The food was good but our appetizer which was theirs specialty dish came lukewarm I should’ve been hotter I had the scallops in for $41 I got three scallops and a huge plate of risotto so thought that could’ve been a little better but our waiter was excellent and obviously not his fault that they serve the dishes they do I did enjoy my dessert and our wine

I have eaten at LaStrada five times and all but one visit was very good with great service. On the visit that was not good, they did not have all the seafood for the seafood linguine and would not substitute another seafood in its place which was very disappointing. So I ordered veal marsala which was only acceptable; very disappointing. The service is always very good.

This spot is hidden in the Eldorado casino in Reno and has grown into a very nice place for an intimate dinner or even a celebration. The menu is varied and the cooking is spot on with each item being perfectly cooked and seasoned. Our server, Lizzette, was a very sweet young lady who tended professionally to our every need. We had Karli Rodriquez as our server and Valentin as her assistant. They both provided great service and was very pleasant. The food was delicious, we had grilled octopus and caprese salad. I chose the paparadelle bolognese and my husband chose the signature mushroom ravioli. The food was amazing but that ravioli was out of this world. The ambiance was nice and I like the fact we were close to any tables so it felt private. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Had the Veal Parmigiana (Milanese Style) and a Caesar Salad. The veal came out cold and the asparagus was undercooked. Service was the best part of the experience. Could have done without the announcements over PA system for the Carrano Cup winners while I was there. I’ve eaten here before and the food was much better so hoping this was a one time fluke.

The restaurant is lovely. All the staff are welcoming and gracious. Our server, Delaina (?) was warm and attentive, without being hovering. The bottle of Ferrari Carrano Cab at $56 and the ability to cork it and take it home when not finished, was a deal. Great Caesar salad with anchovies requested. The dressing was perfect. I had the Paparadelle Bolognese which was incredibly delicious, but a huge portion! My husband had the Seafood Linguine with red sauce, which he really enjoyed. The whole dinner was a great value for the money. We had not been to La Strada in a while, but will be returning soon.
