We LOVE La Mar!! It's a go-to favorite. The food is ALWAYS fantastic both in terms of quality and taste. The team at La Mar is amazing. Highly recommend sitting outside on the patio which is heated for full year enjoyment.

Disappointed. Recommended but fell way short. Seated in bar with mediocre ambiance. Waiter wasn’t attentive. And we paid for dishes that we weren’t served. I should have made a ooont but just wanted to leave.

First time trying this highly recommended restaurant for our weekly datenight. The staff was incredibly attentive, nice and helpful. I tried the Maracuyá Sour and; although I think it was a little small; loved the taste! . We went through with the 5 course meal option so we could try as many things as possible. The serving sizes were perfect for us and the flavors were the best part of the whole experience. Will definitely come back!

We go to La Mar whenever we have out of town visitors, the food, service and ambience is impeccable. We especially like the pisto sours, cebiche, and polpo !

All staff are so attentive. Armando is our waiter, he did amazing work with food suggestion and generous service with our anniversary complementary for appetizer and dessert. We love to dine in with La Mar the food quality and taste always good. Keep up the good work.

The ceviche with shrimp was spectacular but also the other ceviches , the rice was excellent but a little too salty (Chaufa) The 3 leches dessert was also very good we ordered twice but tapioca and the passion fruit also We also had empanadas and fish And we were very happy with everything including the different pizco sour We will recommend it

Something bad has happened to LaMar. We have always enjoyed the ambiance and food has always been a pleasant experience. Last night was disappointing on all fronts. Asked to sign a form to get the reservation and to sign An agreement to tip 20% was offputing. It was too dark the music was too loud, the chairs uncomfortable, the service was terribly slow and the food disappointing. Overall poor experience

This is my 3rd time coming here and it is a treat. Our server this time was not as knowledgeable about the menu as other servers in the past, who guided us to make the right selections. The Halibut tail was amazing. This restaurant is a culinary gem!

La Mar Cebichería in San Francisco offers a culinary journey to Lima that truly captivates the senses. Our appetizer trio featured the flawless Causa Limeña, a delightful Nigiri tasting (with the Saltado nigiri stealing the show), and a ceviche tasting that, while good, led me to wish I'd gone all in for the cebiche clásico. The entrees were nothing short of exceptional. The Arroz Norteño, a true masterpiece, earned a solid 10/10 for its exquisite flavors and perfect execution. The Tacu Tacu also received a well-deserved 10/10, and the Aeropuerto, though very good, came in at an 8.5/10. The service, however, presented a mixed bag. While the hostesses and busboys were phenomenal, our waitress seemed less than thrilled whenever we needed assistance, slightly marring an otherwise close-to-perfect dining experience. In summary, La Mar Cebichería delivers on its promise of transporting you to the heart of Lima with its authentic and delicious offerings. The entrees, especially the Arroz Norteño and Tacu Tacu, are must-tries. Keep in mind that the service experience may vary, but the overall culinary journey makes it a worthwhile visit.

The food and drinks are amazing. It is a bit pricey but I feel it’s worth it. The service is also amazing. Brad was our server, he gave us ample time to enjoy our appetizer before placing our dinner order. I will be back for sure.

The lobster robiquito croquettes were creative and delicious. Pulpi amazing and limo Saltado steak grilled crisp perfect . Dessert delicious but portion small. They do charge extra for chips so be aware. Atmosphere facing bay is great

Frozen cocktail remained frozen until the end. Just a frozen. Ball is no good as one can take a sip. Not a good experience. There were no draft beers, for a restaurant of this caliber. Should have craft beer varieties. Overall satisfactory experience

Food was good, but they made me sign a paper stating that parties of six or more had an automatic 20% service charge. By the end of the night I understood why. Our waiter passed by our table a total of three times. I had to throw my hands in the air to finally have him come to the table. Waiter was nice, just a little to absent. And the rest of the serving crew a little on the rude side.
