Absolutely great food
The food was excellent, but the service was absolutely disappointing. Our $700 dinner felt more like a a fight for any servers attention in the restaurant to be served.
We were seated at the sushi bar when we had asked for a table - the hostess claimed all the remaining tables were being combined for larger parties, which we later confirmed was untrue. It took 20+ minutes to order water. I was hit in the head TWICE by a busboy carrying food/drinks. The chairs were easily the most uncomfortable seats I’ve ever sat on in a restaurant, and the live Brazilian music conflicted with the essence and vibe of the restaurant.
The food was exceptional! The staff was friendly and personable and attentive and well informed. The ambiance was warm, relaxed and interesting to look at. The noise level was perfect for dinner conversation.

The worst service I have ever experienced. Such a shame because the food/ drinks were great and the restaurant is beautiful... but it took over 2 hours for us to get a lot of our plates and was impossible to get our drinks refilled in the process. It got to a point where the 5 tables behind us and ours were all bonding over how terrible the service is and how no one had food on their table. Even when they finally started brining plates they couldn’t get anyone’s order right. Absolutely unacceptable for such an expensive restaurant. Truly disappointed.

we have eaten here several times over the past few months and loved it. This time it was one debacle after another. We had a reservation for last Saturday night. Saturday afternoon we got a call from a manger identifying himself as "Wilbert" who said they had an emergency and had to cancel, but we should ask for him when we came in next. We then rescheduled for this past Sunday night. Entirely new staff it seemed (other than the server, who is great, Marin). in particular the sushi chefs were new as well. We asked for Wilbert and we were told the manager's name was Ron. Ron never came by to speak to us. We then ordered the same dishes as usual. The salad, usually a highlight, had almost no dressing and was totally bland, the seared waygu, usually seared in front of you at the sushi bar, was seared in back and had none of the qualities that usually caused us to order it. worst of all was the Unagi Avo (eel with avocado, on crispy seaweed and eaten like a taco). usually the highlight, they served us something a roll nothing , then when we questioned what they had served, they first said that was how it was made, then claimed they had sent us the wrong dish and would remake it. They then served us two pieces of sushi with eel and avocado (again not the seaweed taco dish on the menu), and then when we told them it was again made incorrectly, argued with us even as we showed them the description on the menu. Although Marin did her best as we expressed our displeasure, the manager, Ron, still could not bother to come over, instead hiding out on the other side of the restaurant. His disinterest in dealing with the issue when he clearly knew that the new staff didn't know the menu and that a fairly regular customer was dissatisfied was mind boggling to me. He did hold the door for us on the way out for us though and told us to have a nice night. Sadly, we won't be in a rush to return short of an apology.
The food was excellent but the service was horrible. It took forever to get our food, some of it never arrived. After over 3 hours we asked for the check and left. Needs major improvement or we will never return
Drinks were off; service was very slow because they were short staffed and bathroom was not working. Food was great! Ximena the hostess and Wilder our waitress were very nice.
The food was alright. However the service was so horrible. We ordered the toro foie and truffle salmon sushi but our waiter brought on regular tuna and salmon sushi. We had to ask to confirm that he got the wrong dishes. Also, one of orders was missed. Overall really disappointing.
The restaurant was full and there was only one server for entire restaurant. And the cushions on the back are horrible, not possible to sit there as you’re back falls.
No service and sitting didn’t work so We left.
I have been going to Kosushi for the last 8 months since it opened and the food experience has always been great. However, the service has been getting from bad to worse and the price of the food has increased, which I find unacceptable and unexpected.
It is unfortunate but looks like we will be going there much less and many friends have complained about the service. The real problem is the service which for the price they are charging it’s unacceptable!
This restaurant had the best sushi I ever had. And I know sushi.
Everything on the menu was out standing. I hope they keep open so I can go back soon.

Service was terribly slow we order sashimi plates and it took too long to arrive and place is small and there is a lack of servers anyways food was ok but the waiting time noway and won’t go back again. It’s full of top sushi with better service
First time and would definitely go back! Will probably sit at the sushi bar... Quality of food excellent. Service was good. Need more variety in wines by the glass and bubblies. Great decor. Can envision after Covid with decor, dim lighting, great music will be a very chic place to enjoy great food and night out!

Possibly the worst service I’ve ever had, extremely disappointing. They never brought out the entire order and they brought me the bill with everything we ordered, just an ordeal to clear that up. Good food, terrible service.
