Juniper has a beautiful rooftop location with breathtaking views, and a small, intimate setting. Unfortunately, the cold air from a floor vent made our table uncomfortable enough that we had to cover it with a pillow. The homemade pasta of the day was a favorite with two people in our group, and the bison was also enjoyed. My experience was disappointing, though. Being gluten and dairy free left me with very few options. I ordered the lamb with black beans, quinoa, and asparagus, and the entire dish was bland and not enjoyable. The homemade gluten-free bread with oil and balsamic was a bright spot. It’s frustrating to spend so much on dinner and leave disappointed, especially when dietary restrictions already limit your choices. I’d love to see more attention given to making the gluten- and dairy-free options as flavorful and satisfying as the other dishes.

On the top floor of a really cool old hotel. Restaurant has some great views inside and a rooftop bar. The cocktails and food were delicious.

Fantastic birthday dinner! The food and service were top-tier. Benji was super helpful and gave stellar recommendations for both drinks and specials. Don't skip the fresh baguette with compound butter—it was hands-down my favorite bite. The Blackberry Lavender cocktail was amazingly yummy (and dangerously drinkable!). A perfect spot for anyone who loves great food.

Let me start by saying that, historically, this has been one of my favorite places to dine. Unfortunately, tonight was incredibly disappointing. The music was so loud that it was difficult to have a conversation- my friend described the atmosphere as feeling like a nightclub in New York City. Our food took an hour to arrive, and when it finally did, my steak was well done even though I had ordered it medium rare. I was offered a replacement, but understandably, the orders already ahead of mine would still need to be prepared first. After already waiting an hour, I wasn’t willing to wait again, so I declined. They took half off the entrée, but that still meant I effectively paid $32 for mashed potatoes and two carrots. I understand that a small filet at this type of restaurant may cost $64, but at that price, the quality and experience need to justify it. Tonight, they simply didn’t. It was especially disappointing because I have always enjoyed coming here, but it now feels as though the prices have gone up while the overall value and experience have gone down.

The rooftop setting was spectacular. The service was top notch. The food was delicious. Was definitely a great choice to celebrate my husband's birthday.
