Amazing!!!! Maria was great
Great experience, great food, the place is beautiful
Simple one of the best Japnese restaurants in Miami!
Roni was excellent and the food is amazing!!!
My server was very professional and kind.
We loved the way he assisted us all the time.
The food is amazing, I would say that this is one of my favorite sushi restaurant.
Eh. Slow service
Phenomenal sushi! Signature pieces especially!
Great music and service.
Food quality was very good.
However it took 40 minutes from the time we were seated to have our order taken. Service was slow if not absent. My wife and I are not very demanding, but this place was unmentionable from the service standpoint. The sushi/sashimi however was very tasty and well done. The miso seabass was a bit too sweet and caked with miso. The wagyu gyoza was a bit dry and like hamburger. Their swishing peppers were great quality of the peppers and were done well. The veggie maki also had nice quality components that my wife enjoyed.
The sashimi plate (5 different fishes) was very tasty and excellent quality of fish.
The dinner with drinks was about $360 for two people. Tagged for service charge so totalled over $400 for two people. For the service quality would not say they earned even a portion of the 18% they tagged.
My group and I went here for the NYE special and it was easily the worst mistake of our lives. The actual food itself was not that bad but it’s hard to enjoy when you only get a signal plate of food within a hour and a half of being there. At the rate are food was coming out we would still been there by sunlight. The water they served us was warm and the server seemed more interested in her phone then us. When we tried to call on the waitress for more water she ignored us several times and furthermore when we confronted the manager about it he seemed more concerned about making us pay $285 for our two small plates of food out of our 7 course meal plus champagne which never came. When we finally got the bill the waitress thought it was appropriate to hold the machine and look over my shoulder as I entered a tip to try and pressure me into giving her a tip even though we only spoke to her 2 times in our entire time there. I would have expected that for the money that they charged they could at least hire some competent servers. They advertised this as a great NYE experience yet I could of gotten a better experience at any fast food chain. Furthermore, the waitress did not disclose to us that a 18% gratuity was included in the overall bill and the waitress actively hid this charge from us in order to get a bigger tip for herself. I think this is highly inappropriate for any restaurant especially one that advertises its restaurant as a classier establishment compared to many others.
Food was good. Experience was terrible. Our NYE meal took 3.5 hours. It’s clear the kitchen couldn’t handle multiple versions of the tasting menu, and they very obviously had to prioritize a lower tier of menu options. They also missed midnight for the nye toast… literally had one job. Not worth the money spent.
Amazing experience for NYE
One of the best sushi restaurants in Miami
We were SO excited to return. Dreaming about our visits last April. Sadly both food drinks and service took a dip from prior experiences. Still good. Not great.
Amazing Food! Great music and chic room. Really enjoyed. Will be back!
Great service!!! Maybe the best part of it. Food was good but not something I will give 100%, or maybe I should come back and try more dishes… I had the tuna toro tartare, the salmon toro truffle, salmon truffle maki, tuna crispy rice, wagyu gyoza, baked cauliflower, madai jelly and the salmon belly nigiri.
The quality and flavors of the food were very memorable but service was unfortunately lacking for a meal that cost just under $500 for two people. Parking is very challenging with no valet in site. Laid back trendy environment inside. We loved the interior design. Please note that our meal costs were a little higher because it was a special event with a Michelin Star chef flown in from Brazil who was amazing.
Food was delicious but service not so good. The waitress only cared about the big tables.
understaffed ... like everyone in Miami .. little slow service ...
Good but nothing special. We were presented with a check that included 18% gratuity with no mention of that and then presented with a hand held payment device that asked for a gratuity of another 18 or 20 or 22% with again no mention of the already included 18% gratuity on the device nor by the server. Basically robbery.
Amazing food! Wow
A girlfriend and I came down to Miami for a girls trip and we love sushi so decided to check out Kosushi and was NOT disappointed at all. The ambiance was amazing, the inside is so beautiful, and the food was even better! We started with the wagyu gyoza, and indulged in two different maki rolls and the shrimp butter sashimi. The service made our experience even better. We were impressed with it all and if I am ever back in Miami again I will be returning!!
Terrible service. Noisy and poor music. The waiter acted like he hated his life.
Love the food and ambience
Incresible!! Ambience was like a dream. creative dishes.
Amazing sushi, great service, very cool ambiance.. will definitely be coming back on a regular basis, love it!
Sake/wine list is very limited with only a couple reasonably priced items. Tried to BYO and simply pay a ~$50 corkage but manager said he would have to charge $500 corkage fee for one of the nicer bottles I brought.
It was quiet Friday! The food was amazing but a little pricey!
The best sushi in all of Miami. Been multiple times and it is always a fantastic atmosphere, delicious food, and amazing service. A true hidden gem in south beach.
The food was delicious, every single dish brought amazing taste to our palate! The service was good, and I believe a tad overpriced even though they serve Toro and Wagyu dishes. I would definitely come back.
Buena Experiencia, falta un poco mas de luz en el lugar.
Amazing ambiance the feel of the establishment was perfect the service was incredible and I experienced the best sushi in the city by far, great food.
Quail Egg, Truffle and Salmon together at last…the best!
This place blew my mind! How can sushi be this good? How can sushi melt in your mouth? How can each bite be better and better? Well, if you want to have the best sushi of your life, you must try Kosushi….yes, each bite is worth every penny!
one of the best sushi meals I have had in years (and that at decent prices)
it's weird that this place is not busier !
It deservers to be full !
KUDOS to the owner/managers
The food was delicious and fresh. The service is terrible. The waiter never came to pour the wine, we had to do it ourselves. The waiter was with such a dissatisfied face as if he was doing us a favor. Very expensive for such a poor service. And the food does not smooth out the attitude towards the guest of the restaurant. When we asked for , cheque they didn't bring us a receipt with a transcript. The waiter immediately brought the cash register, said that the service was already turned on. $ 600 for two adults and Rebekah is too much. As a result, we didn't even understand what we paid for and how much the service was. There are also no prices on the site. Muddy service.
We will not return and do not recommend this restaurant. There are more worthy places for such money.
Great experience, food was fantastic. The service was good. The only thing I can complain is that the server didn’t say anything about 18% service charge, I didn’t notice either and ended up paying another 20% on top.
This is a excellent Sushi restaurant in a great Beach location. Service is solid and the food is superb. Could go many times and never get bored.
Food was amazing. The quality is the best that you can buy. But the service was really bad. No one cared for us, we had to serve the wine ourselves, ask for more water three times, call the server at every step. When you are paying this kind of money you expect not only food quality but great service. Music was too loud and acoustic is not the best, you can hear everything that were being talked on the tables next to ours. No problem paying 150 bucks per person for this food quality but only when the service is according to the price. I’ll keep going only to the one in São Paulo that has the same quality but much better service.
Most of the things we ordered were delicious, good quality and fresh. However, not worth the price, especially the sushi by the piece (small pieces and overpriced) and the toro roll (nothing special and price was offensive for the size of the roll).
