is a hidden gem! Reminds me of a modern day speak easy. Beautifully decorated w plush seating, upscale decor. Large patio. Great variety on the menu and lots of specialty drinks. Don’t miss the dessert menu, we had the dessert tower, everything was excellent. Check their brunch menu too, that’s my next visit! Unfortunately our server was terrible, hoping for better on our next go round

    Food is excellent with huge portions. They should sell the goat cheese balls by the piece. There were only 2 of us and we ordered for an app - the app contained 6 huge balls, so we were unable to finish. The 1 downside of the meal was the waiter we had -- he did not bring the bisque prior to our entrees and then breezed in AFTER our entrees were served (like nothing was wrong) and expected to deliver the soup like there was nothing wrong -- I was already eating my entree. I had to tell him that I no longer wanted the soup -- Like I was in the wrong and just changed my mind. The soup should have never been brought out once I received my entree -- it was their mistake!

    It was my third time dining here. All their dishes are superb. The hostess on the other hand was disappointing on my last visit. We were seated at a table 20 mins after our reservation. They made a table ready in front of our eyes, but had us wait for 20 mins. I do not understand what the wait was for.

    I had dinner with a friend for the holidays. The positive - the atmosphere is very nice although it is loud; someone who I guess was the manager walks around and checks on diners, he's very nice and obviously interested in making sure his guests are happy; and the food is very good. The portions of the Goat and Vine salad and octopus appetizer are more than generous and both were delicious. On the downside - my friend got the eggplant parmesan entree and although she said it was good, it was barely an appetizer size, much less an entree. The biggest downside to the meal was our waitperson. There were long gaps in time to get our drinks and order dinner. He barely checked during the meal, and never brought the bread he mentioned when we first sat down. We had to ask late in the meal and someone else, who was very helpful, finally brought it to us after we already had finished dinner. She was very prompt in getting us to go containers and asking if we needed anything. The waitperson was most attentive when he was waiting for us to pay. He came more times to check on the bill than during the entire dinner. The manager had asked about the service early on but we didn't realize what a problem it was until later. And although I would have called him over after the meal, my friend did not want to do that. This could be a 5-star restaurant but only if they ensure all employees are providing the same level of excellent service. I would only recommend the restaurant with caveats.

    Love this place. Beautiful and very sophisticated for Plano. Manager came and talked to us and very appreciated. As an interior designer I was impressed but the music was totally and completely wrong and too loud. It was cold evening and they do not have weather break and when the door opened it brought it very cold air. Simple fix. Also, wines were wonderful. Looking forward to sprint and summer for outdoor seating. Keep it up. Joyce

    Great to find a place with some nice atmosphere to go with good food. The lobster ravioli was great, the kale salad even better. Big portions though so order with care of plan to take some home! Didn’t have any wine on this trip, looking forward to going again. This is a good place for dates, special occasions or a good place to take clients.

    Beautiful venue, with a terrific wait staff. Most of the food was well-prepared but the Trio of Medallions definitely was not USDA Prime beef. It must be dramatically improved or removed from the menu.

    We loved the baked goat cheese! Chicken parm was great too. But the steak was overpriced for what it was. If I’m paying that much for a steak, in Texas, I want to be awed. It was nothing to write home about. The service was great and the drinks were delicious too! But I’d say I sure hope they aren’t pricing themselves out of the local market.
