   Rated low due to low staff levels trying to keep up with busy restaurant. Food good but was served incorrect wine (don't think they thought we'd notice) after asking for two of same. One served at bar and incorrect at table- I think they ran out. Didn't fuss as staff was trying their best. Lady greeting us at front door looked bored and didn't want to be there.

   The food was divine and cocktails delicious! we looked at the menu online and decided what we wanted but when we got there, both the things we had chosen were no longer on the menu. We asked if we were still able to order them and they accommodated the request with no problem! The pork belly melted in my mouth. And my partners steak was cooked to perfection. Only minor complaint was that there was only one person at the bar taking both food and drink orders so it took a while to order but all in all, lovely experience and I would definitely go back.

   We arrived at 630, ordered not long after - was quite busy at that time . it took an hour to get an entree ( after we asked where it was ). We had to leave at 745 as had a show to get to st 8. By that time there were very few people left in the restaurant but still no main course despite asking . Staff were kind enough to give us a full refund though

   Staff didn’t seem to know their products, procedures or anything about customer service. They were all unsure of to do anything - like it was everyone’s first shift 🤷‍♀️ Returned the next night for a quick drink (due to proximity) prior to a show and was declined service due to being ‘fully booked’ despite it being 3/4 empty - very strange and shows a lack of understanding in how to run a business Would not recommend despite the good food

   Service was very slow. Meal arrived before drinks. Plates no cleared in a timely manner. There were adequate staff and they were not busy.

    I never give reviews but last night was a very strange experience for me. I booked the table for 6:30pm, but I ended up stuck in traffic, I called ahead to tell them I was going to be late and the person on the phone seemed very confused and a bit disinterested. I don’t know what happened with the service we received last night but it was very disorganised and a bit disappointing. bartenders didn’t know what alcohol they had to serve. Cocktails had a 20 minute wait even though the restaurant wasn’t at capacity at anytime during the night. Went from table service (which we already had orders) to order at the bar (even after I told the server that we had a table) with no warning. It seemed like there was little to poor communication between co-workers. The food was excellent and well presented, but overall the experience was very underwhelming.

    Meet and greet poor. Manager clueless but food when it arrives ( if they don’t forget your dessert) is good pub food standard. Both ladies behind bar were very good.

    Very friendly and attentive staff. The meal was very quick in arriving which is a huge bonus. The music from the speakers was somewhat loud making it difficult to communicate with the waitress but other than that a fine dining experience.

    Really poor service. I had to repeatedly ask for portions of food that we’d ordered and hadn’t been served. It was hard to get the attention of waitstaff. Food was very basic for the price. Unimpressed and won’t be going back!

    Took a little while to be seated, even tho it was empty. The booking didn't seem to make a difference, but i guess this was due to it be very quiet and expected us to sit anywhere we pleased. At first we weren't told that we had to order at the bar, as the staff member simply placed cutlery on our table and left us to our own devices. I guess my only complaint was that the beer was rather flat. I was tempted to take it back, but didn't want to make a fuss. Overall the food was nice and the atmosphere was pleasant.

    I took my 88 year old mother to Ivy and Jack to eat before the opera at His Majesty's Theater. There are very few restaurants near by that offer a sit down meal. We had a share platter and desert served in a friendly manner and made it to the theatre on time. My husband and I have eaten there before when we have stayed at the Holiday Inn and would highly recommend it as a place to eat and catch up for drinks.

    We had the platter for 2 and well worth the money and was amazing. Can highly recommend the pink gin cocktail and great value at $10 Book early then you can get a booth as much better if you want to just sit and chat. Thank you Ivy and Jacks we will definitely be back !

    Customer service was non existent, especially for a Saturday night. Even when calling to book a table I experienced terrible customer service. I was directed to book online, after explaining that I was having trouble with the online booking system and it glitching. The man didn’t help me at all, or offer any advice. When we arrived, we were handed menus without the waiter saying a word or even a “hello”. He showed us our seats and walked off, not explaining that we had to order at the counter or giving us a drinks menu. The small menu I was given didn’t even apply to the time period we were there (it said until 5pm and it was 6pm already). When getting up and asking for a drinks menu, I was given the same invalid food menu. Ordering was a nightmare, I was ignored for 5 minutes while the bartender was putting things away, he could have at least said “I’ll be with you shortly” or ANYTHING else. When he finally spoke, he told me I was at the wrong till so I moved to the till he pointed to, yet he still ignored me for a further 5 mins. Even when taking my order, he was looking elsewhere and kept asking me to repeat what I said as he wasn’t listening. After paying, I asked if I have a table number and he grunted and gave me one. When I went to walk off, he told me to wait for my drinks, something he could have said in advance. The layout of the venue is so nice, and the food was good, but the customer service is so shocking and I’d never return for that exact reason. I understand why the place was empty for a Saturday.

    This is a restaurant that caters for the Holiday inn it is attached to with no silver service. It is basically a hotels restaurant that opens to the public. we were seated, waiting for our meal and eating our meal and they started laying out their breakfast settings and turning people away from that section because it was for hotels guest but never informed us we were sitting in this area.

    Lovely location and beautiful restaurant. Unfortunately didnt have any of the 4 dishes we wanted to order. Had to order something else. Food was ok but not outstanding. Service was very good. Cocktails were fab!

    Food was good, but took nearly an hour to arrive on a Friday lunchtime. Restaurant was busy, but not packed. Delayed food was on the daily specials list. Worth a visit, but not if you're in a rush.

    While the food was very good the service we received from the young lady serving our table was excellent. She was very helpful in our menu selection was cheerful and very professional in her work. I only wish all restaurant staff were that good. Our meals were reasonably priced. The only criticism we would have is the noise level was too high for our liking probably because the bar was very busy.

    Did not discover until getting home that our Entertainment discount had not been deducted correctly when second card was used. Not happy.
