   Fantastic evening. My father’s birthday and they made it so special. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the extra touches in making him feel so regal. The food was a home run.

   Best dinner we have had in quite awhile. Colorado Lamb is the best I’ve ever had. Fair price for that level of quality.

   The lighting was a touch too dark. The food was okay. I have been a few times and still haven’t found anything that really stands out to me. The server was short with us and had to be prompted for specials.

   It was okay. As a waiter every higher end place I've worked at for a birthday they give the person something, not here. The smoked salmon we had for an appetizer was hidden under greens, had to dig for it.

   Food and ambience was very good. But unfortunately, our waiter was anything but friendly. He seemed to be put out with everything and maybe not a good career for him. We spent a lot of money for a table of five so you expect good service and a memorable experience. I have had dinner at this location in the past and had an excellent experience. Too bad, not this visit and the people I was with walked away with memories of the bad attitude of our waiter. I did report our disappointment to the the Maitre d. The food was excellent and the rest of the staff was great.

   Beautiful restaurant in Creve Coeur. Food was amazing. We had a large business group, you could see that our server, Michael, was well trained. Just booked another group. Thank you IL Bel Lago!

   This was our second time trying dinner at Il Bel Lago. The first time was Valentine’s Day and it was OK but not special. Given the convenient location we decided to give it a second try. I ordered burrata salad with fig and prosciutto over arugula and the entrée lobster ravioli. My husband ordered a Caesar salad and tortellini. As with our previous experience, the salad was very overdressed. I had asked about this when ordering my salad and mentioned this to the waiter in case we should get the dressing on the side. It looked beautiful and had a tasty Parmesan crip but my husband cannot eat more than a few bites. I’d ask for the dressing on the side in the future . My burrata came out with pesto and tomatoes and when I asked the waiter where the figs were he told me they were on there repeatedly and I told him repeatedly no they’re not. Or I don’t see any. After leaning over my salad, he was not able to see any figs either. The low lighting did make seeing the food a little challenging. He went back to the kitchen who told him they were out of figs. I guess they just decided to do a substitution without asking if that was what I actually wanted. Was still good, but just not what I expected. The lobster ravioli was amazing. Instead of the appetizer size I asked for dinner size which I didn’t know included shrimp scallops, and maybe clams. The sauce was incredible. It was a really good dish. My husband’s tortellini was really delicious as well. The service was mixed; the waiter seemed hurried and abrupt, however the folks that ran the food and cleared the tables were pleasant. We observed the maître d’ enthusiastically greeted other guests who we thought were possibly long-term patrons. With us he was lukewarm never stopped back by our table that we observed him do that with multiple other tables. Just not a place we feel welcome so we would not return to dine in but the pasta is worthy of takeout!

    We came in for our annual girl’s night. Had a table for 12 in a private area, our server was extremely knowledgeable of the menu and was very kind! We were a lot to handle so he did very well. Will definitely be back! Can’t wait to try the special next time!

    My favorite thing to order out is Veal Saltimbocca. It’s such a hard dish to nail. This was by far the BEST Saltimbocca I’ve ever had. It was so thin, so tender, and so perfect. The lobster app was unbelievable. Service was phenomenal from seating to check out.Great wine list as well.can’t wait to come back!!!

    We thought the restaurant was clean and the food was good. My husband had the tortellini and I had the fusilli pastas. They were served in bowls. My bowl was filled but my husband was only served what seemed to be a half bowl. For the money, we both were surprised by his portion size. The waiter was nice but was being a little to familiar for my liking. He touched my shoulder when he was pushing the desserts. He wanted me to order something but I am a borderline diabetic and had enough with the pasta dish. Even when I said that he kept pushing and brought me a fork to eat some of my husband's.

    I had a wonderful dining experience! The staff were cordial, professional and they greeted you with a smile. The food and the dessert was delicious. The ambiance was exceptional and quite enjoyable! Hats off to the owner and the entire staff! I actually referred several people there today and I will definitely be back!

    From the start, it took seconds to be seated and offered water. Our server was also fast and readily available. It took minimal time to get our food and drinks after ordering. Food, drinks and dessert were tasty and served at the right temperatures. Will definitely go back there.

    The service was very fast and the food was really good. However, we felt the waiter was rushing us all the time, he tried to take our plates from the table when we were not even done eating. It was my birthday celebration and we brought a cake. When the waiter brought it to the table, he did not ask if we wanted to slice it already and he did and we did not get to sing happy birthday with the cake. We asked for separate checks at the beginning and he said it was okay. He never mentioned or added the 20% of tips to the checks. He assumed we knew it was a 20% minimum. Not all customers tipped 20% because they did not know there was a minimum for large parties. When he brought the checks he claim to us that he was not going to accept less than 20% of the tips. He also said that it all needed to be in one check for the table when he clearly said we could do separate checks. He got rude at the end of the night and was demanding the 20% of the tips when he clearly did not deserve it because we did not like the service he gave us.

    Although the host did not greet me pleasantly, the waitress was great. She explained the specials to us and answered all my questions. The lunch crowd was full and the room looked awesome. The veal was perfection and also the pasta marinara. I enjoy my lunch with a girlfriend and would love to go back to try other menu items. Highly recommended!
