It was a very pleasant experience. The food was amazing, great flavors and aroma. The staff was very nice and the service and overall experience was outstanding! We had a wonderful time and for sure we will be back once we visit London again and I highly recommend this place if you want quality food and good service.
Absolutely fantastic, food was simply amazing. We had been looking for a proper fruit we mer platter for a long time and this has been the absolute best. Loads of high quality, fresh and delicious seafood, simply amazing. Waiter was extremely helpful, seeing how we had over ordered and he was right! The Royal platter was huge, would easily feed 4 or 5! Make sure you save room for the last serving of king crab, mussels and Clams in beautiful butter sauce though, it is sublime. Staff here are attentive, knowledgeable and helpful and the owner is fantastic, visiting your table to chat and make recommendations. You could easily believe you're in Paris. Will be visiting again and bringing friends and family!
This restaurant is a welcome change from the standard fish and chips experience in London. It's a seafood store essentially turned into a seafood restaurant. The customer picks their own seafood from the very fresh selection (displayed in the middle of the restaurant) and decides how it's prepared. Excellent service, excellent food. Highly recommended if you want to have a quiet dinner in an intimate atmosphere.

I gave this restaurant 1 star because the food was actually good. But there was so much wrong that I’m sure we won’t be back! I love the fishmonger in Primrose Hill and heard this restaurant was associated with it. Well, someone should tell the waiter! He had no idea what we were talking about. Then again, he may have still been getting over the fact that the chef/owner had just reprimanded him very loudly in front of everyone there! So not appropriate! The waiter being clueless about most things, the chef being rude to his staff and the entire LACK of ambience were certainly not the worse things about this place. It was the BUGS! There were fruit flies (?) or some type of little tiny bugs all over! And then, when I looked over at the boat of fish we were supposed to choose our meal from, the bugs were by the fish too.
I really wanted to like this place. But too many bugs to work out.

Fantastic fish restaurant close to Marble Arch. The owner is clearly passionate about what he does and the quality of the fish is first rate. (The place is also a fishmonger during the day)
We have become regular clients, such is the ambience and the friendliness of the restaurant.

Service so slow and place under staffed so it feels chaotic, rushed, or hectic. The food is excellent. The staff are very nice and personable. If they get more staff, this place would do super well. I still recommend it because the food is great.
This was a special find behind our Hotel The Intercontinental Grand. The chef/owner made us these amazing special dishes we will never forget

Oh what an amazing experience! The freshest seafood prepared simply highlighting the freshness and flavour of the seafood. Drinks crafted and perfectly paired. Extremely attentive service by the owner himself who made us feel like visiting family. He explained their approach to the food and the french traditions used.

Wonderful experience. Very convivial and energetic. Lovely to be able to pick your seafood from the boat and watch the preparation at the counter. Great music selection from the chef as well.

I'm almost afraid to write this review since I don't want too many people to find this hidden gem. My wife and I recently visited London and enjoyed Le Petite three times. Yes its that good. Very unassuming storefront and charming interior give way to excellent seafood prepared my owner/chef Nic and his great staff of Roberto, Nicoli and Beatrice.
The menu is great and Nic can create something for you also.
If seafood is on the menu for lunch or dinner go to Le Petite for an excellent meal, great service and good conversation!
Fantastic food and service.
Authentic and fresh fish counter within restaurant so easy to pick the fish one wanted to eat. Great and friendly service with humour but knowledgeable on all the menu. Best fish selection we have found in London. We had oysters, scallop ceviche, fish soup and Dover sole. All outstanding and very fresh and well prepared.
Highly recommend to seafood lovers.
Brilliant little place! Definitely coming here again and again! The service was incredible, the owner was hilarious and really made the evening and his staff were so attentive.
We had a selection of cold seafood and oysters along with some small Plates like cods liver (incredible) and the tuna burger amongst others. So fresh.
We asked the chef to surprise us and make something from the fish selection and he came back with an excellent and deliciously prepared Norwegian halibut in a ratatouille sauce, I cannot express how good this was! The alaskan king crabs legs cooked in a butter sauce was heavenly, woke up having dreamt about it!
All in all, great evening, great ambience, fresh seafood in a relaxed setting, what more could one want. See you soon!

La Petite Poissonerie is exactly as it sounds. A great little fish restaurant and fishmongers. It is very petite! And it is has an authentic feel.... so don't go expecting high end furnishings and typical London trappings. Service is very friendly and the fish ultra fresh. So it has a charm all of it's own. A great find!
Did not know what we would find , but far exceeded our expectations . A totally different experience of a west end restaurant - so personal it was delightful. We will be returning as soon as we can.
Great food, great service, very strong proposition
From the initial welcome to our departure we were made to feel important and valued. The food choices are wide enough to give a good variety and narrow enough to know that everything is freshly prepared.
The service was friendly and efficient. The staff were prepared to explain dishes and guide us through our choices.
The food was exceptional.
We had a 7:00 PM booking on a Thursday evening, and we were the only customers when we turned up. This could have been a bit off-putting had it not been for the beautiful display of obviously very fresh seafood that greeted us, along with the very personable French owner/chef/host. Small space with a couple of tables (the four of us sat at a nice one in the window) and an 8 seat or so counter on the ground floor where most of the action is (the fish display and much of the cooking). More seating downstairs, which almost seems like a different restaurant. Sit upstairs!
We began with a dozen Irish oysters: delicious, pristine, and expertly shucked. Moved on to assorted tapas-style dishes (smoked cod liver, scallops, shrimp in a coconut-based sauce, ravioli) all of which were delicious.
We then all had the seafood tagliatelle, which was an assortment of shellfish along with a large prawn. Also very tasty. Finished up with some cheese, which was actually baked (not revealed to us when we were asked if we wanted it), and it too was very good.
Fairly priced wine list, with plenty of affordable bottles. We drank a very nice Riesling.
Nice (modern) pub across the street for pre-dinner drinks.
If 4.5 star reviews were permitted, that is what we would have given.
Great little place. We had some amazing King crab, oysters, prawns etc. Had a chat with the owner, friendly and welcoming. We will be back
This is a small but wonderful restaurant, I would recommended sitting at the bar and getting to know the chefs - the experience isn’t complete without them! The food is also incredible and the fish and seafood are of an excellent quality. Every course I had was worth it to the extreme. Amazing restaurant.
A gem of a team, a gem of a place! Chef/owner Nic « Rascal » knows his fish and shellfish, and will whip up anything — from the menu or bespoke — in minutes. We had dinner there, on a Saturday night, managing to secure last minute counter seating. We had oysters — super Irish and Maldon, a sea bass carpaccio, sea bass ravioli, whelks, clams, shrimp... we couldn’t stop eating as everything was so fresh and perfectly prepared. The Picpoul de Pinet white was the perfect pairing. Then came the ultimate French touch: the warm Saint Marcelin cheese, a beauty, with a small production Pinot Noir from the South of France — an unusual grape for these terroirs, but it was delicious nonetheless. To crown everything up, a refreshing, tangy Yuzu sorbet served with yuzu infused sake. Wow. This place has been selling fresh fish and seafood to the Marylebone / Primrose Hill community for five years, but the restaurant opened only three months ago — hurry!, as I suspect we are soon going to see long waiting lists to get a table!
This is a small , charming and very French fishmonger/restaurant. We were greeted by smiling friendly staff and treated to the most delicious seafood meal , a seabass cerviche starter and an outstanding bouillabaisse left no room for a dessert !
