Since its grand opening in November 2017, Gordon Ramsay Steak has quickly become a staple in Baltimore's fine-dining restaurant scene.     Food quality wasn’t great lobster tail was very dry and tough. Waitress was not attentive and kept forgetting to bring items and took too long to come back to the table. That was my first and last visit I was not impressed!

    We have been going to Gordon Ramsay since it opened. It fell down in quality of food for a good bit and last night was the best dinner we’ve ever had there in probably one of the best dinners I’ve had in many many years. The service was excellent. Excellent. Our server is top notch, and the food was outstanding.

    It was a better experience than I thought possible. I am glad i didnt do an addition to my waygu steak other than the fully loaded baked potato(which was huge and tastey). The wine suggestion worked great with my steak. Everything was top notch.

    We went to dinner after the Raven's football game. Very few people there when we arrived, but I gave the greeters my reservation name, and we were seated at the bar. Greeted by the bar people nicely and professionally. We got our drinks very promptly. We ordered appetizers, and they came out slowly, especially because of the place being empty. But they were delicious, as usual. We then ordered dinner...again slowly again delicious. Once we finished, we both ordered food to take home. Here is where to problems really began. "We are not a take out restaurant" the barman scoffed. If you want to take something home, you must package it yourselves." Well, we have eaten in many of the finest restaurants in the world and NEVER heard that before. OK that's their policy so we had the choice to suck up their bad business decision or not. We placed ordered because our loved ones are entitled to to the nice foods we enjoy. Forty five minutes later, and once again in a non busy restaurant, nothing. We asked the bartender to check the kitchen and he came back empty handed. "Just a few more minutes". Ten minutes later we left, no food and very little tip. So, Gordon needs to get to this restaurant bearing his name and fire the kitchen staff up. We will come back, but the idea of bringing food out is out the window. Their loss.

    We went to Gordon Ramsay steak with high expectations and we were not let down! The beef Wellington and sea bass were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. It left us speechless. The staff made us feel welcome and they were all friendly and attentive. Our only regrets are that we didn’t try the restaurant sooner. We’ve recommended it to many of our friends and family. Thank you!

    Absolutely AMAZING experience for my first time there. Our waitress (I can’t remember her name but I know it started with an N) went above and beyond, the general manager went above and beyond. The food was fantastic, extremely flavorful and perfect temperature for the steak we ordered. I took my boyfriend there for his birthday and there was a candle and flowers on the table, and he even got a signed card from Gordon which was not expected and was a spectacular surprise for him!! Price was actually fantastic- we spent a little over $200 for 2 entrees, 2 sides (which are big enough to share for 2 people), a bottle of moscato and a dessert. I was extremely impressed, which was to be expected considering it was a Gordon Ramsay Steakhouse, but the service was just phenomenal. We will definitely return in the future!!

    Both the food and the service were great! This was our second visit to the Baltimore Gordon Ramsay Steak location. Nyara took good care of us on both of our visits. Prior to our first visit to the Baltimore location in December, we had been to all of the Gordon Ramsay restaurants in Las Vegas multiple times. The Baltimore location is much easier to get a reservation to, and it's much quieter overall. We'll be back again!

    The ambience is romantic. Despite being inside next to the casino there is no high level of noise, and it actually makes it convenient to play/eat/play or eat/play if you are there for the casino. The casino is an entirely different issue - don't plan to ever visit the casino again (trust the reviews on payouts). I love to dress up when I go out to nice restaurants, but most people don't as I assume they think of the casino aspect. Waiters are excellent and food is excellent. The drinks, in my opinion are weak and a little over priced.

    Inviting decor. Fine British-American dining. Welcoming atmosphere. Service (I wish I could remember our waitresses name) was absolutely top notch. She knew the menu to a T. And was able to lead us in the direction of what we were looking for our entire meal. From cocktails all the way through. She was engaging and vibrant. She couldn’t have been more accommodating. The oysters were a perfect blend of sweet and salty. A perfect start to the meal. The filet and Kansas City Strip steaks, which are dry aged for 28 days, are cooked to perfection. Flavor all the way through. The sides are larger portions for sharing. Again, delicious! Cocktails are made with care and presentation elegant. All in all, an excellent choice. You won’t regret it. Without a doubt, we will be back!

    From door to table the experience was fantastic! Staff was exceptionally friendly and informative, drinks were delicious and everything came out perfectly. The wagyu was tender and cooked to perfection, sides were divine (mac and cheese, fingerling potatoes, crab soup, raw oysters) and the Beef Wellington and Sticky Toffee Pudding definitely lived up to the hype! Absolutely wonderful evening!

