Has a lovely meal to celebrate my partner’s birthday. Service was fantastic and the food was the best I’ve had in a long time. I’m glad we got the steak platter for two so we could try more. We asked for more chimichurri and it was divine. I’m really appreciative of them making up some fresh mocktails since we don’t drink! So good!!

We had a wonderful anniversary dinner at La Barrita! Our servers were so kind and helpful. We loved our cocktails and especially loved the food. Our appetizer, mains, and dessert were amazing! We want to come back!

Excellent ambiance and service, good menu. If you’re looking for good vibes, good drinks, and a friendly staff, La Barrita has that covered. The food was great—at my table, the empanadas were a big hit. I thought for sure chicken would be our favorite, but don’t miss out on the spinach empanada. Delicious!

Good restaurant for sure! Must have the empanadas! I had the Ojo de Bife. Wife had gnocchi which she really liked. Highly recommend. Small restaurant so there is the potential for the nearby table to hear your conversation.

We absolutely loved our dinner here! We’ve had La Barrita on our list of restaurants to try and we finally booked a date night. The ham, cheese, and onion empanadas were fresh and delicious, bread comes with chimichurri to dip, the ravioles verdes were big, stuffed, and soo yummy. The star dish of the night was the risotto con langostino (shrimp) - it was a big dish that was so creamy and savory. Every bite was delicious.

Fabulous choice for a special occasion. The food was exquisite, every bite a treat. The wine list was as we hoped - a delightful array of choices from Argentina and Spain. Service was outstanding from the warm welcome to delightful conversation on what makes Argentinian food so delicious.

Delicious meal from start to finish! Something to note is that we made a reservation for 3 but were seated side by side at a window counter, not at a table. It ended up being no problem but definitely something to keep in mind for certain groups.

We had a 545 reservation and at 743 we had an employee tell us there was another reservation and we needed to leave. I understand that it says this when making a reservation, but there were so many open tables and kicking us out just seemed unnecessary. We spent over $200 on the two of us, and were planning on moving to the bar for another drink until this happened. We took our business elsewhere. It was also both of our birthdays, in which we noted in our reservation (that required a credit card), but it was not acknowledged.

Didn't know what to expect. I wanted a steak for fathers' day. It's one of those corner bars / restaurants in Baltimore. My steak was perfect, the meatball appetizer was perfect. The wine was great. The gnocchi was perfect. Definitely worth visiting. I enjoyed it all.

The food was amazing! This is coming from a native Argentinian, the food is legit!. It’s a bit pricey, but it’s worth it, just be aware of that when you’re planning.

The food was excellent, the service was sub par. Our waiter was such a nice guy, but he couldn’t seem to get the order correct. First, he brought the wrong beer, so no big deal, my husband drank it anyway. Then he brought the wrong entree to me. Since I couldn’t eat it due to dietary restrictions, the correct entree had to be made. So my husband ate some of his so it wouldn’t get cold (I couldn’t eat his either), and I waited for mine. It did come out with many apologies from the server. Our next round of drinks was on him, which was very nice. When the bill came, the wrong entree and the other 2 correct entrees were on it. So we had to call him back over to fix the check. I tipped him well because he was such a nice guy, but something needs to be fixed.

I’ll start by saying I think this place is great. Two reasons I didn’t give 5 stars this time around 1) entrees took 45ish minutes to come out after we received the appetizer and 2) I ordered the NY Strip but what I got what seemed more like a ribeye as it was fattier than I would expect an NY Strip (probably had to cut off about 25% of it due to fat). Regardless it was delicious and cooked perfectly to order. Ambiance of La Barrita is great. We had the fried garbanzos which were awesome. Staff was also great. Small place so very intimate. Don’t let my nit picky things fool you, I highly recommend.

Everything was cooked to perfection and the cocktails are so refreshing. A little on the pricier end but much better to splurge here than similar chain steakhouses. Can’t wait to go back!
