Always a great meal here. Egg hoppers with dahl were super tasty. Devilled pork was a winner too - had the hot spice level. May try Lankan spicy next time.

This was our 2nd experience at Kandy Bites. We really enjoyed our meal last time with our favourite dish being the lamb kotthu roti. We've had this dish at many different restaurants and this was one of the best - fresh, light, delicious with a rich gravy. Although all the dishes we've tried so far have been very tasty, our new fave is the the Hot Butter Cuttlefish which was so unique and absolutely amazing! The service was really good too. We'll definitely be back and bring along some more friends with us.

Had dinner at Kandy to introduce some friends to Sri Lankan food. The Hoppers and Egg hoppers were great and the Egg Roti was good. The Lamb curry was lovely as was the Fish curry. Was very disappointed by the sticky String Hoppers which had obviously been microwaved too long and were stuck together! The Pittu too had been overheated in microwave and was hard and gluggy. You can do better. Just steam the String Hoppers and Pittu in future!! Service was ordinary.

We were here for a birthday party of 8 people. While initially we found ordering a little tricky via the QR code, the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. The food was outstanding and really well priced. There wasn’t a single dish we didn’t like, all 8 people were blown away by the food overall. Everyone said they would go back, even next week! The bar was a great addition, the space is large and is beautiful artwork that brings in a lot of colour and vibrancy.

My favourite Sri Lankan restaurant in Sydney. The hoppers were some of the best I’ve had. The crab kottu, cuttle fish and jackfruit cutlets were delicious. The cocktails were original l, fun and taste amazing. My favourite was the acharu. The service is also next level and I can’t wait to go back

We went there on mothers day weekend and there was a 1.5 hour wait for food however it was delicious. I appreciate the staff were overwhelmed no other complaints there then the delay and they missed a dessert that wasn't available anyway that we prepaid and we left without collecting the refund and wrote it off as a tip. No one noticed that we never got the dessert tho lol

The food overall was ok was not very warm when it was served. It was a noisy restaurant and we couldn’t hear each other. Something should be fine to manage the noise levels in the restaurant. Service was very good and the staff were lovely which more than made up for the detractions.

Food service is very slow, felt as though we were waiting for a long time before our food came. Although having the QR code makes things easier for the kitchen, having the option of physical menus with all items may be something to consider to better connect with your customers. Overall your team is always amazing and they even got in our table discussion and we were very happy with their service. They could have been slightly more attentive considering there were 3 wait staff and only 4 tables occupied in the front of house area

Great good but VERY long wait for it. Second visit and both times had to wait nearly an hour for the food. Waiters were busy, didn’t seem like there was enough staff on the floor assisting. The Waiter initially told us if would be 15 minutes for our food to arrive, as mentioned it took nearly an hour. This was very frustrating. The food was delicious, that was a relief however the portion size of the chicken curry that came with the Roti was way too small for $29. It should be at least double to make sense at that price. Will have to think about whether we will be back. Thank you. I would recommend the restaurant however with a disclaimer regarding the above issues.

Honestly, was disappointed. Using stupid QR code for menu is one thing, having to do the full order and pay for it via app before meal when restaurant is empty and order service via a person could have been provided, particularly when looking at prices this place charges will mean I won't come back. Food was good, but overall experience didn't hit the mark.

Ordering is only via the whole table fiddling on their phones. So, no different to ordering via app at home. The discussion between the group and waiter on what to order is gone.

It’s not called biryani guys, adding few pieces of lamb and lamb cutlets on rice. Substandard taste with an expensive price tag.
