   Poor food preparation sent 5 entree back, one 3 times and still not cooked properly. Drink prices expensive, bring back bottomless mimosas, it would have helped qual our disappointment with the food. Great staff service. Would sadly not recommend Jubans at the moment.

   When my boyfriend and I walk into Juban’s the restaurant is so beautiful. The ladies that greeted us upon arrival was super nice. The guy assisting our waitress was super friendly and helped us with our water and first round of drinks. Our waitress soon greeted us and provided warm towels. She took the order for our appetizers. We ordered the boudin dip. Which I loved! My boyfriend not so much. He stated that it was really salty. It did take awhile for our waitress to come back to order entrees. I ordered the hallelujah crab and he ordered the filet steak. I love the hallelujah crab. Omg it was delicious! My boyfriend liked the steak but his potatoes came out cold. He wasn’t happy about that. At the end of the night we had the cutest cotton candy free dessert. I will return to try out again. My boyfriend wasn’t too happy with the service. Our reservation was pretty late so that may have something to do with it. We will go back earlier to see if the experience is better.

   Only a moment wait while our reservations were checked and then we were escorted into a newly decorated section which was somewhat like a Sports Bar/Library. Bookshelves and books surrounded patrons with portraits interspersed. The portraits were people in Victorian era clothing, but the faces looked familiar. Our lead waitress confirmed the were LSU sports greats, such as Joe Burroughs and Kim Mulcahy “Photoshopped” into Victorian era clothes. My wife and I both had the “Halaulah Crab”, which was wonderful. Service was excellent, neither forgetful or overbearing. Wonderful experience!

   When you make a reservation online, check in with the hostess, get seated and are eating but then the restaurant calls you on the phone 15 mins after your scheduled reservation to see if you were making your reservation for the day when you are already checked in and eating?!? DO BETTER.

   We come to Juban’s frequently. We always have a great experience, especially concerning the food. Service is usually spot on and of course anyone can have a “off” day. Well, Friday lunch was the off day. It took about 10-15 minutes for us to be acknowledged by anyone once we were seated. A sweet guy, that was not our server, saw that we didn’t even have water and fixed that immediately. It was downhill from there. At Juban’s, we always have two servers. Our beverage server Blaise was wonderful he tried very hard to make up for the complete absence of our food server Xavier. Once we got our delicious food, we never saw him again. I had to flag down the hostess to beg her to get us our ticket. 20 minutes later, Xavier appeared with our ticket. He never brought the cotton candy or asked about anything. He also never acknowledged his terrible service. I am ever so sad about this experience. I recommend Juban’s all the time. Once the Manager was finally informed, he came over and gave us gift cards for our next visit. That was a kind gesture, but quite late in this almost two hour game. Just super sad…

    We are visiting from out of town. Returned because my husband had eaten here years ago and really enjoyed it. Everything was truly spot on. We enjoyed all the staff, the drinks, the meal. Can’t beat this place. Lovely inside. A winner.

    We just went for Brunch after church. Everything was really good. The bar as super busy, so I didn’t get my glass of wine, but the food was absolutely delicious!

    The jazz brunch on a Sunday was an excellent experience! I brought my parents and brother whom were visiting from out-of-town. We all had a wonderful visit. The food was incredible. From the seared tuna to the fried oysters to the hallelujah crab, everything was delightful and delicious. Perfect amount of wait time between appetizers and main courses. The jazz ensemble kept us entertained. We left happy and will return!

    Went there for anniversary. 2nd time since renovation. Very crowded with what looked like prom crowd. Had to wait for 30 min after reservation to get table. Hostess kept pointing people to one of the two bars recommending sitting there until table was available. THe problem being that both bars were over filled already . Despite inauspicious beginning, the service was great once seated, the wait for dishes was not bad, and the food as always was great.

    Had brunch with a friend and it was my first time back since they renovated the inside. Amazing experience. Stunning new look! Love the brunch menu and the service was awesome! I will definitely be back!

    The food was incredible. We had the Duck and Boursin Creme, the filet with mushroom risotto, the salmon, the sweet potato cake, and their chocolate and raspberry cake. Everything was absolutely delicious. We also had their house exclusive Cabernet which was lovely. The atmosphere in the bar almost has a country club feel while the dining area gives speak-easy meets executive suite vibes. The service was phenomenal, everyone seemed genuinely happy to be working there. 10/10 would recommend and will be returning at every chance we get!

    Very nice restaurant just disappointed in the wait especially after reservations were made days in advance. I can see maybe 10-15 mins behind but 35-45 mins was unacceptable.

    I really enjoyed the quiet, intimate feel of the restaurant and the service was fantastic. I like that they have a server for the drinks and one for the food. The food and drinks were delicious.

    Great atmosphere. Elegant, but not stuffy. Service is good. Drinks and food outstanding. Recommend the arancini appetizer, the redfish, and the pecan bread pudding.
