Fresh mozzarella cheese, Scamorza cheese, mild Roma sausage, garlic sautéed broccoli di Rabe, and E.V. olive oil
Romaine hearts lettuce, tossed with our homemade Caesar dressing, Parmigiano Reggiano cheese and toasted buttery croutons
Pasta e Fagioli
Traditional Italian Cannellini beans in a Prosciutto base soup with Ditalini pasta
Authentic Neapolitan pizza, in my opinion the best in the area, excellent crust, very light, flavors just perfect not overwhelming. I asked for a Clabresse pizza, Kalamata olives were a little too salty but well compensated with the cheese and olive oil. Cesar salad needs improvement, overpriced, tasteless and not recommended. Expresso coffee have a good flavor but needs to work on the thickness of the coffee, just calibration of the machine. If you come for the pizza, highly recommended…
This is the third time, post-pandemic, that We have dined here. The food is consistently delicious, and the service is great. We will keep coming back.
Excellent kitchen and waiter (Dan). Noisy but not unduly. Overall a very enjoyable meal.
Everything was terrific, as usual. However, the server seemed a little preoccupied/inattentive. Nothing worth notifying management about at the time, but noticeable compared to other dining experiences here. Perhaps they were short staffed & he had many tables and couldn’t linger. We’ll definitely come back—best Italian food!
Service is great and so is the food. Make reservations cause they’re usually busy.
Our fourth visit. We’ve tried several pasta dishes and several pizzas and a few appetizers. All were excellent. The pizza crusts, pesto like sauce at table for dipping bread, and arancini (traditional Italian appetizer of stuffed rice balls) are standouts but all the food is consistently excellent. There was a sign posted at our last visit in late June 2021 that apologized for any delay due to a staffing shortage (a persistent problem for many restaurants due to the pandemic). Nevertheless, we experienced no delay nor rushed service. All were friendly and accommodating. We will continue to patronize La Posta. It’s more upscale sister restaurant in downtown in Annapolis, Osteria 177, is extraordinary in its own right in food and service and is worth a visit as well.
Overall, good food and service. One of very few places that can get broccoli raab and sausage, which is outstanding. Only complaint would be that it is extremely warm, borderline hot inside and that you need to wear light clothes.
The special of appetizer, soup or salad and entrée is the best bargain around, and every morsel was tasty. We will definitely be back.
Great new outdoor patio took us back to Italy (even Little Italy in NYC). Great food, fun and service. Get vaxed! Enjoy great dinning al fresco!
Awesome food and great service!
Lucas, our server, did a great job! He took care of us and gave us the right balance w/space. All of your pizzas taste just great!
Excellent food as always. Looking forward to coming back.
Food was nothing special. Vodka sauce pasta with crab has barely any crab in it. Seemed like it had been sitting under a heatlamp a while before getting to our table.
I requested a quiet corner table and La Posta was very accommodating. We were seated at a table in a very quiet room which gave us an opportunity to chat quietly. In spite of being in an area of the restaurant that was unoccupied for part of the time we were there our server was attentive and checked on us regularly to insure we had everything we needed. The calamari fritta was tender, lightly breaded and the marinara accompaniment was delicious. The house red wine from Montepulciano is our favorite and we now refuse to get pizza anywhere else because it does not measure up to the delicious wood fired pizzas prepared at la posta. Eating at la posta is like a little mini trip to Italy.
As usual the food was excellent, the service was outstanding and the overall experience was well worth the cost.
Great place to dine with Family n friends. Fabulous pizzas. Shared a number of entrees and everything was fresh and delicious!
Excellent food and service. A wonderful local restaurant.
Always consistent. My goto in Maryland for wood fired neopolitan pizza.
Great food and love love love the alfresco dining setup.
Great food, socially distance seating. So glad to have this neighborhood spot!
I could start and say several good things, but I’m just gonna really put it into perspective and simply say, when I crave a neopolitan style wood fired pizza, this is where I go in Maryland.
Great dinner from start to finish. Promptly seated and waited on. Food was fantastic as usual. Charlie has a great place and Dan took good care of us.
Great Food. Great ambience.A must try!
Delicious food and great service!
Food and service was excellent as always. Good to see the owner as he always makes sure to come by and check on his guests .
We love our little neighborhood restaurant and love be able to sit at the bar .
It was very easy to get seated on a Tuesday night. The hostess and our server were very friendly. The food was great.
Fun friendly atmosphere, great service and good food. We will return
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I had a Caesar saladand the Shrimp Scampi, it was delicious. My wife had the Insalata and the Chilean Seabass. She stated that it was the best dinner she has had in a while. It was excellent! We Highly recommend La Posta!
La Posta is always consistently good on all levels! This is more than just pizza! A true neighborhood gem!
Always so delicious with amazing service. Great job with COVID precautions. Looking forward to going back soon.
excellent food, ambiance and service. Will definitely be going back.
The white bean soup was excellent. We had never ordered it before, and my husband wanted to try it. He thought it was so good, he wanted me to try it, too.
Once again chef hit it out of the park! We each had a Caesar salad - nicely dressed - not too garlicy or anchovies forward. we then shared the grilled Calamari - cooked to perfection! My husband had the lobster fradiablo (spelling?) special for the evening and I had the Rollatina made with eggplant and stuffed with ricotta and spinach served as a special request as a dinner portion!
Service was awesome, social distancing was definitely a priority and the evening was perfect.
Capped off with Cannoli to go -
Charlie - your staff is doing you proud!!!
It was my daughter’s birthday. Her family loves La Posta. The outdoor setting was lovely and COVID minded. We enjoyed our burrata appetizer and our salad. Our main dish with broccoli rash was very bitter. We asked for chicken instead of pork and were up charged. There was hardly any chicken. We also were up charged on the dish for changing from linguine to pappadelle. They did not wish our daughter a hbd even though we did order dessert. We were having it at home. Overall food was good (except our bitter up charged dish). Nice atmosphere outdoors, and service
When I want wood fired pizza neopolitan style , I always come here. That simple.
Wonderful multi-course lunch with great service!
Very nice wine list and desert selections too!
Great place excellent food!
Excellent food served outdoors with excellent service. Picnic table fine dining
Ate outside. Great pizza. Also had salmon. Great spot in SP.
