Christian and Mickey we’re doing amazing attending to our needs. They were short staffed but still were so attentive. We got the salmon, oysters, and salads and everything was delicious!

First time eating there. Reservation easy, waitress a bit clingy but attentive. Food was good and the 3 of us could chat in low noise environment. Music was good choice. too. m

Our anniversary dinner was a quiet and enjoyable experience. The food was excellent with several flavors we had not experienced before. The service was great with everyone acknowledging our anniversary. Would definitely recommend reserving the Levee Bourbon Lounge for special occasions.

I’ve been to Levee / River House many times and had wonderful experiences. We even had our son’s rehearsal dinner there a few years ago. This experience did not meet the standard. We asked to sit outside (there were several open tables) and were told no. One in our party asked to sub shrimp for scallops on a dish (something she had done there many times before) and was told no. Another asked for no tomatoes in a dish and was told no. These were reasonable requests that were denied when they easily could have been met. Service was slow. When we sat down we were told cornbread was on the way. It showed up 45 minutes later at the same time as entrees. Water glasses were left unfilled more than once, too. The food quality was good as usual. They were using a smaller menu tonight which was disappointing as several favorite dishes from the regular menu weren’t on the reduced menu. There was also a group sitting near us that was very loud. The staff and management clearly recognized this as a problem but didn’t address it. We asked to move tables. Management took their time to move us until the noisy party left instead of reseating us immediately. The lack of consideration for us as customers was a disappointment and very much out of character for the restaurant given our years of enjoyable and memorable visits.
