Nestled in the barracks of Singapore's Dempsey Hill where the nutmeg plantations once stood tall, The Dempsey Project is a cafe and restaurant that refuses to be put in a rigid box, simply because, no matter when you walk in and who with, you are stepping into a place that feels just right. As you settle into the communal dining space inside or in one of the wicker chairs outside, The Dempsey Project vibe compels you to put your phone away and just relax. Open for breakfast, lunch, brunch, afternoon tea, light bites and dinner seven days a week, you'll find yourself navigating an ethically-sourced menu full of international delights - from the classic avo on toast to the flavourful za'atar baked eggs; from wellness-infused Ayurveda khichdi to the 9 hour slow cooked pork ribs. It doesn’t get more diverse and wholesome than this. If you’re gluten free, vegan or on a paleo diet, you will not feel marginalised because a hearty offering awaits you too. dempsey project reservation

The food is good, but there is shortage of staff. QR code can not be scanned to my phone for some reasons. It takes ages to get someone to give us water.
I like the place, but hope they can improve the services.

Food was good. They try to provide good service despite them busy and a bit short of staff due to festive period. Music was a bit too loud though nice music.
