Excellent food and service. Great location and atmosphere. Easiest 5 star review I’ve done in a while.
Wonderful food and ambiance
This was my second time at Iron Bridge and I love everything about this place. We had great service by the whole team. The space was extremely clean and felt very safe - we were well taken care of. The food is great and fresh - I have not had anything that I haven't absolutely loved and would get again. Great cocktails and wine list. It is a special occasion spot for us. I cannot wait to bring more family and friends to Iron Bridge! Highly recommend!
Iron Bridge always delivers, even in a pandemic. Great food, good wine, fair prices, wonderful service -- what more does anyone need!!!!!
The food is always excellent and we enjoy trying different wines each time we go there.
What a gem of a restaurant! A lovely venue and absolutely incredible menu. Creative use of spices and combinations. The best scallops, brussel sprouts, we have ever had!!
Food and service was exceptional.
Great food Great service nice ambience. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner as usual.
Service, food, and ambience was top notch! First time I've tried Brussels sprouts that were delicious (and not just good for you) and the other two appetizers were awesome as well. The entree, beef stroganoff, was exquisite and though plentiful, I polished it off. Service, from start to finish, and provided by William and Tina was outstanding! Our thanks for a wonderful experience!
The outdoor dining experience was surprisingly pleasant. Food delicious as always, and the service was excellent.
Lovely evening! Very attentive service, as usual. Recommend
First time visit and we had a great time. The restaurant is much smaller than it looks from the street but that’s ok and we are very glad the food is at another level of quality and our experience was very good. Thanks.
Maris, our server, was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The steak special was great, but the beer selection (my preferred drink) was on the skimpy side. We ate out at the front tent, so noise from Rt. 108 was a bit of an issue, but we understand the situation with the need for social distancing and eating outside, so that does not play into an accurate rating. Overall it was a great experience, we're glad you decided to stay open. We're still quite cautious with going out, but our "date" to Iron Bridgewood was wonderful. Thank you!
This restaurant has always had amazing food and they are incredibly consistent. This is easily one of the best restaurants in the Baltimore and surrounding areas. We went for my wife’s birthday and the staff made it a memorable evening with great service and one great course after another.
We reserved a table outside and it was a great experience (as usual). Monday was a Steak night, a real bargain for two courses, including excellent steak. Try the delicious Watermelon Gazpacho, perfect for a warm summer night. We'll be back soon.
Excellent dinner experience! Ribeye steak was unbelievably good!
Did restaurant week special-the panzanella salad was amazing, as was the lemon lava cake. The corvina didn’t rock my world, but it was fine. This place doesn’t disappoint, and our server was excellent (can’t remember her name, unfortunately, but we were seated on the back “patio” Saturday night 25 July.) the wine is always wonderful.
The waitress was great. The food was great, too.
I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a good, relaxing experience.
We decided to have lunch here because it was my birthday (June 5) and the staff informed me that they would honor the birthday lunch/dinner. The staff was great and we plan on returning for our anniversary (Aug 3). We aren't sure what weekend yet.
First time at Iron Bridge Wine Co. LOVED it! It was Howard County Restaurant week. Went here for an anniversary dinner and everything was delicious. We are still having dreams about the brussel sprouts, probably the best vegetable we have ever had out. I got the rockfish and it was great but could have used a bigger portion. My boyfriend got the pork chop and that was great as well. The tiramisu ice cream cake was rich and delicious. Great food all around.
Always great. Food is excellent. Love the steak, best burger in town and cream brulee is totally the world's best. The service is always top notch. We love this place for a week night or a weekend date night.
I came during Howard County restaurant week where the special was a appetizer, entree and dessert for $40. Upon being seated, Michael met me and my sister and took our drink and menu orders. For the appetizer, I ordered the smoked calamari while my sister ordered the Prince Edward Island mussels. I loved both appetizers. The mussels sauce was lovely. I never had calamari other than fried. The smoked calamari was good and seasoned very well. For a drink I ordered the twisted cosmo while my sister ordered the Moscow mule. She loves her drink. I like my drink but I felt a little bamboozled because the wine glass was only filled up half way. For the entree we both ordered the pan seared scallops which were delicious. I loved the combination of the potatoes, corn and salsa verde sauce. The scallops were cooked to perfection. For dessert, I had the lemon lava cake with blueberry muffins ice cream while my sister had the Oreo cookie bread pudding. I loved the lemon lava cake. It was very good. The blueberry ice cream on top made it even better. Both being paired together made it delicious. My sister liked the Oreo bread pudding but did not think think it tasted like Oreos. Overall, I loved the establishment. The host Michael was quick and very attentive to us. I would definitely go back.