    From the moment we walked in, the level of excellence was apparent. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, available yet not intrusive. Our server, Kayla, was a joy. She was efficient and attentive. Our food was amazing. My husband and I chose the preset menu with the crab cake and market salad, respectively. My husband’s crab cake, in his words, was “divine.” The market salad is quite large, and the different flavors mixed together so well. My father-in-law had the Maryland Crab Soup, and he (who is quite the picky eater) loved it! As a native Baltimorean in his eighties, he is quite particular about his crab soup, but he raved about it all night. For the man in course, m husband and I both chose the 8 oz filet. It literally melted in our mouths. The delicious loaded baked potato was huge! My husband really enjoyed the Brussel sprouts. For dessert, I chose the delicious cheesecake, while the boys had the Sticky Pudding. Both were delectable. While somewhat expensive for our budget, the experience was definitely worth every penny!

    Overall good, but next time we’ll probably go to the Capital Grill. The service was excellent, the Beef Wellington was perfectly cooked and the mashed potatoes were on point. The pork belly was interesting, the collard greens and plum sauce made the dish. The oysters on 1/2 shell were disappointing. They are the big meaty Chesapeake ons… perfect for a Rockefeller, but not great raw. And the grilled Caesar wasn’t properly cooked (it was sad and limp like it sat on a warm grill) vs being crisp and charred. The chef came out when he heard we didn’t like it and took it off our bill, which we appreciated.

    The staff were knowledgeable about the menu and welcomed us to the restaurant. The beef Wellington was extremely disappointing though, it was very mushy and soggy. Also, they forgot to bring out the shrimp with my filet so I had to wait a few minutes for that to be brought out. Otherwise the ambience and the rest of the food we ordered were spectacular. I look forward to going back again (but definitely will not be ordering the Wellington again). Aw

    I Love Gordon Ramsay steak house everything was to perfection!!!!! My food was outstanding and delicious, down to my desert .My waitress Kayla was nice and very professional. The restaurant was clean, bathroom was clean, tables was clean. If I could give a 20+ rating I would. Chef Ramsay Great job well done sir. Oh and I can’t forget how friendly and nice all the staff was and kids friendly.They all came and to greet my baby and even other customers that was seated next to me on both sides, we even was talking having fun amongst our selfs.

    Giving our dinner experience 4/5 stars. The appetizer and dessert were absolutely incredible! We had the crab cake which was a little pricey but definitely worth it (it was well-seasoned, loaded with quality crab meat, and accompanied by a refreshing slaw). For dessert we shared the peanut butter bar and it was a great way to end our meal, sweet and indulgent but not over the top. The one thing that was weird was the scoop of ice cream that came with it which finally wasn’t very flavorful and didn’t add much to the dish. As for the steaks, the house specialty, they were very good but admittedly not the quality we would expect from a Ramsay restaurant. I had the NY strip and my girlfriend had the filet mignon. Both steaks were seasoned very well, were quite juicy, and had a solid crust from the pan sear. Where they lose some points was in the temperature of the steaks. Both were ordered medium rare and the filet was slightly over. The NY strip was cooked to a perfect internal temp but was charred at one end (cooked beyond a good crust). To be fair, the steaks were still excellent and far better than what you’d get at most “nice” steakhouses; however, the quality of the food compared to HK in DC which we’ve been to a couple of times, just didn’t quite match up. Lastly, it’s worth noting that the service was spectacular and definitely on par with what we’ve come to expect from Gordon’s restaurants. 10/10 would recommend going once for the experience but I think we’ll stick to HK in the future.

    The Gordon Ramsay Steak- Horseshoe delivered exceptional service, delicious food and a romantic ambiance for date night with my husband. I'm not very adventurous, so I stick to what's comforting. I started with my usual crab cake. We are from Maryland and the crab cake was good. My husband had the Berkshire pork belly and he enjoyed it. The Salmon is my go-to and it was prepared beautifully. I love roasted corn and enjoyed every bite. My husband had the best tasting beef wellington. I don't usually eat steak, but I tasted his wellington and it was like a party in mouth. I will request the beef wellington next visit. Overall, it was a great experience and we will be back again soon. BTW.. The hostess was friendly and complimented my outfit, the waiter and assistant explained the menu, described everything that came to our table and the manager made sure we felt extra important. Thank you to all with whom we interacted.

    The food was good to really good, but not great, at least not for the price. The main course should have come with an additional side to be considered more of a complete plate. The price point for dinner for one plus a child's menu option should be closer to $120 all in and not more than $160 in my opinion. I paid $130 all in at Del Monico's in New York about a year and half ago with similar menu options including a child's portion and shared desert, and that was with a more generous tip. However, since this one of the few times in my life I will be near a Gordon Ramsay Steak, I was happy to pay the slightly higher price. If I lived around one of these restaurants though, this would not make it into my typical rotation, even for special occasions, unfortunately. The food would need to be spectacular to justify this price in my opinion, and it just wasn't. So, I would recommend it to a friend but would warn them that their mileage may because of the expense.

    Excellent!!! I like this store, and the staff's service was excellent. We ordered prime beef(New York Strip), Roasted Beef Wellington, Gordon Ramsay's sticky toffee pudding with ice cream, and kids' meal.
