It was our last dinner in Seattle and the waiter was rude. Very impatient when ordering. Was not helpful, and seemed annoyed that I asked questions about drinks. We were the first and only customers at that time. Then when I ordered, I stated I had asked for pepperoni only on my pizza. He slapped his leg in aggravation stating that’s what I ordered. Then later my wife asks for a Diet Coke and he finally brought it 10 min later when we had already finished. We have had nothing but the best service while we have been here, until this one.

The food was very average. Duck breast was a bit tough and not very well seasoned. The waiter was OK but missed some things. I would say the experience was OK overall but it would not be my restaurant of choice next time

Their clam linguine and antipasti plate is sooo good, but the drink menu is next level! This is our go to spot when seeing a concert at the Showbox, especially sitting outside... it's like fine dining with a bit of grunge.

Although food was very good, portion size was enough to feed family of 4 and looked ugly on plate. Sever started off very good, but became overbearing by approaching table every few minutes even when told to give 15 mins for desert, was back in less than 2mins and again 2mins later. I asked for brandy and coffee and was given ouzo, not quite the same. Metaxa do not make ouzo as was suggested.

The restaurant is dark. The service was good. The menu is limited… no typical dishes like pasta with marinara or eggplant Parmesan. The calamari was tough … like a thick rubber band.

Il Bistro has been around for decades for good reason. The food is delicious and consistent, service is attentive without being intrusive, and the space is lovely. It’s one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle.

Nice atmosphere and good service. Some of food disappointing. I had the salmon special which came with fregola. Half of fregola was stone cold, half warm.. dry and not very tasty and certainly not worth $46! Waitress changed it immediately, but Ragu replacement was very average.

I have been going to this restaurant for at least 30 years. It is in a lovely setting in the pike place market. I’ve had many romantic meals here with my wife. Unfortunately, the restaurant has changed. It appears to be catering to the tourist crowd who are unappealing at best. The food is good but not great and the service is not what it used to be. I’m not sure I’ll go back

AMAZING! Our reservation was initially for outdoor dining, but the hostess kindly gave us the option to change that due to weather. We went for a date night and were seated in such a nice, romantic spot. Food was spectacular - arancini is a MUST. Special thank you to our server, Jackie, for a great evening!

Beautiful space, delicious food, impeccable service. They checked even checked if we had to be out by a certain time and they had our food our really fast. The bolognese was phenomenal and great cocktails as well.

Disappointing! This was one of our favorite Happy Hour spots pre-Covid. The bar staff lacked the old character and the food was absolutely awful. Service was good but that doesn't fix the experience.

The food is great, but it is so dark in there that we watched every table around us pull out cell phones to use as flashlights on the menu. And then one of our party had to leave early because after a long day at work, and now a full belly, sitting in the dark he was starting to doze off. Bring your appetite and a flashlight.

Simply put, the food was horrible, but everything else was very good. The antipasti was a joke, 1 small piece of cheese, no good cold cuts, pickled string beans, and a few nuts and apple… really??? The short ribs were COLD, not warm but cold and un-edible. In my dish, pasta with clams, 6 real clams, the rest were canned. The food was luke warm. $212+ tip and the food was just poorly prepared and of poor quality. We were very very disappointed

It was really great. We loved the atmosphere. It’s cozy but also quiet despite being pretty full. Service and food were both really great. I highly recommend the Arancini appetizer and beef short ribs. Thanks also to the wine expert for recommending a great bottle. He was great about not just pushing something expensive.

It was our first time going there, and it was so lovely! I don’t remember our server’s name but it was 9pm on Saturday, the the 18th and we were seated at table 5. He was kind, attentive and had a great attitude! We will be back.
