   Food was decent. The soda machine wasn’t working so you could not get any type of soft drink. Apps came out quick but then food took a long time. Prices were a little high. Overall will not be running to go back.

   Loved it more than the restaurant that was there before. Food was delicious. Service was excellent!!! I would recommend to all. The only thing that was a little problem was that our food took awhile to be ready. Not a big deal and I’m sure its because they just opened. All in all I would definitely go again!! ❤️❤️

   Happily enjoyed returning after many years at Matoranos. Overjoyed to see many of the former excellent staff still there. A restaurant is only as good as it’s staff and this is a 5 star staff. Michele and Dinga are some of the outstanding personnel. I always had Matoranos meatballs and LaStradas baked not fried more than satisfied. I have eaten in every notable Italian restaurant and their veal parmigiana is the test. LaStradas equaled my all time favorite Stella’s in Floral Park. The macaroni and gravy is sure to be a favorite. I look forward to tomorrow and I will enjoy LaStada even more. In fact I booked a future party of 25 for my grandsons birthday. As an aside I did take some food home.

   Seated quickly. Drink order placed fast. I know it’s an Italian restaurant but I expected some type of steak on the menu. Nothing. 2 veal dishes and a pork chop as the chef special. When the waitress was getting my small plate her long hair was stuck to her hand and wound up on my plate. She got me a new plate. Got the meatball appetizer. 2 avg meatballs at best for $20. I wound up getting the lasagna with with I think boar meat. Tasted different and served in 3 pieces liked a rolled sandwich. I am not sure I would recommend it. We got the risotto as a side. Tasted very good but it was served on a flat plate and got cold in about a minute. Wife got the chicken parm and it was average at best. Not worth $40. The pasta that came with it was Al dente which my wife liked a lot. That meal with 2 glasses of wine for $150 was not worth it as far as I’m concerned. I will go back 1 more time and try something different and see if I like it.

    We were happy with the quality of the food but given that La Strada just recently replaced Martoranno's at Harrah's, we noticed the prices of similar dishes were higher and the portions smaller. $20 for a Caesars salad that was not enough for 2 to share was quite disappointing especially since Romaine lettuce is not that expensive. Nearly $40 for pasta dishes that were not huge portions also disappointing. The portions were adequate for a meal but given that they weren't an over abundance like we've seen at Martoranno's they should have been priced about $5-$10 lower per dish. We used to have leftovers from Martoranno's but no leftovers from La Strada and a higher check.

    The food was pretty good. My Carbonara was a bit above average, somewhat runny. My wife's Bolgnasie was somewhat bland. The real issue is drinks. $21.99 for a glass of house wine is INSANE!!!
