Grafton Street Pub and Grill
Ploughmans plate was good, wings under seasoned...no sauce? Chowder was good but tepid at best. Burgers good....chopped salad bland. Dessert was also good. $200 for 4 ppl with cocktails. The Pinot tasted “fuzzy”....service was excellent! If the food was better, I would go back.
The Grafton Street Pub and Grill has various nooks and corners where one can dine comfortably and away from the louder area near the bar. It was a genuinely pleasant experience.
Great service for a large group.
Always our go to place when we are in the area for dinner. Energetic atmosphere and great options for everyone!
Sitting at the bar with an awesome thanksgiving meal, mulled wine, football and the local crowd at the bar has become our new holiday tradition.
Food was mediocre and overpriced. Good ambiance and service.
We really enjoyed our first visit here. Most everything was excellent, with the exception of the grain bowl; it definitely could use more pizzazz. Our waiter was friendly and accommodating.
Nice brunch options. The eggs Benedict was ok.
Dinner prior to a performance at the Schubert theater
The food was excellent. I particularly like your burgers. And the wait staff were very friendly and attentive.
Solid place with good service. Food was very good but nothing really stood out. Menu is somewhat limited so probably better for drinks and appetizers than dinner.
we stopped in while in Harvard Square and had a very nice light dinner. Ambiance was cozy and the food was good. would definitely go back.
Specifically asked for no bacon on salad. Came with bacon. Also tomatoes, which I cannot eat and which were not listed on menu as an ingredient. Waiter never came back to ask how things were so no opportunity to get it fixed. Disappointed
We really like Grafton Pub - the cocktails and beer selection are great as are the mussels. The tuna tartare is too salty for my taste but a little bit to share works well. Service is excellent!
Always a great time at Grafton!
Great atmosphere paired with excellent service and cuisine.
Menu was limited and service was ok. I had requested a quiet table and they put us in the middle of the floor.
Grafton Street has been and continues to be a satisfactory but somewhat unexciting dining option in Harvard Square. Good place to meet, eat and drink but nothing particularly special about it
food was good, but service was not - waitress was hard to get and never would check on us - but other then that it was good and I will be back
I eat at Grafton Street about 6-times a year. Last Sunday I ordered the Shepherd's Pie for a change and was very disappointed. Menu cited ground lamb, pearl onions, peas, and carrots. What came was about an inch of mashed potatoes on top of what could only be described as an inch of baby food. A ground meat mush. I did spy one or two peas, but beyond that, mush.
Very NOT recommended. The other food I've eaten there has been much better.
Overall we were seated right away. Our waitress was attentive without being annoying and our food and drinks came out quickly. We both got the steak and it was delicious and cooked to our specifications. The pricing is comparable with the area. Not cheap but reasonable considering the area.
The food was ok....woman at the front in charge of sitting people was beyond rude! Whatever she was going through...her manager needs to teach her to never take it out on a customer, especially when all they did is ask if their table was ready....reason enough never to go back........
The restaurant has free parking at the church across the street for guests with confirmed reservations. However, if you park at the church you need to be sure the restaurant gives you a parking pass for your windshield. It was my first time dining here and when I walked in with my group I gave my name and told the hostess I was parked at the church, (based on what I read on the restaurant website) and if that was still the proper place to park. She replied, “Yes, are all set” and had us seated. Well my car got towed. 😑
Luckily the restaurant couldn’t have handled the situation any better. The manager, Morgan called the tow company and handed me cash to cover the costs of the tow and later Venmoed me for the cost of my Uber to the tow company. He also covered a round of drinks from our bill.
The food was good and the local beer selection was commendable. I will definitely be back.
Our table was ready at the time we requested. It was in a corner of the restaurant where we could easily converse. Food and drink were very good and service was excellent.
The staff was truly accommodating! We had two disabled members of our party and they gave us a booth in the rear that accommodated my son's wheelchair and had space to store my mom's walker. The service was great as was the food. Highly recommend!
Our server was very attentive and helpful. As people who don’t eat red meat and have a couple food allergies, we found the menu pretty limiting. It’s a fun location with a mix of students and other adult customers.
The waitstaff took impeccable care of our party of 7. I also left an envelope at the table mistakenly and the waitress called me when I was only a block away to alert me that I had left a check at the restaurant. When I returned I realized it was only an envelope from concert tickets. Nonetheless, the waitress did hesitate to notify me immediately.
The food was beautifully presented in a timely manner and was scrumptious!! Such a great place with the large windows open in the front as well.
A fun and crowded Friday night out on the patio. Food and drinks were quite good.
Didnt have available a particular wine on menu, or a good substitute for it. Service was very spotty this time
I’ve been to Grafton a few times and I love the food and drinks. This time, I ordered the burger and it was amazing. We had to wait almost an hour for our food to be served, but it was worth it. Our waiter was not the greatest, however service is normally good.
Food was delicious . Waitress provided very spotty service. Loved sitting outsidr
Very good food and a pleasant atmosphere
A nice spot to get to when your in Harvard square, love the little charm on the outdoor seating and the updates decore in the restaurant. Such a great selection of oysters. Pizza really was amazing pulled pork for the win!
Surprise bday for my pop!
Went for brunch with friends. All the signature cocktails were delicious and all the food was cooked perfectly. A perfectly poached egg is the sign of an excellent brunch place!
Even with a party of 8, Christian as usual, provided excellent service, which is why we generally ask for him. He’s always very attentive even when he’s got multiple tables around us, and that evening was no exception.
The food and the atmosphere was great as usual. Thanks again for a great dinner, especially while we had family visiting.
Ate outside with family, friends and dog. Perfect.
The Grafton Street Pub and Grill is my go-to place when I attend shows at the ART's Oberon Theater, just a block away. If it's a lovely day, you can sit outside. In the many times I've been there, it's been quiet enough for normal conversation even when the restaurant is busy. The service is always attentive and they make sure we're out the door in time for our show. My dinner/theater partners and I can recommend the ricotta gnocchi (appetizer or entree portion), the burger, the fish fry, and the ploughman's cheese and meat board. For Cambridge, the drinks are very reasonably priced as well. AND Grafton offers free parking just a block away. Highly recommend.
Service was very good and Harvard Square ambiance very nice. There is street seating which is fun. Food is ok - not amazing but not bad either.
Lovely day to be seated outdoors. Food was good, as usual.
