   After eating at the Plaza location over the years, we were excited to try the new restaurant in our area. It was not a great experience. Service was slow, the food was kind of a elevated not good bar food, and the noise level was insane. I don’t mind loud restaurants, but this was crazy loud. Some acoustic tiles in the ceiling might help a bit. Overall, the experience was.poor and we will not be back. We did not complain to management as we knew we would not be returning.

Our menus are the same and we tried to keep the upscale sleek modern decor with superior service. We honestly do not get complaints regarding our noise level and most people you can see rate it quiet to moderate. It appears this restaurant just isn't to your personal liking and hope you will continue to visit us on the County Club Plaza.

   We went to connect with friends we had not seen in a long time. Seating was prompt and very comfortable. We had an absolutely fantadtic experience. We had great happy hour food and beverages and service.

    We had to wait 30 minutes after our reservation. We arrived before others who had the same reservation time and yet they were seated ahead of us. The excuse for the wait was due to Open Table double booking the restaurant. But that doesn’t excuse people who showed up on time not being seating ahead of the later comers. We weren’t offered anything for our patience. Drink from the bar, small discount, etc. One man arrived, became angry, made a scene and left. The hostess said the restaurant didn’t need his business. The food was ok. Not worth the price. Service was fine. It was a date night for us and I’m glad I didn’t get my hopes up. I would’ve been disappointed.

    45 minute wait even with a reservation, people with later reservations seated before us ( party of four and table seating 4) apparently over rode my reservation for two. Walk in was seated at the same time as us. Food was blah, service was good once we got seated.

    We made a Valentine's Day reservation, and honestly didn't expect much, with previous experiences at other restaurants on this holiday. However, we very much enjoyed our meal, and also enjoyed the fact that we didn't have to shout to hear each other. We did have a minor issue with one of the deserts, but, like you would expect at a good restaurant, they took care of it. I would definitely recommend for holiday dining, or any other day for that matter.

    Excellent in every aspect. Every employee hustled and assisted each other. Food was incredible! It was a little noisy for our anniversary dinner but we were seated close to the bar 2 days before the Chief’s Super Bowl🥳🏈🥳

    Came for the Grand Street Bar for dessert and told it was discontinued. My daughter's steak had a hair in it. Service was very slow- drinks, appetizer, dinner- it all took twice as long as it should have. Ordered before several tables around us but they got food first. Used to really look forward to this place.

    We had a Five Star dinner, dessert and drinks at Grand Street Cafe in Lenexa Kansas. Our server, Song, went above and beyond. She was fun and very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. She made sure we were having a good experience for my husband's Birthday and we loved her energy! The food was amazing and we also enjoyed after dinner drinks at the bar downstairs.     It has been a long while since I ate at Grand Street. Food was delicious. Service was friendly and kind although slow. We ordered wine at first greeting with server. We did not have wine brought to table for a good 15-20 min. We went for the start of KC restaurant week, RW. A person in our party ordered off the RW menu. Her salad came at the same time as her entree. Food was delicious. Our table had fried brussels, Chkn Picatta, shrimp Capenelli (sp) off the RW menu, a Salmon salad, and Creme brulee & choc brownie in puff pastry for dessert. All was delicious!! A thing that bothered me about this restaurant & the plaza location is the tables and chairs are SO CRAMMED in there. To get up and go to the restroom you have to try to scoot between other tables and chairs. Not fun for anyone. Ambiance otherwise is nice. Lighting is a tad too dark but the restaurant is beautiful for being in the 1st floor of an office building. All in all the evening was enjoyable. I will go again.

    Easy parking, beautifully appointed interior. We enjoyed the bread service as an appetizer - wow, just wow! Our dinners were tasty (halibut and a pasta dish both on the evening’s specials), and the chocolate mousse layered cake was just what we needed.