My favorite place disappointed me for the first time ever. I returned to the restaurant on July 23 with my last visit just before shutdown. My sister, niece and I (plus friends) attend the wine tastings and also go to the restaurant several times a year mainly for special occasions. We were there last night for dinner to celebrate my and my sisters birthdays. The evening started out really nicely with good service but something went terribly wrong once our entrees were put on the table. My sister unfortunately had to leave unexpectedly right after dinner was served. After that we saw a little of Katie H our server. In fact she basically stopped coming to our table. Allowing the water bottle to empty and our wine glasses to empty as well. We finally were able to get our entrée leftovers boxed after they sat there 30 minutes after we had completed our meals. Then we sat another 20 minutes without the dessert menu so when another waitress finally came over and offered we asked for dessert to go. Then it was impossible to get our check and I actually had to go to another table that was ordering to ask our waitress for our check. By the time we left we had been in the restaurant 2 1/2 hours. If it was 2 1/2 enjoyable hours that would’ve been different but that’s not what happened. To the restaurants credit they are doing an incredible job complying with Covid and the food was superb. I’m not one to complain but this was such a incredibly bad service experience from a restaurant that I’ve been a patron for years and I’ve never had a bad experience so I feel the need to make sure the very good managers and owners of this restaurant are aware. No apologies no offers to do anything for us not even a thank you.
I'm truly sorry for your experience. You're correct that something went terribly wrong. While I'm happy to be busy, on this night, we went from almost empty to full within minutes and no staff member (including the incomparable Katie H) could have handled it gracefully. We did our best, but we fell short here and for that I apologize. If you would contact me at (410)997-3456, I'd like to send you a little something to invite you back again. Sincerely, Jess Corwin AGM The Iron Bridge Wine Co.
Great service. Everything was great. Would recommend anything for exception of Calamari. The staff was wonderful with an exceptional bar service. Ordered an old fashioned and they made it exactly to my liking. Hands down best customer service I've experienced.
Dinner during Covid turned out well. Wait staff was attentive, however entrees did take a while to get out of the kitchen. That said, the quality of the dishes made it worth the wait,
As usual we were quietly pleased with the service the atmosphere and of course the food not only presentation but obviously the dish tasted great we were very pleased.
Appetizers—Brussels sprouts and a shrimp plate—wine and dessert were all excellent. Entrees not so outstanding. My friend ordered beef stroganoff. It came with curly pasta and chunks of beef with tomatoes. Very odd. My rock fish was fine but not memorable. A meal of appetizers will be my choice next time.
Excellent food and a great experience in these times. It was a rainy evening and we ate outdoors and their tents kept everything dry and comfortable. Our server was excellent and the food was excellent. Great selection of wines also. Only complaint was the potatoes in my hash were undercooked so they remade them and they were undercooked also. Otherwise it was excellent. Definitely will be back.
The service and the attention to safety were outstanding. They have tents outside now if it is more comfortable for you.The food is always great! Love this restaurant
Wow what a meal. There is not one thing I can knock them for. Mussels, scallops, and creme brûlée were fantastic. My wife got the hamburger which was excellent. Definitely coming back.
Everything was great, the outdoor dining was pleasant and pretty, very well done. It started thundering and raining with winds as we were eating but it hardly bothered us. One thing I didn’t like was having to step inside the restaurant upon arrival, even for outdoor dining. It was just for a few seconds, but I’m obviously trying to avoid indoor spaces, why make me go inside and stand very close to the hostess? Can’t they check my reservations While I wait outside?
They went above and beyond to address the COVID issues. I felt comfortable with all the procedures followed. The food was excellent, as was the service!
Our server Celine was wonderful! She helped us with wine selection and was very attentive. The food was delicious. Every server and the hostess wore masks and the tables were spread out. We felt safe.
We celebrated my wife's birthday here on a Tuesday night under Covid conditions. We reserved ahead via Open Table, initially outdoor seating but changed the day before as the heat was oppressive. They had a birthday card waiting for her at our table which was a very nice touch. They adhered to the safety standards (servers all wore masks and signs for patron to wear their mask when they leave their table). They also spaced out the tables in the dining area so everyone was at least 10ft apart, very nice. We shared a Grilled Octopus (very tender) for an appy. My wife enjoyed her Grilled Caesar Salad and Pan Seared Scallops. My Bibb Salad and Lemon Risotto with shrimp was delicious. We savored our meal with a nice bottle of NZ sauvignon blanc. I had a cake at home so we skipped dessert but our server brought us a "to go" box with a chocolate lava cake with a candle and small condiment of whipped cream to help commemorate the special occasion. Very nice touch! Thank you IB!
The wine was excellent! First time, for restaurant week and it did not disappoint. Will definitely be going back.
First time eating at the Iron Bridge Wine Company- the food was divine and the service was exceptional! Definitely enjoyed the Restaurant Week selections especially the Sea Bass.
Absolutely love this place! I sat inside and the tables were spread apart to accommodate social distancing. Everyone had masks on unless they were at their table. Food was amazing as usual, Mojo Shrimp and Brussel Sprouts are an absolute must try item!!! All the staff members were great, food was amazing and it was restaurant week so the prices were perfecto!
Food was excellent. Had the pleasure of dining during HC restaurant week. They offered their entire menu which is a plus. I had the mussels to start, and the scallops for my main. Food was great.
Love this place. Now I have a new perspective since my latest visit was during the pandemic. Our server was great - attentive and friendly. Food was excellent! Bathroom clean. Tables spaced out well outside. Enjoyed my anniversary meal!
We had an excellent time, enjoying both the rockfish and scallops for the main course, and asparagus salad and tuna tacos for appetizers. The wine choices were terrific, as were the aperitifs. The staff and kitchen were quite accommodating, as we asked to change several items, and they happily did so. Our server, Maris, was outstanding. I would go back!
