Outstanding food. Outstanding service. Outstanding all the way around. Can not say enough good things about this wonderful gem!!

Disappointed we were not seated in the atrium. Upstairs has NO ATMOSPHERE at all.
I know it has been difficult for restaurants this past year, but our dining experience did not meet the mark as it usually does.

The service was wonderful and very professional. The food was great; I great enjoyed my main course, which was one of their fish specialities! This is my third time dining there and I plan on visiting there again soon!

We have grill octopus and veal meatballs for appetizer. the grill octopus was a bit cold - I would prefer this is cooked upon order and not pre-made. The veal meatballs are nicely done, very light which is rare for the meatballs so it's actually a healthy choice. Great pasta - home-made fettuccine and nice cavatelli. They also offer arrancino rice balls as a complimentary starter and biscotti afterwards. When we went, they haven't got their liquor license back yet. The indoor dining was nice in such a cold day. Proper distance between tables, 6 feet or above. I would wish they sanitize the chairs between guests. Very nice service. Overall, we enjoy it and will come back.

Very intimate and beautiful restaurant.

Came here with my partner on Valentine’s Day. The staff was extremely friendly and made us feel special. The food was incredible and the atmosphere was enchanting.

The staff is wonderful, knowledgeable, welcoming and very pleasant. We ordered the grilled octopus salad appetizer which was our favorite dish of the night! The octopus was cooked to perfection! The lobster risotto was underwhelming, barely had any lobster in it. The seafood pasta dish my boyfriend had was delicious but need more of that delicious sauce. We sat in a bare corner towards the back which could have used a plant or something to make it more aesthetically pleasing. But overall it was a great experience and we are definitely going back.

Overall, this is genuinely one of the nicest restaurants you can go to for a meal. The service is exceptional and the food is quite delicious. However, I didn't have a single bite of meal that was so extraordinary it was worth the price.

Perfectly good but now you can't close the doors and no liquor and it was really cold outside.

The outside space is very inviting. The servers are WONDERFUL. Wanting to please and most efficient. Lovely, warming food. We really enjoyed our visit.

Amazing fresh food (fresh pasta!)

The food was very good but felt over priced, even compared to their sister restaurant where I have dined frequently. But what took me by surprise was the $30 Palomas (tequila with grapefruit juice) that were no where near fancy or labor intensive. Won’t be going back.

Like the place very much;however, find some of the wines (by glass) overpriced.

Food is good but expensive. You can have better food for the price we paid. But they have heated outdoor dining area and their bathroom is above decent. So, basically we paid for the heat and clean bathroom.

The standard of food was great. Some of the best veal I have had outside of Milan. The service was excellent not to intrusive but lacking for nothing. They even called me minutes after I left to tell I had left my gloves and would hold on to them until I could pick them up. The best outside dinning experience I have had so far in New York,

This restaurant offers two outdoor options during this pandemic. Sidewalk tables in a glass enclosure with heaters, and private tables in the open air on adjacent townhouse patios/terraces. We sat on the private outdoor townhouse patios to be more socially distanced from others. Even though we were cold outdoors due to Covid 19 restrictions (and we didn’t feel safe enough to be in the almost fully covered sidewalk structure), we endured it as everything else was outstanding. The food is out of this world delicious. The servers did their best to accommodate on a particularly frigid day. The outdoor setting would be perfect on a beautiful warm day and makes for a romantic atmosphere. My only suggestion for the remainder of this NY winter is to figure out a way to add additional heaters or overhead heating to the tables on the townhouse patios. The sidewalk structure is too enclosed to feel safe from a virus that we all know could linger for hours in the air. I would consider leaving the sliding doors open and investing in more and/or stronger heaters if possible. I would also consider getting those plexiglass dividers to add an extra layer of protection between the tables in there. As for the single floor heaters on the townhouse patios — they only warm the person seated right next to them and leave the others freezing. Let me again emphasize however that the the food and overall atmosphere was perfect so I do not regret dining there despite the cold. I will definitely return again when visiting MoMA (next street over) especially in the warmer months ahead.

First time and a favorite already! First off, they did such a great job with the outdoor dining set up. Our table was on the landing of the stairs leading to the main entrance of the brownstone and it was a very European, romantic feeling. Second, attentive and impressive service, and third and most important, incredible, super tasty and fresh food.
