Kerridge’s Bar & Grill
The menu is not very exciting and offers limited choice. The ambiance is nice.
The cocktails were delightful, but took about an hour to arrive which was a bit long. The music was also a little too loud
The food was very good & everyone liked all of their courses, clean plates all round. Nice location as well, lighting perfect & the tables were well spread out so it felt very private even in a busy restaurant
A beautiful restaurant, and great service. The menu was good - we had the classic taster menu. Felt that some of the courses could have been a bit more exciting - but others were outstanding. I bet you could have an awesome meal
Expensive but worth it for a special occasion
Lots of space - no elbow to elbow dining here.
Truly fabulous food. The fish was the best ever, by a long way.
Service spot on. The sommelier very helpful.
Ambience lovely with wonderful detail.
So good, I went back just 2 days later.
A great find.
Everything was amazing, had a lovely anniversary dinner. The staff was fantastic, the food was impeccable and the service outstanding making the experience well worth the money. Just watch out for the prices as they do not include VAT, but regardless, completely worth it and would 100% recommend and we cannot wait to go back.
Warm and caring service with superb creative and delicious food!
It was a bit of a shaky start to the evening because they had the wrong details on our reservation and then we were kept waiting half an hour before we had to ask what was going on. After that, they more than made up for it by exceptional service and sincere apologies which we really appreciated and, a very nice touch, a glass of champagne each. Mistakes do get made, in even the best places, but it's how the staff responds which makes the difference. For the food, it was exceptionally good. Truly delicious, everything we had including a shared dessert. Fish and chips may sound a little ordinary, but this was absolutely the best we have ever had. And with a curry sauce! Very tasty, as was the tartar sauce. Beef in a treacle marinade was also delicious. Chips with both dishes were perfect - chunky and crispy on the outside, fluffy and soft inside. Hot, as they should always be. Gluten free options were explained without any fuss and the gluten free bread was surprisingly good. Had a couple of very nice cocktails at the bar while we were waiting for our table. My one and only criticism was the background music. It was slightly intrusive and made the space sound a bit shopping mall-ish. A live piano would be great or just better music. Altogether, an excellent find and we are looking forward to returning with family very soon.
Exceptional food. Good ambience in a grand hall like restaurant. It’s not cheap, but then the food and the wine were both exceptional
I so wanted this to be good. Love the way that Tom presents himself as a non pretentious guy and was hoping that his food and this place was the same. Sorry to say it’s not. Maybe it’s just not for me but the experience reminded me of more uptight places of the 80’s and the sommelier was superior and overly verbose. Sometimes that’s ok but not this night. Food was really well presented but struggled with tough roasted Fennel ( traditionally difficult) and bland Polenta. The chicken was perfect. I’m so unhappy about all of the above as I really wanted to add this to my London list.
Still think Toms a star!
We had a lovely anniversary dinner where the staff were very attentive and there were small nods to the special occasion all the way through our time there which was nice.
Exceptional customer experience. Delicious food. Perfect setting. Amazing
From arrival to leaving nothing was too much trouble. Relaxing drink at the bar and then the excellent 3 course per theatre menu was very very good slightly limited in choice but great value for money and the best hand cut chunky chips crispy and light and fluffy inside I’ve ever had and the curry sauce too wow
Second visit here but dinner this time rather than lunch. We also dined with a gluten intolerant friend and the restaurant are very well prepared for diners who are coeliac. It was a fabulous dinner and our waitress was superb. I highly recommend a visit.
This is a spectacular dining room set in the Corinthian Hotel, lots of nicely separated seating for those of us who want to dine with our own meal partners and plenty of lovely squashed up tables for those who wish to rub elbows with other tables. We opted to sit away from the crowd and the restaurant service staff made a good job of relocating us from other diners. I had the crab spring roll which had a great flavour but was slightly spoilt by the amount of crab shell I had to crunch through. The stuffed (whole) quail was difficult to dissect and the stuffing ball rolled out on it's own, the flavours were good though. The souffle was excellent as was the accompanying house white a red. I finished of with an espresso and a calvados. Part from the excursion that you have to make to get to the the "restrooms" all in all a satisfying experience.
Completely wonderful in every way. Jacob and Matthew are brilliant too.
Dined here for the first time and we thought the food was fantastic . Service was a little sketchy...we were the only diners not offered any bread and we had to ask several times to have our wine topped up. This won’t put us off a return visit in the future.
We were really looking forward to this lunch and it did not disappoint.
We had a quiet drink at the Bar. Amazing cocktails - Barbarosa had a real kick to it.
The table was beautifully laid out.
The staff were attentive and professional and really calm which added to the ambiance.
The food was heavenly - we chose from the 3 course set menu. Each course tasted wonderful.
Special mention for the Ridgeview Cavendish Sparkling Wine we had with our lunch as recommended by one of the staff - Crisp, Dry and just the right amount of bubbles that complimented every course we had.
I loved the atmosphere, decor and it is a lovely treat for a special occassion.
Great time enjoyed. The food is brilliant, the restaurant is just not as cosy as the sister hand and flowers
Service was amazing.
