Iron Pier Crafthouse
Sushi Bar will be available mid June.
The porch upstairs was quite chilly, especially given how mild the weather was outside. The ambiance is very mediocre. I imagine during the summer when you can see the beach that it’s probably a great spot with a great view. The menu is small, but fine as the food we ordered was yummy! The sea bass special was wonderful. The Brussels sprouts and lobster bisque soup were both delicious.
Simple menu, food was excellent, service excellent as well.
We were there for a girls night out. There were five of us and they sat us at a nice corner table on the enclosed porch. I had the braised short ribs with creamy polenta and roasted root vegetables. Delicious!!They also have an extensive cocktail and beer menu.
First time here, December in Cape May. Excellent setting, food and service. Small eclectic menu but delicious!!
Loved the view, the food and company!! It was a great restaurant all around!
No Sushi and that is why we reserved a table. We were seated and waited over 10 minutes for someone to come to us for drinks. I asked for the sushi menu to speed things up as he did not come to the table with any menus.
We were told they didn't have any sushi and they stopped bringing it in the week before. We left and went back to Delaney's. Our stools were still free and the service, food and drinks were awesome the first and second time we were there in one night. LOL.
Always great customer service! And the food is delicious! Love the porch and the live music is a treat!
Great atmosphere. Porch tables are intimate with a beautiful view of Beach Ave and the beach. The food is excellent with much attention to detail. Perfect portion sizes. Service was wonderful with great recommendations and personal attention. Definitely will be back!
The staff is always accommodating. They have a wonderful craft beer assortment. The menu changes seasonally and is always creatively done. They have a great happy hour and the musicians are varied and superb!! We always feel like we are in someone’s living room when we spend time there.
We had a party of 6 and we ate at the bar.
We had a great time and the food was terrific.
We enjoyed the live music and the water view, as well as the food. The seafood chowder was amazing; the brussel sprouts were okay but overcooked (perhaps boiled before roasting?). We both had the hanger steak, which was very good. Nice selection of beers and wine, and service was attentive. Would visit again.
Waitress was very nice and porch view overlooking the beach was awesome! I felt the food was average. We both got the hanger steak with fries. Also very noisy bar area close by. But that didn’t bother me so much as the average food. I was hoping for great food because reviews are so good. Oh well, still was a nice night out.
Food was interesting and our waitress (although new) was lovely and sincere and helpful. Very much enjoyed our dining experience.
Recommended by a local and far exceeded our expectations. Loved everything about the place. Enjoyed the fabulous music of Camille. Will definitely come again!
It's the 2nd time we had dinner here, looking out over the ocean while having dinner is fabulous. The food has been awesome both time and the service perfect. I would highly recommend this place.
Creative menu, with locally sourced ingredients. All items ordered were great.
Lovely evening on the porch.
I was expecting more... the porch view was nice, but the only tables for two on the porch are hightops, which are not big enough for three tapas, plates, drinks, and water glasses. The popcorn with malt vinegar and old bay is oddly addictive. Happy hour specials are minimal - house red or white wine, red or white sangria, and a cocktail which was called “hippie juice.” Gin & tonics were $7.50 and they were heavy on the ice and light on the gin. The shrimp mac & cheese was the best of the three plates we ordered.
Great setting, nice music, good food
Wonderful service and great martinis!
Great food and location but very loud with the entertainment playing.
Always a great dining experience! First time sharing an entree and we were very pleased w the halibut. Always look forward to our return trips :))
Not enough food for the price. We have dined in other high end restaurants with a view that offer more sushi rolls and larger flat bread pizzas.
Delicious tapas and sharing plates (lobster flatbread, hummus trio, shrimp tempura roll and Mediterranean salad). Wonderful ambiance with a table looking right out onto the ocean. Great service!
Food is phenomenal. Love the Tapas menu.
Anniversary dinner. Loved every aspect of the night. The view, service, and food were all incredible. We will be back!
Good food, nice ocean view.
Food was pretty good but we thought the idea of the “tapas / sharing” menu was pretty funny as all it really meant was that a single plate containing a normal single portion per person was delivered to the table to be split up by us. I guess by that standard any restaurant could be considered tapas.
Everything was great ! Salmon was a little dry is my only feedback.
The sliders were over cooked, but the cioppino was good.
Loved the small plates to share. Food was very good
Great selection of tapas and shared plates. Choices are almost to hard to make. We decided to choose from the tapas and shared menu and had 5 dishes. Definitely would tell you to get the Kobe Sliders, mac and cheese, loli pop wings and the lobster flat bread. You cannot go wrong!
Drinks are terrific also! Service was fantastic and the view of the beach is great. Make sure you make it a point to eat here next time you are in Cape May!
Great food at this casual beach front location. The food is as wonderful as the ocean view. We dine here as often as we can.
Solid food. Interesting menu selections Short rib grilled cheese panini is excellent!! Warm and welcoming staff!!
Sitting on porch has lovely beach view. Great bar. Good food. Friendly.
Musician playing in the dining room added to the noise a table of two drunk noisy couples. Food was good but it was way to salty(crab cake, halibut special, arugula/prosciutto pizza special), to the point of being inedible. And I like salt! I will go back and give it another try because rowdy patrons are not the restaurants fault and everyone deserves a second chance.
Delicious food. Had brussels, Kobe sliders and lobster flat bread. Wasn't a big fan of the lobster flat bread. Expected more of a shredded lobster with cheese and spices. Service was excellent. Thanks Laura!
The staff at Iron Pier was extremely friendly and accommodating, switching us to a water view table at our request. The portions were more than generous and the food was delicious. Also, the wine was excellent, particularly the rose I ordered.
Great food, Service was very good a nice atmosphere right across from the beach. I would recommend it to friends
